Finally! Solange speaks out about elevator incident

It’s been quite a while since the infamous elevatorgate incident of the Met Gala involving Jay-Z and his sister-in-law, Solange Knowles.

Finally, Solange has taken some time to speak about the incident…kind of.

Talking to Lucky magazine, the singer called the scandal “that thing” and said that it is now behind them: “What’s important is that my family and I are all good. What we had to say collectively was in the statement that we put out, and I feel at peace with that.”

Hmm, we still want to know what happened and what would make her react in such a violent way – but it doesn’t look as if the truth will ever come out!

Singer Mya has denied ever cheating with the rapper, Jay-Z.

Rumours began circulating online that Mya was Jay-Z’s secret mistress and was responsible for the lift fight that took place between Solange and him last May.

However Mya was quick to respond to the speculation and said there was no truth to the rumours.

“Never did, never was, never will. Illegitimate, thirsty sources with no facts and that’s the ‘media’ for you-especially today. I play second to no one, pay my own bills, have my own label, own management company, rely on God only and respect myself & marriage too much for nonsense.”

It didn’t stop there as Mya also shared her opinion on those who created the rumours.

“False rumors are crafted for ratings & numbers. And miserable, unhappy people need someone to judge to deter the attention away from their own misery and feel better about their miserable lives. If they did it to Jesus, they’ll do it to anyone. God bless.”

Bey added fuel to the cheating rumours when she changed the lyrics of her song, Resentment a song about infidelity during a concert last week.

Did Beyonce hint at Jay-Z affair during an on stage performance?

We thought Jay-Z and Beyonce were good, after giving lots of PDA at the BET awards last Sunday. But the Jay-Z affair rumours are rife again, as fans are now claiming that Queen B herself, may have hinted at a possible marital affair during her Ohio concert over the weekend.

So what caused fans to think that Beyonce was having a dig at her husband? Well she changed a line in her song called Resentment from: “Been riding with you for six years,” to “Been riding with you for 12 years” – which is length of time she’s been with Jay Z (they started dating in 2002).

The song coincidentally is about a woman who is hurt after discovering that her partner has cheated on her and also includes lines: “I tried and I tried to forget this. But I’m too damn full of resentment. I know she was attractive but I was here first”.

The couple have been surrounded by cheating rumours ever since footage emerged of Solange attacking Jay-Z in a lift last May.

Jay-Z won’t be forgetting THAT elevator incident anytime soon.

Back in March, TMZ leaked footage from inside an elevator that showed Jay-Z being attacked by his sister-in-law, Solange Knowles.

However, it doesn’t look like the rapper is going to forgive and forget if this latest performance is anything to go by!

Jay-Z and his wife, Beyoncé, took to the stage for a surprise gig at last night’s BET Awards where he proceeded to slam the leaking of the footage.

The rapper can be heard blasting paparazzi and TMZ for leaking the scandalous footage in an intro before the hit song, Partition, is sung by Bey.

Yikes! We thought that this whole thing had been sorted out but it looks as if Jay-Z is just getting started!

Beyoncé and Jay Z really know how to celebrate in style, after kicking off their sold-out On The Run tour!

After a sold-out show in Miami , Bey and her hubby took their adorable two-year-old daughter Blue Ivy for a day out on the water over the weekend, aboard a luxurious 90ft tri-deck mega yacht.

WOW!

The couple made the most of their downtime, before their touring schedule kicks into high gear, as they wined and dined in the lap of luxury.

The show sees them perform a 42-song setlist and features a number of amazing costume changes for Bey – so no wonder she wanted to put her feet up for a change!

They’ve already shown video footage of their wedding and Blue Ivy’s birth – and now Beyoncé and Jay Z have pulled another shocker out of the bag during their On The Run tour!

The crowd at their latest show were apparently shown a series of mugshots, projected onto giant screens on stage – including one of pop star Justin Bieber – as Bey told fans, “Even the greatest can fall.”

After a Bieber fan posted the snap, furious Beliebers took to Twitter to slam the famous couple for being “disrespectful” and “cheeky”.

But other agreed with Bey, tweeting, “She is totally right. Respect”, and “She was proving a point, it was not an Insult”.

We wonder what Justin would think of this himself?

If anyone can pull off a fishnet leotard, it’s Bey. The star looked stunning on the first night of her On The Run Tour with hubby Jay Z, and the couple absolutely rocked it.

The power couple played to a sold out Sun Life Stadium in Miami Garden and is it just us, or were they sending out a message that there is nothing wrong with their marriage by projecting an intimate video of their April 2008 wedding day onto huge screens on stage as they closed the show with Young Forever?

Hmmm, who knows? Let’s leave the speculation for now, and just enjoy the music!

Uh oh! Things aren’t looking good for Beyoncé and Jay-Z as they gear up for their On The Run tour!

A report by Radar online has said that many of the venues on the tour haven’t sold out and that thousands of tickets are still available.

The lack of interest in the tour has been put down to two things: the impact Solange’s liftgate has had on the couple’s image, as well as lack of air play for their music.

Since Drunk In Love, Bey’s singles haven’t had the exposure they needed on the radio in order to launch a successful tour.

Thankfully for the couple, many of the venues have sold out, so perhaps things will pick up soon!

Wonder if they blame Solange?!

For those of you worried that Chris Martin and Rihanna were hooking up – fear not!

It would appear that the two met for dinner to discuss their mutual friend Jay-Z, who it would seem they are worried about.

Ever since rumours started to spread regarding the state of Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s marriage, he has reportedly cut himself off from his friends, causing concern.

According to Grazia magazine, a source said: “Rihanna and Chris met up for dinner because they are worried about Jay. Apparently he hasn’t been in touch lately, ever since his marriage problems surfaced.”

Both Chris and Rihanna are known to be close to the rapper, collaborating on songs such as Homecoming and Run This Town respectively.

Hopefully Jay-Z will get it touch with his friends soon!

Apparently, Queen Bey is refusing to have another baby with Jay-Z because of all the rumours about his cheating.

Since the elevator incident, Beyoncé is said to have been forced into seriously listening to these rumours of infidelity, and a source has said that as soon as the couple’s tour wraps up on August 6^th a split will be inevitable.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z are such experts in keeping up appearances at this stage, it’s impossible to know what to believe!

Beyoncé has let a picture speak a thousand words here, by sharing behind-the-scenes snaps of the On the Run tour rehearsal, with a pretty clear message in tow.

Bey posted the photos to Instagram with the caption, “I feel like the luckiest girl to hold a microphone. I’m grateful to be able to do what I love. Thank you. I love you.”

After all the drama in the last few weeks of elevator brawls along with cheating and split rumours in the Bey-Jay Z camp, it seems the Drunk in Love star is determined to show the world how solid the super famous couple really are!

The nationwide tour begins on June 25th in Miami and will go through the middle of August, even (eek!!) making a stop in Paris!
