Ireland’s first billion dollar star is….
We thought Colin Farrell did fairly well for himself, but not when compared to 22-year-old Jack Reynor, who is officially Ireland’s first billion dollar star.
He is the most successful box office star for a single movie, since Transformers: Age of Extinction, became the first film this year to pass $1bn in global receipts.
Liam Neeson is a close runner up after starring in Star Wars: Episode 1 – The Phantom Menace raked in $983m (€722m) worldwide in 1999.
Imagine having earned this title at 22-years-old? We are green with envy – what are we doing with our lives?!
