James Middleton has confirmed his engagement to girlfriend Alizee Thevenet. The businessman proposed in the Lake District this week.

He took to Instagram to reveal the joyous news. James posted a photo of him and Alizee, who look as loved up as ever.

He captioned the snap, “She said OUI.”

He added, “Our secret is out but we couldn’t be happier to share the news.”

The Duchess of Cambridge’s brother has been dating Alizee for over a year. They just moved in together in West London in September.

A source said, “It wasn’t until after they’d met for a drink that Alizee realised who he was — one of her friends had to tell her.”

James Middleton has confirmed his relationship with French financial expert Alizee Thevenet. The 32-year-old took to Instagram to share a loved up snap of him and his girlfriend with his followers.

The duo are sailing together in the romantic shot. James captioned the photo, “Sail away with me.”

James has been in a relationship with the 30-year-old French beauty for over a year.

Fans were delighted by the rare personal photo and couldn’t help but gush about James and his partner.

One said: “I hope this girl fully understands that she landed herself a hot man who sails and is a dog person and is willing to wear matching sweaters. I mean wtf.”

James made his Instagram account public in January, much to the public’s delight. They’ve certainly enjoyed getting a glimpse into the life of Kate Middleton’s little brother.

'I know I’m richly blessed and live a privileged life. But it did not make me immune to depression. It is tricky to describe the condition. It is not merely sadness. Iis an illness, a cancer of the mind…You exist without purpose or direction.'

'I couldn’t feel joy, excitement or anticipation–only heart-thudding anxiety propelled me out of bed in the morning,' he continued.

He details how the illness impacted his sleep, work life and relationships with his friends and family.

'I wouldn’t wish the sense of worthlessness and desperation, the isolation and loneliness on my worst enemy. I felt as if I was going crazy,' he said. 

James also shares that a year ago, he was diagnosed with ADD, an adult variant of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and that he slowly began working through his issues. 

He managed to gather the strength to speak with his doctor, knowing that he needed support. 

He also asked his GP to discuss his situation with his family. 

We're sure that James' honestly will help so many others come to terms with their own feelings of depression.

“Proud of Ella for becoming a PAT dog this year. Animals can provide a sense of calm, comfort, or safety and divert attention away from a stressful situation and towards one that provides pleasure.”

He shared photos of at least eight other dogs, among his own pet family includes a gorgeous Golden Retriever, a black Labrador, and multiple Cocker Spaniels.

Looking through his posts that offer an insight into his Scotland life, three main themes which emerge about the future Queen Consort's little brother are; animals, selfies and celebrity cameos.

James Middleton fans, we have some bad news for you… or some good news, depending on how you look at it.

Widespread reports last week that Kate Middleton's handsome younger brother had split from his girlfriend Donna Air were incorrect it seems.

The couple made a joint statement to Hello! USA yesterday confirming that they were indeed still together – and, in fact, they were bewildered by rumours of a break-up.

"Mark Twain once complained that reports of his death were exaggerated. A few days ago we were equally amazed to read the obituaries of our relationship in the national press," the couple joked.

While the pair are still an item, it's believed they did take a short break as a "cooling off period" while working through some issues. 

A source tells E! News that things have been rocky for months and that James and Donna have been "on/off" for quite a while.

However as they are currently in a good place with their relationship, they were keen to make it clear a break-up was not imminent.

"Happily, we can report that our relationship is NOT over. We are still very much a couple and have not parted ways," they said in their statement.

While they are together for now, last week The Sun quoted a source as saying James believed the couple didn't have staying power.

"He just didn't think it was going to go the distance. And I think his family were always very anti her being the future Queen of England's sister-in-law," the insider claimed.

Donna Air and boyfriend James Middleton have reportedly called time on their romance after two and a half years together. 

The younger brother of Kate Middleton and the 36-year old blonde had been together since February 2013 and there were even rumours of a possible engagement. According to the Daily Mail, Donna is same to be "more than a little heartbroken" and has been making efforts to stay out of the public eye since the break up. 

"He just didn't think it was going to go the distance. And I think his family were always very anti her being the future Queen of England's sister-in-law," a source is said to have told The Sun.

The former host of the Big Breakfast furthered rumours that the pair have gone their separate ways as she posted an inspirational message on her Instagram account that read: "Accept what is, let go of what was, have faith in what will be (even those itchy ears)."

The message was written in chalk on a blackboard at her Bikram yoga class, so that explains the itchy ears bit. 

The pair were on holiday together not long ago in St. Barths with the Middleton family and were apparently looking very loved-up in the sunshine. It is rumoured that the split happened only several days after Donna's grandmother passed away. 

While the couple were rarely spotted out and about together, of late a few choice snaps have appeared on social media.

Back in 2009 at the royal wedding, the crowds got a little bit distracted when they set eyes on Kate Middleton's stunning sister, Pippa, and it seems the same thing may have happened again.

It's no surprise that Kate would have stunning siblings, but that still didn't stop us being in complete shock and awe when we spotted her brother attending Wimbledon yesterday. 

James Middleton caught the attention of Twitter yesterday when he was spotted watching the tennis from the royal box on centre court. 

The photos from the royal christening were released this week, but it seems that baby Charlotte was completely outshone by someone else,her uncle's beard.

Sadly, James and his beard are not on the market. He has been dating actress Donna Air for two years.
