After her outburst during the week, Jada Pinkett Smith has thanked Oscars president Cheryl Boone Isaacs. 

The president of the awards admitted to being "heartbroken and frustrated" by the all-white nominations, which were announced this week. 

Jada made a very public video and promised to boycott the award show next month, but Cheryl had a very quick response and insisted that the organisation is going up for a review. 

Mrs Pinkett Smith then took to social media saying: "I would like to express my gratitude to the Academy, specifically Cheryl Boone Isaacs, for such a quick response in regard to the issue at hand. I look forward to the future."

Jada's husband, Will Smith was hoping for a nomination for his role in Concussion, but didn't make the final five. Will's ex-co-star, Janet Hubert, who played Aunt Viv in The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, also spoke out yesterday about Jada's public video.

During the week, Jada Pinkett Smith delivered a rather powerful message about no black people being nominated for the Oscars.

Will Smith was overlooked for his role in Concussion, and since the nominations were announced, Jada wants to boycott the awards ceremony. 

In the video, which was posted by TMZ, Jada says, "Maybe it's time we pull back our resources and we put them back into our communities, and we make programmes for ourselves that acknowledge us in ways that we see fit, that are just as good as the so-called mainstream."

She also made it clear that she won't be attending the Oscars this year.

But now, Will's former co-star, Janet Hubert, who was the original Aunt Viv on Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, has ripped into Jada, saying that she is a sore loser. 

"First of all, Miss Thang, does your man not have a mouth of his own with which to speak," Janet said. 

She then goes on to say that there are worse things happening in the world: "People are trying to pay bills and you talking about some motherf***ing actors and Oscars."

He's been married to Jada Pinkett Smith for twenty years, and Will Smith has finally revealed the secret to a happy relationship.

Unfortunately, it's a little less romantic than you might think. Speaking at the LA premiere of his film Concussion this week, the actor said the main thing keeping his marriage going strong was his and Jada's insistence on "not quitting."

And indeed, the 47-year-old star admits his two decades of marriage haven't always been easy.

"It’s like our marriage was the most difficult, gruelling, excruciating thing that we have ever taken on in our lives. And you know we're just not quitters."

While many long-term couples would say teamwork is important in a relationship, Will seems inclined to disagree.

"I would say is that we never went into working on our relationship.

"We only ever worked on ourselves individually, and then presented ourselves to one another better than we were previously."

Over the last few years the couple, who have 17-year-old son Jaden and 15-year-old daughter Willow together, have been plagued by divorce rumours.

However they've always insisted they're as strong as ever – with Will even taking to Facebook earlier this year to put an end to the speculation.

"So, in the interest of redundant, repetitious, over & over-again-ness… Jada and I are…NOT GETTING A DIVORCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!" he wrote.

"I promise you all – if I ever decide to divorce my Queen – I SWEAR I'll tell you myself."

Their approach to marriage might be a little unorthodox, but twenty years on it still seems to be working for this pair.

Willow Smith turned 15 over the weekend, and her famous dad couldn't resist a little Facebook shout-out.

As the daughter of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, Willow has lived her whole life in the spotlight, but her dad's message yesterday shows that underneath it all she's just a normal teen.

Having found fame aged just 11 with her song Whip My Hair, Willow became something of a child star, but she has bowed out of the limelight more in recent years.

"She’s really just developing herself… She’s taking her time to develop her skills, so when she feels like people are ready to know the real Willow, then she will make a comeback," her dad said recently.

Back in 2012, Will came under fire for revealing his son had asked for emancipation from his parents for his 15th birthday.

However in a later interview on The Ellen Degeneres Show, Will insisted his comments had been a "joke," adding, "My baby boy, he's never leaving me, ever. No emancipation for the Smith kids."

As for Jaden, he joked that his dad wouldn't allow him to move out until "'I have a movie that's bigger than one of his movies."

You can now add restauranteur to Drake's CV. 

Early this week, the 28-year-old rapper had a low-key celebration for the opening of his new restaurant, Fring. 

He opened the restaurant in his hometown of Toronto and invited his BFF Serena Williams, Jada Pinkett Smith and Jaden Smith. 

The menu for his restaurant is still under wraps, but the star did partner up with chef Susur Lee, of the restaurant Lee, Bent and Luckee. 

He also hired past contestants of US TV shows Iron Chef and Top Chef Masters to join the venture, so the food must be good! 

Drake has been a friend of Susur's sons Kai and Levi Bent-Lee for a while, which kind of explains the partnership, and according to Fashion Magazine, the menu will feature Asian hints as per Susur's signature, mixed with high-end snacks.

We have been big fans of Will Smith for some time now, he kind of won us over way back when he was still the Fresh Prince and parachte pants were a definite trend. 

People all over the internet feel even more in love with him this week however when he took to social media to post a very sweet tribute to his wife Jada on her birthday. 

He shared a very cute throwback snap of the pair as she turned 44 and the caption that came with it made people melt instantly:

“This was taken at your mom’s house 20 years ago. That’s a long time ago!!! So I decided to do some math… I have sung happy birthday to you 20 times and I have bought you 19 birthday presents (I was mad that one year).

“I have watched you blow out 693 candles (737 after tonite). I’ve told you “I love you” at least 8,285 times. And of the nearly 3.96 billion women on the planet – there is only one that I want to spend the rest of my life with.”

The pair have been married since 1997 and have to kids, Willow and Jaden. 

Of late the duo have been hit by many claims that their marriage is headed for divorce. In August Will announced to the public with a special message that he and Jada were not going to be separating and that the pair were sick of the speculation surrounding their family:

At 17, Jaden Smith already has a solid  acting career carved out, as well as success in the worlds of music and even clothing design. 

Given that the teen reportedly even sought emancipation from his parents Will and Jada Pinkett Smith aged just 15, it's clear he is no normal teen. But we were still just a little taken aback when we heard who the young rapper was currently dating.

Jaden was first linked to 21-year-old model Sarah Snyder in the early summer months, but yesterday the pair confirmed their relationship when they were pictured kissing at two separate NYFW events.

The couple were first papped looking intimate at the Gypsy Sport SS16 show at Milk Studios, before talking a romantic walk around Manhattan together.

Despite their four year age gap, the couple seemed comfortable in each other's company, with Sarah leaning in to her man for a cuddle during the show.

Later they were seen kissing again in full view of paparazzi cameras.

Prior to meeting Sarah, Jaden was linked to Hunger Games actress Amanda Stenberg, who at 16 is a lot closer in age.

The pair attended Amanda's prom together back in May, but haven't been seen together since.

As for Jaden's little sister Willow, she made headlines for all the wrong reasons last year when she was pictured lying on a bed with 20-year-old Hannah Montana actor Ray Moises.

Ray's shirtless chest and the pair's intimate position was not well received in the media, who said it was far too mature a setting for a 13-year-old to be seen in.

Their marriage has been the subject of much idle talk over the years, but it seems that Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are now set to divorce – if well-placed reports from the US are to be believed.

The pair have been married for more than 17 years and have two children: 17-year-old Jaden, a son, and their daughter, Williow, 14.

Mr Smith also has another son, Trey, 22, from his first marriage.

Together, the couple is one of the most powerful in Hollywood and has a combined fortune of some €220m.

“For Will and Jada, holding it together these past few years has been tough because their marriage has been on life support for a long time,” an exclusive insider reportedly told Radar Online.

“They’re exhausted from trying to maintain the façade of a happy union,” the source continued. “They’ve decided to pull the plug in a carefully choreographed manner, [and] agree announcing their split at the end of the summer is the right move.”

Forty-six-year-old Will is currently filming the super villain flick, Suicide Squad. In an usual move, he even took to his Facebook page last night to deny the claims – calling Jada his "queen". 

Certainly, he and his 43-year-old wife have been a gossip magazine stable for years – with their supposed infidelity, bi-sexuality and open marriage being alluded to at various stages of their union.

Prior to Mr Smith's social media post today, neither had tended to comment publicly on unsubstantiated rumour, although Ms Pinkett Smith did partially address the whispers during an interview with Howard Stern in June.

"You've got to trust who you're with," she told the US radio host. "And at the end of the day, I'm not here to be anybody's watcher. I'm not his watcher. He's a grown man."

She later added that "as long as Will can look himself in the mirror and be OK," she was fine too.

The actress herself was dogged by cheating allegations involving her Hawthorne co-star, Marc Anthony, in 2011.

Meanwhile, Will’s apparent on-set chemistry with 25-year-old Margot Robbie, whom he stars opposite in Suicide Squad, was also widely reported on earlier this year.

Then in an interview last year, he seemed to say that his marriage had died and he’s been spotted without his wedding ring too.

“They tried to fix things with therapy, [but] it’s not happening,” the Radar Online source concluded.

An additional source added: “They’re already moving on with their lives. All that’s left is the inking of the divorce papers.”

Will Smith's son Jaden Smith celebrated his 17th birthday yesterday while performing topless at the New Look Wireless festival. 

Jaden, who has followed in his parents footsteps by becoming an actor and rapper, is known for being a bit 'out there' when it comes to his fashion – but he's also garnered a stellar reputation as a weird and wonderful tweeter.

Jaden's little sister, Willow, takes after him in a lot of ways. Indeed, the 14-year-old is equally as outspoken and the pair seem to spend a lot of their time focusing on being free thinkers and disagreeing with society. 

Some of Jaden's tweets are just bizarre, but you've got to hand it to him, for a 17-year-old, he has a pretty deep understanding of life.

Did you know that Will Smith and his wife Jada are worth almost €220 million combined?

According to the latest rumours circulating about the ‘are they or aren’t they’ pair, “their marriage might as well be a business arrangement.”

Speaking with Life & Style magazine, an insider has apparently come clean about the couple’s alleged divorce.

The pair have supposedly not been referring to themselves as divorced in the media for the sake of their kids, Jaden and Willow.

Apparently though, it’s the assets belonging to the couple that is keeping them together.

Will and Jada have reportedly been in an ‘open’ relationship despite being married for 17 years. But this latest report is saying that Jada is now seriously “contemplating divorce” because of Will continuing to act like a “single man” when out in public.

The same insider is saying that in May, Jada met with a very high-profile divorce attorney in the U.S when things between her and Will hit rock bottom.

Jada is reportedly livid with Will staying out until all hours of the night with a host of different women.

This all comes just days after Jada herself spoke with Entertainment Tonight about those pesky divorce rumours.

The actress, 43, said that she’s quite realistic about the how the media works. She said in the interview “people gotta make their money and do what they gotta do, you know what I mean?”

We’re kind of rooting for these two, who have never been shy about their chemistry and love for each other, to stay together.

In the same interview the actress also added:

“Will and I love each other so much, and our family and our relationship is so important, and the fact that these stories keep coming up, you know, you’d think people would be rooting for you to stay together not to break up.”

That helps clear that up then, doesn’t it?

After her super chilled reaction to that picture of Willow, we can’t say we’re too surprised about this.

Jada Pinkett Smith, who enjoys talking about how awesome her marriage and sex life are, posted a picture of herself, which she claimed husband Will snapped. While she was sleeping. And naked. Because Jada sleeps in the nude. Because her sex life is so awesome.

She also sleeps wearing expensive jewellery, but that's for another day…

In the picture, Will is clearly lifting up the covers to get a better look, but Jada doesn’t mind, as she considers it art:

“I discovered the sexiest secret the other day. My husband takes pics of me in my sleep. He has a whole stash he revealed to me and I really enjoyed getting a glimpse of myself through his eyes. I had to share one with you guys 😉

“Life is art. Life is beauty.”

While a number of people congratulated them on their happy marraige, many posters criticised Jada for posting the picture, even going as far as accusing her of staging it.

Will and Jada really enjoy talking their sexual chemistry, admitting in the past to having sex in offices, cars and even when filming on set during their 17-year marriage.

We’re really happy for them, but do they really need to keep going on about it? And on about…?

Well, we didn’t see this one coming!

It seems Jada Pinkett Smith may be taking over from Matthew McConaughey in Magic Mike XXL!

It’s being reported that she will be playing the strip club owner – a role originally written for a man, so she must have been pretty impressive in the auditions to convince them to change the gender of the character!

We gotta say, a female strip club owner could really bring a bit of spice to the film!

Jada has played a nightclub owner in the TV series Gotham, so perhaps they saw her on that and thought she would be perfect for the part.

Either way, go Jada!
