Mad Men actress January Jones never looks anything less than impeccable on screen or on the red carpet… but it wasn't always that way!

The star was obviously rooting through some old photo albums at home, as she decided to share a couple of throwback snaps from her awkward teenage years.

We are in LOVE with this snap of the star at the Miss Teen South Dakota Pageant way back when… those are some seriously puffy sleeves.

Of course, even as a lanky teen January was still ten thousand times more put together than we ever were at that age, but by God that dress is hilarious!

The photo, posted over the weekend, was captioned, "In honor of the all the pretty ladies getting dolled up for the SAG awards tonight I'm sharing my favorite red carpet look from my archives.#missteensouthdakotapageant#itstillconfusesmethatididntwin #bitter"

The star, who celebrated her 37th birthday earlier this month, also shared another sliightly more toned-down snap of her teenage modelling years:

We prefer the red dress and matching heels, tbh! She'd totally make a mint if she auctioned them off…

TV actress is pregnant with her first child!

It has been revealed that Jessica Paré is pregnant with her first child!

A rep for the Mad Men actress confirmed the exciting news to US Weekly.

This will be the first child for Jessica and her partner, John Kastner, a Canadian musician.

Jessica is famous for her role as Megan Draper in the hit show, Don’s second wife. It has not yet been revealed how the pregnancy will be played out on screen.

Mad Men famously gave January Jones a storyline in which she had put on a lot of weight in order to hide her first pregnancy with son, Xavier.

Congratulations to Jessica and John on their lovely baby news!

January Jones faces backlash over controversial Instagram snap

January Jones has received backlash over a photograph she uploaded to her Instagram account yesterday.

The Mad Men actress uploaded this picture with the caption: “I finally found it! #tbt to my first paid ‘modeling’ gig for a knitting magazine in South Dakota.”

Many of January’s followers were incensed by the image, calling it ‘racist’ and prompting the actress to remove the photo from her account.

She later acknowledged her removal of the photo, saying: “I had to swap my #tbt pics because I was receiving to many negative comments and assumptions. #thisforumshouldbeahappyandfunplaceihavenopatienceforhate.”

She’s one of the most beautiful actresses in Hollywood, but January Jones wanted to prove she was just like everyone else growing up.

The 36-year-old Mad Men actress posted a picture of herself as a kid to her Instagram account and gave her fans a giggle.

Posing next to a kitten, she wrote: ‘#tbt can’t think of a caption, sorta self explanatory isn’t it? #finallythecatthatgoeswiththehouse.’

Lately, January has been filming Good Kill alongside Ethan Hawke and Zoe Kravitz.

The thriller, which is due out in 2015, follows a family man who wrestles with his conscience when he begins to feel uncomfortable about his job as a drone pilot.

January shared this adorable snap of her and her two sisters posing for a photo on her Instagram account for Throwback Thursday.

It may be a surprise for those of us who are used to seeing January as the feminine Betty Draper in Mad Men, with her styled hair and 50s style dresses, to realise that the tomboy in the middle of the photo is actually January.

She captioned the photo: “The Jones sisters are here to remind all homely little girls to dream big.. anything is possible with the confidence to ignore judgement, encouragement from a friend, love for yourself and the patience to grow out a bad haircut. #tbt#mybangsareNOTsupposedtobefeathered.”

January then added in the comments section: “I’m the tomboy in the middle, obviously.”

Aww, we think she looks adorable and is obviously very happy judging by the wide grin which is the most important thing.
