Inside job? Police say there’s more to Kim K’s robbery than we think
Just a day after Kim Kardashian West was held at gunpoint by a group of burglars in her Parisian accommodation, authorities investigating the crime are pursuing a line of enquiry which suggests the crime may have stemmed from a member of Kim's own team.
Speaking to the New York Post, a source told the paper that officials believe that the gang involved had ties with the 35-year-old star's own entourage.
"French police suspect that the five alleged robbers had some contact with her security and were tipped off about her procedures." they revealed.
"They knew there was no security with her inside her apartment that night. All they had to do was go in, make contact with someone inside the hotel." they added.
According to those in the know, alibis and witness testimony don't add up, with the source revealing: "They have issues with the story of more than one worker at the hotel."
"They are also talking to bodyguards who worked with her earlier in the week.”
The mum-of-two, who has been reunited with Kanye and her family back in LA, had $8.5 million dollars worth of jewellery stolen in Monday morning's incident.
