Hollyoaks star Stephanie Waring has branded Kym Marsh ”heartless”’ for dating her ex-boyfriend.

Stephanie said Coronation Street actress Kym broke an “unwritten” rule by dating her ex and the father of her baby Dan Hooper.

The actress said she was devastated when she heard that the Corrie star and mum-of-three had been linked to 31-year-old Dan, who she has a three-year-old daughter Lexi-Grace with.

Kym and personal trainer Dan were pictured together hand-in-hand as they made their way into a club on Thursday evening after Kym judged the annual Miss Manchester beauty pageant.

Stephanie said, “She’s carried on with him knowing what it’s done to me. It is killing me.

“I considered her a friend who I’ve known for years. I had no idea that she would ever do anything like this… There is an unwritten rule that if you are friends with somebody you don’t go near their ex partners.”

The 36-year-old star also branded Kym “heartless” for her romance with Dan.

But the Corrie actress has dismissed the claims saying she’s disappointed in her pal for not speaking to her in person.

A spokesperson for Kym said, “Kym and Dan are not in a relationship but have both been single for some time and are entitled to socialise with whomever they wish. Kym has more dignity than to respond further.”
