Dwayne Johnson proves time and time again why he's one of our FAVE celebs.

In a heartwarming video, a little lad from Kildare had his wish granted by meeting The Rock.

Nine-year-old PJ is living with Ewing's sarcoma and wanted nothing more than to meet his idol.

Make-A-Wish Ireland was the organisation behind this very special day.

PJ was one of three kids who had the chance to hang out on the set of Hobbs & Shaw.

Little did they know that Dwayne would soon be joining them.

The look of pure shock as The Rock walks in on PJ's face is a sight to behold – it's just so CUTE.

The Rock then treats PJ to a number of presents, including an X-box gaming gift voucher.

The nine-year-old then chimes in that he doesn't have the console, but Dwayne quickly came to the rescue with a custom made X-box.

The specialised gifts didn't stop there, as The Rock gave him some of his signature homemade chocolate chip cookies – if you're a fan of The Rock, you know how amazing this gift truly is.

After spending the day with PJ, Tanya, PJ's mum said: "This is a chance of a life time…He's just so happy."

PJ added that meeting his idol was "just a dream come true."

Reflecting on the experience, The Rock thanked the children he met and added that he has "the best job in the world."

On Twitter, Make-A-Wish thanked Dwayne for granting PJ's wish.

The Rock responded with: "PJ’s an awesome and special boy. So cool that I got a chance to hang out with him!! Thanks PJ!"

You can watch the full video of PJ's special day below.

Excuse us – we may have something in our eye.

Just when we thought we couldn't love Dwayne Johnson anymore – he shows that he's a true legend.

Just when we thought 2019 was going well, we were hit with this.

We didn't really need anymore confirmation that property in Dublin is expensive AF – but it's about to get even pricer.

Dublin estate agents have predicted that property value in our capital will rise by an average of 3.8 percent this year.

Their forecast for 2019 is less than half of the figure they predicted for last year.

The Sunday Times said it was an indication that estate agents are more cautious for the year ahead, following a subdued 2018 for the Dublin property market.

Prices were expected to rise last year, but they crept up slower than anticipated.

Predictions for the year ahead vary from no change to price increases of 7 percent, reports The Sunday Times.

But the vast majority of estate agents foresee increases of 3-5 percent in the low to mid-market.

Very small increases are expected for property valued at €750,000 or above, and despite inflation slowing, many estate agents still predict to see slight price rises.

The cheapest place to buy a home in Dublin are in Ballymun, Dublin 11, Neilstown in Dublin 22, and Darndale in Dublin 17.

However, if you have the cash to splash – Dublin’s most expensive suburbs will cost up to three times as much.

A three-bedroom townhouse in Ranelagh, Dublin 6 will set you back an average of  €650,000.

You'll need to cough up an average of €625,000 to buy in Ballsbridge and Donnybrook, Dublin 4.

If you require abortion information or help, please be careful about fake websites.

The HSE has issued a warning about a bogus website which is imitating the newly launched MyOptions website.

The official MyOptions web page is run by the HSE and provides correct information about abortion services available in the Republic of Ireland.

A freephone line was also established by the HSE with trained professional counsellors on the other end.

You can find the helpline phone number through the MyOptions.ie web page.

However, a bogus MyOptions has surfaced online when users search for the free helpline.

The fake site reads: "Call us now and book a free ultrasound if you are thinking about termination and need to know how far pregnant you are and all you need to know to be fully informed.”

It includes an Irish mobile number listed under the contact information and an email address.

The site is linked to an anonymous Facebook page, which began sharing anti-abortion videos in May 2018.

A spokesperson for the HSE confirmed that the website isn't linked in anyway to the official MyOptions helpline or website.

“We are aware of a number of websites and ads that are appearing in search results and social media that claim to be providing unplanned pregnancy support services under variations of the myoptions name,” the spokesperson stated.

The spokesperson added that unreliable agencies mightn't be "upfront" about their motivation behind the information they are providing people.

“Some unreliable agencies may not be upfront about their intentions and may try to influence a person’s decision. The HSE recommends that people should only visit a recognised or HSE-funded unplanned pregnancy counselling agency,” they said.

“If people are looking at information online, look for the HSE logo.”

They added that the correct freephone number for people seeking information about their options is 1800 828 010.

The HSE has released a number of warning signs that usually means the source you've sought help and information from, is unreliable.

These include extended periods of time between appointments, meeting in public places such as a hotel or car park and a delay in pregnancy test results.

Your results should be provided to you immediately.

If you receive information or leaflets with limited information and it contains negative or frightening language, is another indication.

Lastly it you are shown inappropriate media such as pictures and videos during counselling sessions is a big red flag, as they are used to sway a woman's choice.

The Luas website has been taken down this morning, after a hacker left a message for the transport system.

Before the page was removed from the web, when customers went to the website, the usual information didn't appear.

Instead a message showed up saying that if one bitcoin wasn't deposited within five days, their data would be released.

The text read: "You are hacked. Some time ago I wrote that you have serious security holes."

"You didn't reply, the next time someone talks to you, press the reply button."

"You must pay 1 bitcoin in 5 days, otherwise I will publish all data and send emails to your users."

The hacker then left an address for the bitcoin to be deposited to.

On Twitter, Luas have asked customers to call 1850 300 604 if they require any information or have queries.

They ask for passengers not to click onto the Luas website, and they are working to resolve the issue.

Drought weather conditions have unrevealed some RAD archaeological finds at Newgrange within the World Heritage Site of Brú na Bóinne.

Today marks the shortest day of the year, which sent a stream of sunlight into the megalithic chamber at the site.

To celebrate the winter solstice, the interim report was released which gave extra details into the discoveries at Newgrange.

National Monuments Service

Early this year, in July, stunning patterns were uncovered on the floodplain beside the Newgrange passage tomb.

The discovery is believed to give a rare look into prehistoric rituals and architecture.

The Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht said the findings “reinforces the remarkable level of ceremonial and ritual use of the landscape around Newgrange during the prehistoric period”.

The discoveries are detailed as "immense enclosures of timber uprights and large ceremonial henges have been identified on the floodplain in the shadow of Newgrange passage tomb."

"These monuments, visible only fleetingly as cropmarks during the dry summer, clearly form a deliberately structured and ritual landscape of great significance."

National Monuments Service

It is understood that the wooden structures were built around three hundreds years after the passage tombs.

Josepha Madigan, Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, said: “These remarkable archaeological discoveries are a significant reinforcement of the Unesco World Heritage inscription and will transform our understanding of Brú na Bóinne."

"These discoveries will inspire much interest and will attract further research and interpretation. My department looks forward to working with the landowners and academic institutes and researchers in the years ahead on ensuring the secrets these sites still hold are revealed," she added.

It's truly remarkable, but this site is currently not available to the public as it's on private property.

Rob Lipsett has addressed claims that he was at the centre of an RTÉ Investigates episode last night.

The programme was all about the use of steroids in Ireland.

Video footage during the show featured what they described as a "well-known social media fitness blogger” buying the steroids.

Although the clip didn't identify the man as they changed his voice and disguised his face, the presenter did describe the individual as:  “Later, a well-known Social media fitness blogger enters the shop.”

“This man claims to be a natural athlete on his social media account, where he has thousands of followers. However, it soon emerged that his ripped physique is chemically induced,” the presenter added.

It was the description of a "well-known fitness influencer" that made viewers point the finger towards Rob.

Taking to Twitter, Rob addressed the controversy head on: "Apparently @RTEOne did some steroid documentary and everyone thinks I was in it and my face was blurred out haha."

"If I was on steroids do you think I’d be so stupid to go and talk about it on TV. They probably hired some knock off version of me."

In another tweet, he joked: "Also if I’m on steroids I need to get a refund cause they didn’t work, been basically the same size for years."

And then added: "Anyways cba watching the show, I’m sure it was interesting but I had nothing to do with it. Kinda want to meet the lad that everyone thinks is me though."

Hopefully Rob's denial of purchasing and using steroids will have a positive influence on his followers to avoid the drugs entirely.

Anabolic steroid misuse could lead to serious, even permanent, health problems such as: kidney problems or failure, liver damage and tumours.
