We wish that every Sunday mass was like this one!
This may be Ireland’s coolest (and most talented!) priest – is there a competition for that?
Well, if there was, then Fr Ray Kelly would win hands down.

Comedian Cormac Moore decided to ring TMZ live on his radio show to vent his frustration after a recent video in which the TMZ crew discussed Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s recent trip to Dublin.
In the video, they said Irish people didn’t know who Beyoncé and Jay-Z were, claimed that we were 15 years behind the US and then went on to say that Jay-Z put Dublin “on the map”.
Well, as you can imagine, Cormac was as incensed as we were.
Leaving a voicemail for TMZ that you can listen to below, Cormac blasts the gossip site and tells them things about Ireland they clearly don’t know such as who actually put us on the map (hint: it wasn’t Jay-Z) and why we managed to leave the couple and their young daughter alone on their family trip to Phoenix Park.
The thing that annoyed people most about the TMZ video was that there was an Irish guy joining in. Peter O’Riordan was the one who said that Queen Bey and Jay Z were able to walk around without hassle because Irish people “wouldn’t know who they are”.
Peter now claims on his Twitter account that what he said on the show was edited and he has no power over this: “I don’t edit the tv show , nor can I speak for any of my co workers or my boss. Slan go foil”.

Masterchef Ireland is returning to our screens tonight.
With the high standards that have been shown in the last few years, we can’t wait to see what this year’s amateur chefs have in store.
During the launch of the TV programme, Dylan McGrath addressed why he enjoys doing the show and the growing awareness of food in Ireland: “We do the show because we have a ball making it and also because it is giving restaurants the boost they need. I think it is an incredible time for restaurants in Ireland … Ireland has become a real food nation.”
Dylan McGrath runs the famous Rustic Stone restaurant on George’s St as well as Fade St. Social on Fade St. in Dublin. He will be joined on Masterchef Ireland once again by Nick Munier, co-owner of Pichet restaurant in Trinty Lane, Dublin.
Masterchef Ireland will air Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 8.30pm on RTÉ One.
Paulo Nutini has announced three dates in the UK and Ireland.
He will play Dublin’s Olympia Theatre on March 20th, with tickets due to go on sale this Friday, 14th at 9am. The gigs will then continue over to Bournemouth in the UK on the 25th before finishing up in his home country of Scotland, playing in Glasgow on the 29th.
Did your Valentine’s Day gift just get a lot easier? Paulo’s new album Caustic Love is out on April 14th.
He’ll perish in this cold!
David Farley, journalist with The New York Times, has written an article praising many of Dublin’s foodie hotspots.
Ranging from the affordable lunch options to the more expensive special occasions spots, Farley describes how Dublin has entered a new food era that has essentially gone back to basics. He remarked that Dublin restaurants are, “emphasizing locally sourced ingredients,” adding that he has, “never eaten better”.
Judging from the places that Farley ate in, we’re not one bit surprised by how impressed he was. The Hot Stove, Fade Street Social, Brasserie at The Marker Hotel, L. Mulligan Grocer and Hatch & Sons succeeded in wowing the journalist with their wide range of classic Irish food with a modern vibe.
Black pudding, venison, boxty, pork belly, salmon, craft stouts, blaa, duck fat fries and mussels are just some of the great Irish foods that impressed The New York Times journalist , while Fade St. Social’s lamb stew epitomized his week of eating in Dublin: “an Irish classic but updated for the 21st century palette”.
We’re feeling pretty lucky to have such amazing restaurants and bistros right on our doorstep – anyone for a scone?
Not all hairdressers are like this, of course, but I think we’ve all been to couple of these.
We’ve all heard about the negative effects of smoking and passive smoking; most notably, the development of cancer.
Passive smoking has always been considered to be just as bad as actual smoking, which has been a driving force in bringing in smoking bans.
However, it’s been revealed that evidence claiming passive smoking is dangerous is actually inconsistent.
Nearly ten years after Ireland introduced the first workplace smoking ban, the latest report on the lung cancer risks of passive smoking contradict previous research.
Apparently, “exposure to passive smoking overall, and to most individual categories of passive smoking, did not significantly increase lung-cancer risk.”
However, if you live with a smoker, you may be in trouble as the report “shows a trend of increased risk was living in the same house with a smoker for 30 years or more”.
