It’s baaaack!

RTÉ have released a teaser for the fifth season of Love/Hate and it is looking uh-mazing!

We can’t wait to catch up with Fran, Nidge and the lads to check out what they’ve been up to for the summer.

Sunning themselves in Kilkee eating some 99’s, perhaps?

A nice quiet tour of the O’Connor Pass?

Somehow, we doubt it.

RTÉ's new show Drunk is a bit on the controversial side, as it offers free alcohol to contestants so that they can then be put through different tests to see the effects of the drug on our ability to function.

The results? Well, apparently scientists were amazed at how little twelve or thirteen standard units of alcohol affected contestants, causing concern at how tolerant we are becoming due to over indulgence.

Bill Malone, RTE Two Channel Controller said that "The first night we went filming, we supplied the alcohol. The Irish young people, all over 18 of course, drank 12 to 13 vodkas each and the majority of them were functioning completely normal on the tests.

"The medical professionals were astounded by the level of capacity in the young Irish people who were able to drink."

We're all for tolerance here at SHEmazing!, but not like this! If you're going out tonight, maybe set yourself a healthy limit of alcohol, you'll be glad of it in the morning!

Wow, it looks like the world really, really wants to see people eating bird poo!

This Irish girl was enjoying an ice-cream cone on the beach and making a video for her family back home.

When she wasn’t looking an evil bird pooped on her ice-cream and she turns back and eats it, nooo!

The bird, not satisfied that he wasn’t noticed, then pooped all over her head, her reaction is pretty amazing.

Made in Chelsea star Alex Mytton has jetted off on a Greek holiday with Irish model Nicola Hughes.

Nicola, who works with Andrea Roche Models jetted out to Greece with Alex on Thursday and the pair are soaking up some sun together.

Nicola, who met Alex at a nightclub in Co Kildare last month, has been telling friends that he’s not the cheat that he’s made out to be on the reality show.

Alex split from MIC star Binky after she learned he had cheated on her more than *ahem, a few times.

And rumours are rife that Nicola could be featuring on the next series of reality show Made in Chelsea.

Good luck Nicola…you might just need it!

We don’t know about you, but when we stay in a B&B, we make it our business to make sure we’re up early enough for the fry-up. And if it’s a buffet? Well, we won’t leave until there’s nothing left!

However, it seems we’re in the minority these days as Jurys hotel group have analysed the habits of their one million guests’ breakfast eating habits so far this year, and they found that British guests are eating twice as many fry-ups than Irish guests.

What are we eating instead? Muesli, bran flakes, probiotic yoghurt and fruit. Lovely.

We’re all for healthy living, but surely you can allow yourself a fry-up when you’re on holiday? It’s all part of the fun!

Many of us were in first year of college at one stage, here are some of the things you will remember feeling as the Leaving Cert results fast approach next Wednesday:

1. “I’m a genius!”

Results are out and you’ve managed to get the points for the course you wanted. You get accepted to you’re first choice on the CAO.

2. Excitement

I’m so freakin’ excited!

You’re finally off to the big smoke…

3. Nerves

It’s moving time. The car is loaded up and you're ready for your college experience.

4. “Who’s this eejit?”

Meeting your new house mates for the first time is strange. You’re thrown into a pokey apartment with 4+ strangers; space is tight, anything left in a common room becomes public property and if you’re not used to sharing then prepare to have your patience tested. You’ll soon be able to label each house mate: the quirky one, the musical one, the annoying one, the sex mad one, the party animal, the stoner, the book worm. If you’re wondering who the weird one is but can’t figure it out, it’s you.

5. FREEDOM!

Orientation is a boooooore. Sure, you find out where stuff is and you’ll probably make a friend or two, but this week is nothing compared to the freshers party week which follows … Can anyone say “TOGA”?!

6. The alcoholic phase.

Tesco vodka and gin are a thing of the past thank God now that we are older and wiser…ahem.

7. SEEEEEEXXXXX!

For many of us, college was where we became more in tune with our sexuality.

8. “9 am lecture? Good luuuuuuck!”

Fast forward four years and this may be your biggest regret.

9. Being poor is the new rich

You’re broke, living off Koka noodles and black coffee with any spare cash going on whatever nights out you can afford. College will make you appreciate money soooo much more than you ever did before.

10. Nakedness

There's always that one housemate who just cannot keep their clothes on. You've seen their bum more than your own at this stage.

11. “Oh No … I fancy my housemate"

If it doesn’t happen to you, it’ll happen to your friend. It’s pretty hilarious until one of the people concerned inevitably has to hit the road.

12. Availing of all of the discounts

Ah how we miss all of those discounts… We still chance our arm, of course, but they always cop the 2012 on our card *dammit*

13. Protesting!

Cutting student grants? Protest! Price of pints in the SU has gone up? Protest! Don’t know what everyone is giving out about? Protest!

14. Clubs and Societies

http://maidenofletters.files.wordpress.com/2014/03/tumblr_inline_mx5gpjligx1r3tdto.gif

The ones you’ll join directly relate to the amount of free stuff you will get from them.

15. Boring Weekends

Your Saturday nights consist of bad TV and eating your feelings.

16. Kleptomania

Why do you have a traffic cone, a shopping trolley, 3 wet floor signs, drip mats and road signs in your living room? Because you can, that’s why.

17. Panic

Exams are looming, you’ve done feck all for the whole semester. A few all nighters, pass by compensation, be grand!

The couple were said to be blown away by Ashford Castle which lies on the Mayo-Galway border and are planning on tying the knot there at the end of the year.

This Irish wedding will then be followed by a massive Malibu party to celebrate their nuptials stateside.

Friends actress, Courteney, and Snow Patrol musician, Johnny, became engaged back in June and had been spotted in Ireland this past month.

Will this make for a Friends reunion? Well, they did go to London after all!
