When James Corden loves someone, he really, really loves someone.

And after spotting footage of New Yorker, Mike Yung, perform a rendition of Unchained Melody in a subway station last week, the British star was determined to track him down and have him perform on The Late Late Show.

After receiving a standing ovation from the studio audience and bringing members of the house band to tears, Mike chatted with James who could barely contain his admiration.

When asked about the impact the original footage has had on his life, Mike told James: "It's been awesome. I got to meet you!"

Ladies, the goosebumps for this one are next level.

If you didn't already know how truly loved Gene Wilder was by his peers and public, this week has confirmed it for many of people.

Following his passing at the age of 83 on Monday, millions have taken time to pay tribute to the original Willy Wonka, and it's made for some seriously spine-tingling moments here at SHEmazing! HQ.

From Coldplay adding Pure Imagination to their set-list to Stephen Fry's touching farewell on Twitter, Gene's legacy was almost unparallelled.

Remembering the impact the actor had on him personally and professionally. James Corden recalled a meeting he had with the star, and by the looks of things it's not an occasion the British host will ever forget.

Have a look at this.

Working out beside an overly enthusiastic gym bunny is one thing, but working out beside the dancer from Kanye West's Fade video is a different story entirely.

Toned beyond all belief and more taut than an elastic band, Teyana Taylor is the woman we're sure we could be if only 23-hour-a-day workouts appealed to us.

Proving that these uber-fit, super-talented people aren't all they're cracked up to be, James Corden recently gave an insight into the horror of sharing a gym space with them.

And the internet is all over it.

Clocking up more than 24,000 hits since its upload to YouTube last night, the Late Late Show host can be seen asking Teyana to dial it down a bit before becoming somewhat hypnotised by her moves.

And in fairness, who wouldn't?

For most people taking part in James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke would be actual life goals.  But for Britney Spears it seems the experience wasn’t quite the dream we’d expect it to be.

While recounting her time in the car with James for an American radio station on Friday, the Toxic singer said that cruising around Los Angeles with the British entertainer – whose name she appeared to have forgotten – was “so awkward”.

The 34-year-old told KTU 103.5FM: “It was a little awkward, like, driving by grocery stores…People walk by and there are like 18 cameras around us.  This is just so awkward.”

According to Entertainment Tonight, Britney also described how The Late Late Show host “controlled the whole thing” before jokingly discussing how sick she was of hearing Baby One More Time and Oops!…I Did It Again on repeat.

But overall the mother of two did enjoy her time with James.  She said:  “It was really fun…The guy was just so incredibly sweet.”

“I had no idea he has kids, he's a teddy bear.  I was like, ‘I just want to hug you right now’.”

Britney received a fair bit of criticism online after the segment aired on Thursday as Twitter users suggested she had mimed the lyrics to her own songs.

One person tweeted the star saying: “Britney you knew this was a carpool karaoke right?  And not carpool snapchat lipsync?”

While another said: “Goes to Carpool Karaoke.  Concept is to sing along your own songs.  LIPSYNCS ANYWAY.  The one & only Britney Spears.”

Whether it felt awkward at the time or not, it sure looked like the celebrity pair were having fun reliving Britney’s glory days dressed in those famous grey and white school uniforms.

No matter how much the movie industry might attempt to switch it up, the equation needed to throw together your standard romcom rarely changes.

Good-looking guy plus good-looking girl divided by life's challenges equals romcom success.

And, apparently, James Corden is no longer having it.

While speaking to Rolling Stone, the Late Late Show host admitted he has difficulty getting his head around the fact movie producers generally refuse to document the love story of your standard Joe.

"I could never understand when I watch romantic comedies the notion that for some reason unattractive or heavy people don’t fall in love,” he said.

Calling out the industry for the inconsistencies in their approach, James, who has struggled with his weight for most of his life, continued: "If they do, it’s in some odd, kooky, roundabout way — and it’s not. It’s exactly the same."

Using his own love story as a way to argue his point, he said: "I met my wife; she barely owned a television and worked for Save the Children. We sat down one night and we fell in love and that was it."

Who else thinks James could pen an absolute corker of a romcom?

These days, James Corden is one of the most recognisable faces in the industry.

And while he may seem like an overnight success to many, James has actually been plugging away at his TV career for more than two decades.

Long before he hit it big Stateside with The Late Late Show, the British star was honing his interviewing skills in the UK, and cut his teeth with none other than rock legend Meatloaf.

And in honour of James' 38th birthday, BBC last night released footage of a teenage James shooting the breeze with the I'd Do Anything For Love singer all the way back in 1995.

Looking ever so slightly awe-struck, a 17-year-old James, rocking classic 90s attire, chatted with Meatloaf over an English breakfast, and in fairness to him, he did a lot better than we would have fresh out of secondary school.

Ladies, this is beyond cute.

We all love James Corden and his Carpool Karaoke ways, but in this latest video, he's totally blown us away.

Coldplay performed at the Hollywood Rose Bowl last night, and frontman Chris Martin, invited James up on stage to sing with the band and pay tribute to Prince.

When James got up on stage, the crowd (93,000 people) clearly staggered him as he said: "I'll be honest I didn't know how big it was when I said 'yes' so I'm a little nervous."

However, we he started singing… his voice, it's just ah-mazing:

Happy birthday, James!

Look, we're as big a fan of Carpool Karaoke as the next person… unless that person is willing to kidnap James Corden in order to recreate the segment, that is.

And then we're officially out.

The Late Late Show's super-popular music segment has gained a global following, and it looks like some people will do anything – even break the law – for their 15 minutes with the king of the carpool.

Speaking to The Wrap, the 37-year-old British star explained that while at home in London, he was accosted by a group of teenagers who forced him to take part in their own British version of the segment.

"I was crossing the street in London a few weeks ago and there were these four kids," he explained. "They were like 18, 19. They sort of forced me to get in the car."

Having clearly ignored everything he was taught about stranger danger as a child, James went with it, and ended up having an impromptu Carpool Karaoke session with a group of randomers.

"They all had their camera phones out and we were just singing along to the radio. I was like, 'Am I being kidnapped?" he recalled.

Not exactly James, but not far off.

When The Late Late Show teased viewers with a sneak peek of this week's Carpool Karaoke, we all knew we were in for a serious treat, but NOTHING could have prepared us for the wonder that was the White House edition.

Maybe it's because she hadn't rode shotgun in over seven years, but the First Lady of the United States really brought her A-game when it came to cruising with Corden.

From Sign, Sealed, Delivered to Single Ladies, Michelle Obama did not hold back, and we are fan-girling all over ourselves here at SHEmazing! HQ this morning.

Oh, and just when we thought it couldn't get any better, Missy Elliott rocked up…

After James Corden stripped off with the Red Hot Chili Peppers and engaged in a little lawn wrestling, most of us assumed Carpool Karaoke had reached its pinnacle.

And then the First Lady of the United State of America stepped up the plate.

Riding shotgun with James in the latest instalment of The Late Late Show's uber-popular musical segment, Michelle Obama confirmed what most of us had already assumed – she is quite literally the soundest woman on the planet.

Maybe it was due to her surprisingly slick taste in music or the fact she has the Single Ladies dance nailed, but this sneak peek at Michelle Obama's Carpool Karaoke has us gnawing at our knuckles for more.

It seems comedian James Corden can do no wrong when it comes to viral hits and his latest venture with Pitch Perfect star Anna Kendrick is another absolute winner.

Appearing on The Late Late Show, Anna joined James on stage to perform an awesome musical mash-up of some very famous love songs.

In keeping with the romantic theme, the pair work through falling in love with The Weeknd's Can't Feel My Face, get married to Bruno Mars' Marry You, break up with Shaggy's Wasn't Me and eventually reunite to the classic ballad I Will Always Love You.

From sharing her workouts online to Turning Up for What, we always knew the First Lady of the United States was in a league of her own, but her latest announcement has seriously taken the biscuit.

Joining the likes of Adele, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Mariah Carey, Michelle Obama has agreed to ride shotgun with James Corden in the latest episode of Carpool Karaoke, and we are PUMPED.

Rocking up to the White House on Tuesday, the Late Late Show host took to Snapchat to reveal that he would be taking part in a very special edition of the music segment.

Looking ever so slightly starstruck, James began: "Hi, I'm at the White House today. I'm going to take a spin in a car and sing some songs with…" before good ol' MIch finished with "Me!"

Ah, lads we cannot wait!
