A sneak peak at Cats, the film adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber and TS Elliot's infamous musical, has dropped and the reactions have been less than positive.

The clip offers us the first footage of the all-star casts in all their feline glory, created using motion capture techniques which director Tom Hooper (The King's Speech) refers to as 'digital fur technology'.

The incredible cast includes Oscar-winner Jennifer Hudson, Jason Derulo, Judi Dench, Taylor Swift, James Corden, Ian McEllen, Rebel Wilson and Idris Elba, who all belt our the film's anthems.

Unfortunately, the first furry glimpses of the upcoming live-action remake have left some viewers unhappy after the feline creatures were described online as 'cursed' and nightmarish.

The transmogrified CGI human-cat hybrids were unveiled last night, with the Universal Pictures film landing in cinemas on December 20 of this year.

Hamilton Tony winner Andy Blankenbuehler choreographs the movie, having worked on the 2016 Broadway revival. Lloyd Webber has also apparently written a new song for the film.

Many viewers found the mutated dancing cats to be troubling to watch. The story revolves around a tribe of cats called the Jellicles, which faces a series of challenging life-altering choices one fateful night.

Fans didn't appreciate beloved actors in CGI feline form, especially the revered cinema veteran Judi Dench:

Many Twitter users wondered why the stars didn't just wear catsuits, like in the stage show. The word 'abomination' was even used…

If it's in 3D, God help our souls. Fur-get it as soon as your eyes witness Taylor Swift as a cat wearing kitten heels.

The singer posed next to a sign plastered with her character’s name, Bombalurina, and captioned it with a simple 'Meow'. Needless to say, the post garnered over one million likes in a matter of hours.

The Delicate singer will be starring alongside James Corden, Jennifer Hudson, Ian McKellen and Rebel Wilson in the upcoming movie, developed by Working Title.

The duo took to the Golden Globes stage together to present a few weks ago, with the Luther star saying she "has got chops" and "holds her own". Damn right she does.

Elba spoke about working with the multi-talented artist;

"Taylor and I have known each other for a couple of years and we’re cool you know. She’s a good girl; she’s a great artist and she’s got a really great heart," he said.

"I’m so excited to work with her in this film, she’s going to be amazing." Obvi?

Taylor has been candidly dating actor Joe Alwyn for the last two years, maybe she'll get some acting tips off her beau?

Jason Derulo topped the charts with his new single Swalla, and now the RnB singer is taking his smooth vocals on tour. 

The star will be performing across the UK and Ireland, and will be doing two separate dates in the Emerald Isle.

On March 23, the singer will perform at the SSE Arena Belfast.

Jason will then make a return to Dublin's 3Arena on March 22.

Jason Derulo recently gave People a tour of his massive Calisfornia home, which includes 9 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms and lot of bars.

“So when you walk in the door I wanted to make sure you’re taken care of,” he began with.

Little Mix and Jason Derulo have teamed up for the girls' latest single Secret Love Song and the video has just been dropped. 

While Jason plays himself as the king of cool, the Little Mix girls look gorgeous as ever. 

The two artists performed the collaboration at the Jingle Bell Ball in December, but we had to wait another two months for the video. 

But it was worth the wait. 

The video for the pretty ballad shows the girls rocking an impressive array of coats while they stroll around the riverbank in London. 

It also features a dancing Jason Derulo, of course.

Jade Thirlwall has certainly been hot property these days. 

After being linked to Connor Ball of the Vamps and setting her sights on Nick Jonas, it would seem that the 22-year-old popstar is officially off the market as her band mate Jesy revealed that she is currently romancing American popstar, Jason Derulo. 

Following a very flirty performance on stage at the Jingle Bell Ball in London on Saturday night, Jesy Nelson revealed to the Sun that the pair are getting close. 

"She's got someone on the go. His name starts with a J … then a D."

"He's very hot [but] it's early days."

And it seems that Jason had his eye on Jade from the moment he met her. 

"He's so lovely. Really sweet. He gave Jade a little wink when we introduced him on stage. There's four of us but he looked to Jade and gave her a wink." 

Jade's band mates seem to approve of the pairing and even think Jason is more suitable for Jade than her ultimate celebrity crush, Nick Jonas. 

"Jason's a bit more manly. Nick’s a nice boy but Jason, I feel like he'd look after her. She's only little," confessed Jesy.

The revelation means that Perrie Edwards is the only Little Mix band mate currently single. Leigh-Anne Pollock has been seeing footballer Jordan Kiffin since 2013 while Jesy is engaged to Rixton frontman, Jake Roche. 

Perrie has been rumoured to have been getting back in the dating scene having enjoyed a few dates with reality star, Joey Essex. However, the 22-year-old blonde seems more than content to be single following her difficult split from Zayn Malik.

Remember when Rebecca Black first came into our lives? Do you remember how one of the most commonly asked questions was: why, Rebecca?

Well, not too long ago people were asking themselves the same question (and many more) when one Montreal based woman became a viral sensation with her Jason Derulo cover.

Her cover of his single Other Side has over 10 million views on Facebook, and people are not finished watching yet.

After a little digging around the great big internet, IX Daily managed to track down the girl from the video, or should we say, the star of the video.

Her name is Octavie and she is 21-years old. She apparently disabled her Facebook account after she realised the video had gone viral in order to come up with a plan of action.

At the moment she works for Savini, which is the restaurant featured in the video. She explained that the video was never supposed to be released.

“It was not supposed to be on the internet because I knew it was bad. So when my friends start to text me saying that they saw my video I knew it was too late, and that it became viral.”

She said they her friends were supporting her throughout the experience. They were the ones responsible for editing the footage though.

She explained that while she came up with the video’s concept, she wasn’t expecting that finished product.

“All I can say is that it wasn't supposed to be as bad as it turned out to be. I don't know what my friends did with the editing, but it all came out so wrong.”

While she doesn’t seem entirely thrilled with the finished product, she is looking at the silver lining saying that despite the negative comments it has given her “incredible visibility”.

They were one of the most loved-up celebrity couples out there during their three-year romance, but things quickly turned sour after Jordin Sparks and Jason Derulo broke up.

Following some pretty catty back-and-forth between the pair, with Jordin even publicly claiming that the BMW Jason gifted her with was actually leased, the Talk Dirty star has admitted that the gloves are off!

In an oh-so-subtle diss to his ex-girlfriend, Jason told Billboard magazine that the couple’s split is “so behind” him.

“I do get tired of playing nice. Especially when people think I did something wrong, or that she broke up with me. But it’s so behind me,” he said.

On the subject of his current relationship status, Jason revealed that he is enjoying ‘getting to know people’ right now, but Tinder is off limits for him – because he predicts that he would just be way too popular on the dating app!

“It’d be like, ‘A million new requests today!’ That’s just wrong,” said the ever-so-modest 25-year-old.

Jason and Jordin dated for three years before announcing their split almost eight months ago. Ever since, things have appeared to be far from amicable between the pair, with Jason hitting back at Jordin’s car lease claims by posting the official documents on Instagram.

Let’s hope that Jason will take the high road.

While we were all dead certain that Jordin Sparks and Jason Derulo were going to end up together, their split last September seemed far from amicable.

As well as Jason announcing that he broke up with Jordin on the phone (cardinal sin), Jordin later released a pretty epic diss song dedicated to her ex.

Now, it seems that the stars’ split has just taken a rather nasty turn after the supposed ugly truth about a gift Jason made to Jordin came to light!

During an appearance on radio station POWER 105.1’s The Breakfast Club show this week, Jordin admitted that riding around in the champagne-coloured BMW that she received as a Christmas present from Jason brought back too many memories, and when he refused to take it off her hands, she decided to return it to the dealership it came from.

But Jordin revealed that she got a rather nasty shock when she tried to return it, claiming that the car had not been purchased but rather leased out – ouch!

Needless to say, Jason was left furious after hearing about Jordin’s tale, and took to Instagram to share his side of the story.

Refuting the claims, he went on to share a copy of the bill of sale on the car, with the caption reading: “Women Lie, Men Lie, Numbers Don’t Lie! #WhyLease #BreakfastClub”.

Singer Jordin Sparks has been relatively quiet about her break-up with Jason Derulo since they cut ties in September, but that doesn't mean she wasn't angry about how things ended.

Jason has spoken openly about the split, saying there had been a lot of "pressure" and "tension," and even admitting that the break-up happened over the phone.

Now though, Jordin has made her own statement with a pretty cutting new song called How Bout Now (Remix), released online yesterday.

The lyrics blast Jason's lack of effort and appreciation for his lady, with lines like, "You suck right now, you thought the little effort that you put in was enough."

Jordin brings up different things she did for her man, dissing him for not caring about her more. "Remember I deleted all my other guys' numbers out my phone for ya?," she sings.

Another verse references a neck injury which Jason received back in 2012. "Remember when you broke your neck and I had to wash your back for ya? You probably don't remember half of the s**t that I did for ya," the song goes.

Jordin's obviously been keeping her anger under wraps, as she appeared calm and happy in interviews following the break-up. "I'm good, actually," she told the Today Show at the end of September. "I read this quote [yesterday], and it said, 'When something unexpected happens in your life, or you think something bad happens, just say 'Plot twist!' and move on."

Or… you just write a fierce song about it and move on!

Jason Derulo and Jordin Sparks took the world by surprise when they ended their relationship of three years last week.

But now, Jason has admitted how he broke up with Jordin – over the phone!

When will people learn this is not an acceptable way to break someone’s heart after so long together?! Unless you’re not going to see them for about a month or you’re an explorer in the Antarctica – just do it face to face!

Of course, everyone's relationship is different but we can't help but feel for Jordin after this admission!

Jason was appearing on a radio show Power 105 when he made the admission saying: “I wasn’t in town. It’s not like you guys think.”

Uh huh, sure Jason – were you exploring the Antarctica? Didn’t think so!

Jordin has remained silent on the break-up, but Jason has come forward numerous times since the announcement to deny rumours: “It got to the extent where it was like I got this one girl pregnant. I was like what?”

Singer Jason Derulo has spoken out about the real reasons behind his split with Jordin Sparks.

At first the star was quick to deny that there was any bad blood between the pair, but now it seems he wasn’t being 100% honest about how things ended!

In an interview yesterday, Jason took some time to address the rumours about why he and Jordin had called it quits. “I'm not one to throw my business out on the street, but I thought it was important because things are getting a little out of hand,” said the 25-year-old.

He added that “there was a lot of tension in the relationship for a lot of different reasons… There were a lot of pressures of marriage. There was a lot of arguing and stuff like that that just weighed on our relationship over time.”

In a statement to ABC news yesterday, Jason also made it clear that “infidelity, cheating or deceit played no part” in the couple’s break-up.

The couple were together for three years from 2011 to 2014, and Jason admitted that the spark had gone out in some ways.

“I think sometimes you can be in a relationship so long, it becomes a part of your life and you feel like you’re obligated. And when you start feeling obligated and you start feeling like it's something you have to do because it’s necessary, like breathing, that’s not a good situation either,” he said.

We wonder what Jordin has to say about all of this! So far the star has been keeping quiet, though she did post this heart-breaking message to Twitter a few days ago…
