While it seems that Rita Ora has been around forever, she has only in fact ever released one album and that was back when she burst on the scene in 2012. 

And now, she seems to be filling her time as a judge on popular talent contest shows such as The Voice UK and the X Factor. 

However, we may now have a reason as to why she does not seem to be doing much on the music stakes. 

According to Billboard magazine, it has been reported today that Rita has just filed a lawsuit against her label Roc Nation over claims that they are "stifling her career." 

Rita, who is in contract with Jay-Z's label until 2019, says that the company is sitting on a number of tracks that are yet to be released. 

In the suit, Rita claims to have been "orphaned" by the label after they turned their primary interests from music management to sports management. 

"When Rita signed, Roc Nation and its senior executives were very involved with her as an artist,” the complaint reads.

“As Roc Nation’s interests diversified, there were fewer resources available and the company suffered a revolving door of executives. Rita’s remaining supporters at the label left or moved on to other activities, to the point where she no longer had a relationship with anyone at the company."

While Rita is waiting to be able to release her US debut album which is apparently ready to go, she is funding all of her own projects, TV performances and shows. 

We hope this all gets sorted out so we can get some more of her catchy pop tunes on the air asap.

So, have you ever wondered how you would react if you actually got to meet Beyoncé?

We reckon there could be tears, she is a pretty big deal after all. When you add Jay-Z to the scenario then you’re even more likely to be rendered star struck and speechless. 

To be honest, we get a little bit uncomfortable just imagining the awkward moment that would undoubtedly unfold because no one is that cool. If you are then kudos to you but we reckon most of us would panic.

Which is exactly what happened to UFC champ Holly Holm. You would think the person that defeated the previous champ (and internet favourit) Ronda Rousey would keep it together.

Alas no one is safe from suffering mortification when confronted with the magical being that is Beyoncé. 

“I meet Jay Z and he says, ‘This is my wife,’ and I’m like, ‘Oh, hi, what’s your name?’ Because that’s what I do when I meet someone’s wife,” Holly explained to KRQE in Albuquerque.

“And as I’m shaking her hand, I’m thinking, ‘Why did I just say that? Why did I just say that to Beyoncé?’”

Holly was a VIP viewing party for a boxing match when she and her husband got the chance to rub shoulders with the mega-stars. 

“I can’t even focus on what he’s saying because I just put my foot in my mouth,” she explained. 

“I literally have to interrupt him. I’m like, ‘I’m really sorry,’ and I go back to Beyoncé and I’m like, ‘I can’t believe I just did that.’ She goes, ‘Oh no, it’s fine.’ I’m like, ‘No, I really, really…it’s such an honour to meet you.’”

Awks. It happens to the best of us Holly, don’t even worry about it gal.

Britney Spears's Piece of Me Las Vegas show is known to snap up a few famous faces but last nights attendees had the whole Internet freaking out.

Yes, everyone's favourite power couple came out to support everyone's favourite pop princess for her most recent Sin City performance. 

And of course the Britney and Queen Bey fans took to social media to share their excitement about Hollywood's royal couple being in attendance (Bey is wearing the black hat):

Balmain jackets, custom-made Yeezys, Dior dresses… North West and Blue Ivy Carter are most definitely two of the best dressed toddlers in the world.

The pair regularly appear on social media alongside their famous mums – Kim Kardashian-West and Beyoncé Carter-Knowles – and we've often had a hard time deciding who is cuter.

For the moment though, Blue Ivy has taken the lead, thanks to a downright adorable snap which Bey shared online yesterday.

The singer updated her website with some unseen Halloween snaps, including one of three-year-old Blue looking picture perfect in a purple dress.

The outfit, based on Rapunzel's look from the Disney film Tangled, featured two long braids attached to Blue's head with a hairband. The famous tot looked delighted as she walked through a garden in her bare feet.

In standard Beyoncé style, there was a costume change of course, as Rapunzel wasn't Blue's only Halloween look.

As previously reported, the superstar family dressed up as the cast of Coming To America last week, with Blue donning a brown and gold silk dress for her Imani Izzi costume.

Eddie Murphy's cult comedy was released in 1988, so we highly doubt Blue got the movie reference, but the family certainly looked the part – Beyoncé and Jay-Z rocked matching costumes as Prince Akeem and Queen Aoleon.

Of course, Blue wasn't the only princess on the block this year – her style rival North did look pretty cute as Frozen's Elsa, we have to admit:

Forget megadivas like Mariah Carey or Jennifer Lopez… when it comes to outrageous backstage demands; rappers Jay Z and Kanye West are WELL able to hold their own.

In fact, a just-seen list of their concert requests has now been made public, and suffice to say it all makes for some rather eyebrow-raising reading.

Jay Z, for example, likes his suite to be kept at a pleasant 21.5C – and he likes to have three €72-a-pop Mayan tuberose-scented candles from Belle Fleur lit also.

Mr Carter also dictates that staff aren’t allowed to vacuum near his room, and they’re told not to approach him to ask for free concert tickets either (although we can’t say we blame him for that one).

Meanwhile, TMZ reports Mr West like any vases present in his room to be cylindrical (yup, as you do). He also requires staff to hunt down a Genelecs 1031a speaker… a model which was discontinued a decade ago.

He furthermore likes to have minty dental floss at his disposal; requests only all-black towels and wants Kashi Go Lean cereal.

It’s not all entirely clean-living, mind: the 37-year-old husband of Kim Kardashian asks for a total of 13 bottles of booze – including three bottles of Paradis Hennessy cognac – totaling around €3,000.

Unsurprisingly, Jay Z just wants €275 Ace Of Spades champagne – although since he owns the company, he isn’t charged for the bottles (lucky him).

With Blue Ivy about, Jay asks for the entire suite to be childproofed with all corners, sharp edges, and electrical outlets all covered, and statues, lamps, and breakable objects removed. And FYI, the three-and-a-half year old only drinks organic whole milk.

We thought they were the only celebrity couple that would really last forever, but apparently we have been lied to. At least, that is according to a new book, Beyoncé: The Untold Story.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z separated for a year when the rumours that he was having an affair with Rihanna began to make headlines. 

Beyoncé and Jay started dating in 2000. Allegedly they split at around the same time that he discovered Rihanna and helped launch her single Pon De Replay, five years later.

It seems that Bey “wasn’t sure what to make of the situation,” and this new book claims she and her now husband split.

J Randy Taraborrelli, the author of the book, told Entertainment Tonight:

“They spent maybe a year apart from each other because Beyoncé just wasn't sure of what to make of the situation with Rihanna.” 

At that time Jay Z was 35, Beyoncé 24, and Rihanna was 17, and it wasn’t until a year later in an interview with Cosmopolitan that wedding rumours began about the pair when Bey said: “I did start thinking about what kind of wedding I’d want.”

While he went on to say that Rihanna and Bey are quite close now, it seems that he believes that elevator spat between Jay and Solange was a result of the alleged affair and the couple’s separation.

In May 2014 Solange was caught on camera lashing out at Jay after the Met Gala.

The surveillance video that made it to the internet and then went viral was lacking audio however, so no one seems to know what sparked the fight. Naturally, Beyoncé has declined to comment. 

According to Taraborrelli, who claims he spoke to multiple sources very close to the singer, Beyoncé told her husband that he could not attend Rihanna’s after party that night.

He did add: “I think it's safe to say the only people who know for sure what happened are Bey, Jay, Solange and the bodyguard who were in the elevator.”

Beyoncé, Jay Z, Rihanna, Pharrell Williams and Kanye West are all taking legal action against French sportswear label, EvelenParis. 

The celebs and their respective holding companies are alleging that the brand has used each of their names and likeness without their permission on garments they are selling. 

The garments in question also have their faces printed onto them as well as slogans like "Kanye is my Homie" and "Pharrell is my Brotha."

The Paris-based company retails relatively inexpensive products including jumpers, t-shirts, backpacks and phone covers – although the garments in question have all now disappeared from the brand's website. 

Almost 60 violations against the musicians are listed in the lawsuit and the high-profile group is seeking the end of manufacturing for all offending items.

They also want unspecified damages including not only legal fees but the profits made from the items that were sold too.

But the plot thickens, as this isn't the first time that the company has fallen foul on celebrities, as the lawsuit details a prior warning: 

"Even after receiving warning to cease selling the infringing goods, defendants continue to sell unauthorised products and to trade upon the goodwill associated with the plaintiffs, all for defendants' profits."

We can see a long road ahead of this one!

Oh wow! Jay Z and Beyonce have just secured a €40m Holmby Hills home… and suffice to say it is SPECTACULAR!

Owned by an unnamed British billionaire – who only bought the place last year – the power-couple are forking out around €132,000 a month in rent for the abode, which sprawls over close-to 2,000sq metres.

It furthermore has five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen, a library, a media room, an Olympic-sized swimming pool and spa and steam-room.

Outside, there are further guest and servant out-houses, an infinity pool complete with waterfall, and beautiful formal gardens. 

The Carters have, according to TMZ, signed a year-long lease. The website adds: “Jay Z and Beyonce are putting down stakes in LA, largely because they think it's a good place to raise Blue Ivy.”

As for neighbours – Hugh Hefner's Playboy Mansion and the Los Angeles Country Club are both in the locale, as is the home of talk-show host Ellen DeGeneres.

Although they shouldn't have to rub shoulders with anyone: their new home is on more than a hectare of land.

Muttering that she is expecting her second child – a sibling for three-year-old Blue Ivy – never seem far away.

Indeed, earlier this week when bikini snaps emerged of the star on a family holiday in Italy, Beyonce was hit with a fresh round of pregnancy gossip.

However, she has now answered the rumours in rather spectacular fashion: holding aloof a chilled glass of champagne.

Significantly, she has left the snap captionless, allowing the image itself to do all the talking.

The 34-year-old and her rapper husband, Jay Z, are currently on the Almafi coast (a favourite spot of theirs), enjoying time on a luxurious yacht.

Ms Knowles has been particularly candid with her holiday album too – sharing numerous snaps of her and her family during their well-earned break abroad.

As well as pictures capturing their stunning surroundings, the multi Grammy Award-winner can be seen lounging around with a floral head-dress.

Meanwhile, one black-and-white snap shows Jay gazing out at the Mediterranean Sea. And in a more recent video, she and her gorgeous family can been seen dancing around their villa while eating fruit.

With 45.7million, Beyonce remains some half a million Instagram followers behind first placed Kim Kardashian – who now boasts 46.3million fans on the social media platform.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z are house-hunting again this week, just four months after moving into a swish new home.

The couple ditched New York for a permanent home in Los Angeles back in February, but they've had a run of bad luck since then. After first being outbid on a $70m (€62.5m) Beverly Hills mansion, the superstar pair decided to rent in the area instead.

Since February they've dropped $150k (€134k) a month on a lavish mansion in Holmby Hillls… but they've already been given their marching orders.

The couple's landlord is kicking them out in favour of a mystery buyer who wants to purchase the seven-bedroom home for a cool $35.5m (€31.7m).

Bey and Jay were given the option of outbidding the buyer but chose not to, and so will have to vacate the premises in the next 60 days. 

As well as all those bedrooms, the plush white mansion has eight bathrooms, a tennis court, an infinity pool and even two libraries. It's also located within the 'Platinum Triangle' of Los Angeles’ priciest and most exclusive neighbourhoods – Holmby Hills, Beverly Hills and Bel-Air.

If they don't find a house soon, it will be back to hotel life for the couple and their three-year-old daughter Blue Ivy – they moved into a private suite in a Beverly Hills hotel in early 2015 while house-hunting.

Despite their struggle to find a permanent LA home, the superstars seem intent on continuing the search.

They've even enrolled Blue in an infant program at an exclusive, unnamed private LA school, where tuition fees are believed to be in excess of $15,080 (€14,000) a year.

She may be only three years old, but Blue Ivy Carter certainly knows how to charm an audience.

The celebrity tot joined her mum at dance rehearsals ahead of the Budweiser Made In America festival, and didn't hesitate to strut her stuff.

Proud mama Beyoncé shared some sweet Instagram snaps from Blue's debut, and we have fallen in love. Check her out mimicking Bey's chereography:

Another snap shows little Blue singing into her own microphone, personalised with Dora the Explorer stickers.

Blue's dad Jay-Z has spoken before about his daughter's love of music, saying she is her parents' "biggest fan" and loves listening to their songs.

"She does like her mother’s music—she watches [Beyoncé’s concerts] on the computer every night," he told Vanity Fair recently. 

"But my album [Magna Carta Holy Grail] came out and… she loves all the songs. She plays a song and she goes, ‘More, Daddy, more … Daddy song.’" 

Too cute.

Beyoncé came under fire earlier this month for her refusal to give an interview alongside her Vogue cover shoot, but if these recent photos are anything to go by she'd rather open up on social media instead.

BTW, we're totally in support of that decision, if it means more adorable snaps of her and Blue.

 In case you missed it yesterday, Beyoncé turned 34-years old.

To honour Queen Bey on her special day, which many are advocating should be an international holiday, friends and family had a very unique way of wishing her happy birthday.

They got together and curated a very special Beyoncé themed playlist. Not to be outdone, Bey also released a previously unheard remix of Crazy In Love on Spotify.

The Beyoncé birthday playlist came with messages from those closest to the star, including Jay-Z and Blue Ivy, because of course, and a lot of them will probably make you emotional.

Such as Jay explaining why he chose Coldplay’s track Yellow:

“’Look at the stars, look how they shine for you’… It’s us in our own world, away from work and totally lost in love.”

Kelly Rowland chose What’s The 411? by Mary J. Blige because obviously that was one of their favourite tracks to sing together when they were younger.

Then comes Blue Ivy’s pick. Her selection came last because whoever was putting this list together knew that her contribution would be the ultimate mic drop:

"Mommy you sung this to me all the time! Happy Birthday, Mommy!”

What song is she talking about exactly? Part of this World, from The Little Mermaid.

Many other celebs, and members of the ultimate fan club the Beyhive, took to social media to wish the star a happy birthday. These included Taylor Swift, Lena Dunham and Michelle Obama, naturally.
