Last night, Ariana Grande‘s Instagram account was hacked by a currently unknown perpetrator.

Her account was then spammed with images and content of a racist nature.

A number of posts included racist language, with one reading: 'f***** ass n****.'

Another read ‘GANG B**** F*** WIT US GET SHMOKEEDDD.’

Nicki Minaj replied to this particular post with a curious emoji, to which the hackers replied: ‘f*** u talking bout u next’.

The hackers insinuated that Nicki would be next in line to get hacked by the perpetrators.

A post shared by Ariana Grande (@arianagrande) on

The posts also included images of other Instagram accounts, with requests that Ariana's 111 million followers go and follow the linked accounts.

Ariana’s account has since been restored to its former glory, and the hacker's images have been removed.

Fans we're going crazy on social media, wondering what on earth was happening with the star's social media.

Ariana responded to the debacle with a GIF on her Instagram page, showing that she isn't taking the hack too seriously.

'Y'all when i got hacked this am,' she captioned the snap.

Let's talk about boob sweat, shall we?

Very, very few of us are immune to it, and the vast majority of us have spent more time than we'd like to admit marvelling at the sheer amount of sweat our bust can generate.

Whether it's following a hot shower, due to an ill-fitting bra or because the weather is more pleasant than you're generally used to, your boobs can sweat.

And they can sweat hard.

Considering this, it's perhaps no surprise that the internet has gone wild for the Ta Ta Towel –  a creation which seeks to cool a woman down in the bust area.

Has anyone checked these out yet?!! The #tatatowel it's for #boobsweat y'all!

A post shared by M (@tatted.paint_) on

Touted as a 'patented solution to your boob sweat problems', the good folk behind the creation insist it's great for nursing or during pregnancy, perfect for prep before a big night out or ideal for lounging in.

Available in three sizes (yep, you guessed it, S,M,L), the Ta Ta Towel is currently the talk of the internet.

My ladies with DD…I know you'll understand.#TataTowel

"I need one of those!" wrote one enthusiastic Ta Ta Towel fan while another remarked: "I have no words for that. Although #swoobies is my new favorite word."

It's our favourite new word too.

We're going to take a wild guess here and say that your last Instagram seflie didn't happen in one take.

Of course it didn't.

The lighting, angle, pose and filter all had to be just right so that everyone would see the best version of you.

See, we rarely tend to focus on the positive features about ourselves, and instead become engulfed by our so-called flaws.

It doesn't matter how beautiful your friends think you look au naturale, you still think you look like the bride of Frankenstein after a few too many.

And that's exactly the kind of negative behaviour one Instagrammer is trying to stop.

Louise Aubrey, a student at SciencesPo Paris and UC Berkeley, recently uploaded a side-by-side-comparison, illustrating how she sees herself versus how others see her.

I am guilty. I am here to always be completely honest, because I feel social medias need more of it. | As much as I preach self love and truly made some progress accepting myself, there is something I really struggle with : pictures  Whenever I see a picture of me, the first things which catches my eyes are my FLAWS. I always see what is wrong. "Too close". "My nose appears too big." "My legs look too white". "I look terrible" This is usually what follows when someone show me a picture they took of me  YET, I really do not look at people's flaws first when I look at a picture of someone else ! On the contrary, I tend to focus on their assets So why not do the same with yourself ? We really need to learn not to be so harsh on ourselves. It is not healthy. I am going to work on it, and I hope you will too.

A post shared by Louise| PARIS |Thinker & Maker (@mybetter_self) on

She makes the point that while she tends to focus on her 'big nose', 'back fat' and 'cellulite', others focus on her 'big smile', 'long legs' and 'strong butt'.

The blogger urged her followers to indulge in a little self-love and treat themselves as other would.

“We really need to learn not to be so harsh on ourselves. It is not healthy. I am going to work on it, and I hope you will too.”

Speaking to Metro.co.uk, Louise said: “I created this post because I feel social media platforms are not quite what they could be and should be – i.e a tool to promote empowerment.”

“Self-criticism comes from several causes. The society we’ve evolved in overemphasises our physical appearances. The influence of role models, the use of photo editing; it puts a great pressure on our shoulders and nourishes the feeling of not being worthy enough.”

This is a lesson would could all benefit from.

Just five months after giving birth to her first child, Cheryl has revealed she is back at work.

Cheryl, 34 and partner, Liam Payne, 23, welcomed their son Bear in March of this year.

A post shared by Cheryl (@cherylofficial) on

Since then, Liam has been busy working on his career post-One Direction, making many public appearances while he promotes his debut solo track, Strip That Down.

However, the same can't be said for the former Girls Aloud star and X Factor judge, who kept a notoriously low profile throughout her pregnancy and has shied away from the limelight since giving birth.

But, that looks like it could all be about to change after the mother-of-one shared a photo on her Instagram showing her posing for a professional photographer.

While some say Instagram is a realm for negativity and low self-esteem, others are taking small steps to turn it into a place of positivity.

With artists turning 'flaws' into art and encouraging women to be happy in their bodies, new research has found that following plus-size models on the site is really beneficial.

Ashley Graham and Iskra Lawrence have been making waves in the industry for years now and use their platform to encourage women to be more body confident, and it turns out, it's working.

New research from Florida State University saw scientists study a group of 40 women aged between 18 – 22.

All of the women described themselves as wanting to be slimmer, or wanting to loose weight.

The beginning of the study saw the women looking at images of models of various sizes. They were then asked questions about their own bodies.

The study's lead author, Dr Russell Clayton explained to Grazia: "By measuring psychophysiological responses during image exposure, we were able to gain insights into the real-time cognitive and emotional responses that unfold when women are exposed to different-size media fashion models."

When the participants were looking at images of slimmer models, they said they had low self-esteem, and weren't very body confident.

However, when looking at curvier models the women "experienced enhanced psychological health and higher body satisfaction."

A post shared by i s k r a (@iskra) on

"We found overwhelmingly that there is a clear psychological advantage when the media shows more realistic body types than the traditional thin model," added another researcher.

"Women made fewer social comparisons, felt increased body satisfaction, paid more attention to and remembered average and plus-size models.

"Therefore, it might be a useful persuasive strategy for media producers to employ plus-size models if the goal of the campaign is to capture attention while also promoting body positivity."

We're all for that.

It's been five years since Ashleigh Butler and her incredibly talented (and ridiculously cute) dog, Pudsey, made their way onto the stage for the sixth year of auditions on Britain's Got Talent.

As the weeks progressed, Pudsey, who was a Border Collie, Bichon Frise and Chinese Crested powderpuff cross, delighted viewers more and more, and ultimately went on to win the title.

While Pudsey's talent and Ashleigh's skill certainly set them on course for a big win at the time, the bond they shared is what kept members of the public captivated years later.

So it's no surprise that news of Pudsey's passing has hit Ashleigh's fans and followers hard this week.

Taking to Instagram to share the news, Ashleigh uploaded a touching photo of herself and her pet, before paying tribute to the gorgeous Pudsey.

"I can't honestly believe I am writing these words. My handsome man has gone, and I don't know what to do without him," she began in a post which has been liked almost 4,000 times so far.

"My heart is broken, and I don't know how I'm going to get through this. It hurts so much, that my handsome, incredible Pudsey Bear will never be by my side, where he belongs, again."

"We only had 11 years together, but they were the best years ever. He was my one in a billion dog that will never be replaced," she continued.

Finishing the post with one final nod to her beloved pet, Ashleigh wrote: "I don't need to write all of his endless accomplishments on here to prove how incredible he was for me. Sleep tight my handsome man, I love you lots."

Unsurprisingly, members of the public have replied to Ashleigh's post in their droves, with many recalling the animal's time on Britain's Got Talent.

According to figures released by The Endometriosis Association of Ireland, approximately 10% of Irish women suffer from the condition and yet there remains a distinct lack of conversation around the topic.

But we're not alone. Women all across the world face difficulties in getting their symptoms acknowledged, and often feel isolated when a diagnosis is made.

However, in an effort to break the stigma, one American woman has taken to Instagram to share the truth about living with endometriosis, a condition whereby a woman’s endometrial lining grows outside of the uterus.

Thessy Kouzoukas, a creative director and co-owner of the fashion brand Sabo Skirt, posted two side-by-side pictures showing the extent to which her condition effects her body.

The two photographs, taken just five weeks apart, demonstrate a vast difference in the size of Thessy's stomach.

This is quite shocking to people. This is me. This is endometriosis. I never intended to share these photos hence why I'm naked, but my god I can't believe the amount of DM's I've received from girls who have endo too and feel alone. The left is my stomach 3 weeks after a ruptured cyst (5 weeks ago). The right is me now, on a drug called "synarel" that has stopped all my hormones and sent me into menopause at the age of 27. My upcoming trip to Greece along with this drug is in hopes to get me prepped and in the best condition both physically and mentally for an operation I'm receiving in late August. Endo is no joke. I'll be operated on for 7+ hours and hospitalised for a week. Please, spread the word about endo. And If you know anyone with bad period pain PLEASE tell them to get checked for this. And to my girls with endo.. you're not alone

A post shared by Thessy Kouzoukas (@thessy.k) on

This isn't the first time the 27-year-old has opened up her condition.

Earlier this year, she penned an incredibly honest piece for The Huffington Post, in which she described the unbearable abdominal pain experienced by endometriosis sufferers.

It read: “When I first got my period as a young teenager, I got labelled 'lazy' when I couldn't participate in certain sports at school, or 'drama queen' when I would take days off school because I was doubled over in the shower trying desperately to find relief from abdominal pain."

"We aren't told how much pain should be considered tolerable, or when too much pain could be an indication of something worse, like Endometriosis.”

It's been two months since Miranda Kerr wed Snapchat founder, Evan Spiegel, and ever since the pair met at the top of the aisle, her fans and followers have been only dying for a glimpse of the chosen gown.

And today, the 34-year-old Australian model put an official end to the suspense.

Taking to Instagram to share a series of shots from her big day, the Victoria Secret Angel looked every bit as beautiful as you would have expected.

"I think it's every girl's dream to have Dior design her wedding dress. " Miranda said during an interview with Vogue.

"I wanted a dress that fully covers you and creates a sense of mystery and purity." she added. "I've had a lot of fun with fashion, and I used to be more wild, free and bohemian. But in this period of my life, my style is more pulled back."

Offering an insight into her fashion influence, she continued: "My greatest sources of inspiration have always been Grace [Kelly] Audrey Heburn and my grandmother."

There was a time when Sophie Gray's followers were given constant updates on her the health and fitness progress.

From snaps showing off her sculpted abs and toned triceps to images highlighting her lean physique, Sophie was just one of thousands of fitness bloggers online.

But not anymore.

Turning her back on her old approach to Instagram, Sophie now highlights the important of self-love, the need for a realistic work / life/ exercise balance, and does her utmost to remind her 370,000 followers that their self-worth isn't determined by the number on the scales or the duration of their exercise session.

And why the change of tack?

Well, Sophie stumbled upon an old photo of herself which had been re-posted by a fitness account, who captioned the shot: "Nothing tastes as good as feeling fit feels’.

Uncomfortable by the connotations which accompanied this photograph of herself, Sophie replied: "Actually, from experience and seeing as I’m the person in this photo… I know that pizza and cookies taste way better."

And with that, Sophie decided to change the vibe of her uber-popular Instagram account.

Now, Sophie shares inspirational posts which aren't solely focussed on the physical, and instead made reference to mental health, mindfulness, self-contentment and self-assurance.

And frankly, we're all over it.

Here are just a few of our favourites.

1. How to reach out.

Have you been all levels of emotional lately? I cried in my shower this morning thinking about the ending of Wonder Women. I also cried uncontrollably for 15 minutes while hugging Rio because I know one day I won’t be able to do that. All of the emotions. Can you relate?!! If you have been going through something similar the past week or so, know you’re not alone. I won’t go all woo woo on you, but the moon plays a huge role in our emotional experience as women. It’s bizarre to me that I can have these crying fits, or deeper, more “I’m not moving from my couch for 2 days straight” experiences and in the moment think I’m so alone. But, when I connect with my girlfriends, I learn that they’re experiencing the same thing. This connection and ability to hear what they’re going through instantly makes me feel better. It doesn’t make me feel better because I’m stoked that they’re hurting. It makes me feel better because it shows me just how connected we all are, especially women. I’ll be completely honest… I have never had a great relationship with my female peers. My own insecurities left me feeling judged, insecure and shut down. It feels like as women we were trained to see each other as enemies, or competition. This couldn't be further from the truth. As of late I have been learning the absolutely necessity of finding people to connect with. I know it can take a long time to find girlfriends who lift you up, so I want to give a space for that right now. Is there something you’re going through that’s making you feel really alone? Or have you been crying uncontrollably about random things? I would love to hear your experience below. But, I'm making a rule.. if you’re sharing – connect with at least one of the other lovely ladies who have shared their experiences. Connect. Relate. Be vulnerable. This isn’t a place to vent or rant. It’s a thread to show up, be heard and connect. It's not about dwelling in these experiences. It's about allowing them to be heard and then instantly releasing them. Okay, go! Tell me what you're going through. Or, what you have been crying about recently. Share, and know it's a safe space to do so.

2. Understanding self-care.

This is what self care can look like. Self care isn't only reserved for those who have the privilege of attending a yoga retreat in the jungle. It's not only for those who regularly go for massages. You don't need to lock yourself away in a day spa. Self care isn't one single activity. It's simply making time for you. Today I took a long shower, ate this dairy free ice cream thingy and watched Fifty Shades of Grey. Some days I drive with the radio turned off and repeat positive affirmations. Other days I go for walks with my dogs – and sometimes I do go on tropical vacations or get massages. This photo clearly isn't Instagram Fabulous – but it is real. I want to remind you that you can make time for yourself on the regular – and you are deserving of it. So, go out there and take care of yourself. Go for a walk, take a long shower, sing in your car, read a book, cry, practice yoga, go to Costa Rica.. just do something that allows you to care for your incredible self!

3. Treating anxiety and depression.

Okay you guys.. if you have been following my page for a little while, you'll know that I personally have gone through a lot of growth lately. I have been learning to view my anxiety and depression as a gift – anddd, my journey has hugely included books. I was never a reader before – but now, I'm hooked. Self help books are where it's at. My favourites: The Universe Has Your Back – Gabrielle Bernstein Anything by Louise Hay The Desire Map by Danielle Laporte Tears To Triumph by Marianne Williamson When @chaptersindigo asked me to get involved with their #alwaysbereading campaign, I of course said yes! SO, friends, get out there, check out your local @chaptersindigo, read some books, learn to be your own best friend and love yourself! What's your favourite book? 4. Learning self-love.

Hi. I have 400,000 followers on social media, and this is what I look like every morning. At first, I didn’t want to share this photo. I was thinking how I should brush my hair out first, then maybe I’d look better. But, nope. This is me. No makeup. No fake lashes. No hair to hide behind. This is how I start every morning. I am not ashamed of this bare face. I am not ashamed of my blemishes. I am not ashamed of my blonde basically invisible lashes. I am not ashamed of my dry lips. I am not ashamed of myself – and you shouldn’t be either. While this may not be the most flattering photo, it’s real. If you’re a female, and you shower, you most likely have a bare face with your hair wrapped up in a towel at some point in the day. I want you to celebrate this part of you. Self love isn’t only for hashtags and a face full of makeup. Self love is looking yourself in the mirror when everything is washed away and knowing you still accept yourself. It’s time for you to love who you see in the mirror. It’s time for you to love yourself. I have put together a FREE offering that highlights my morning routine for being my most confident self. It includes the steps I follow each morning to love myself – and it has nothing to do with styling your hair in a certain way or how to apply concealer. You can access it through the link in my bio!

Choosing a tattoo can be a deeply personal moment for some, and an off-the-cuff decision for others.

But no matter how much or how little time and energy you put into your inking, you are guaranteed to divide opinion no matter what choice you make.

Take Chris Zylka, for example.

The boyfriend of reality star-turned-DJ Paris Hilton, Chris decided to add to his collection of body art with an inking dedicated to the woman in his life – a decision she couldn't wait to share on Instagram in recent days.

Uploading a snap of Chris' arm, Paris gushed: "Such a lucky girl! My love surprised me & got my name tattooed in #Disney font. And said cause I’m his most magical place on Earth & he finally found his fairytale princess."

She finished the caption with '#BoyfriendGoals #ParisForever', and while some gushed over the tat, others couldn't help but pour scorn.

With that in mind, we decided to have a good mooch on Instagram for some of our favourite designs, so if you're in the market for a new inking, check out some contenders below.
