When Cowell was questioned on Cheryl’s swift marriage to Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini. He admits like us he was surprised, but not for the same reasons.
"I'm surprised Cheryl has found someone to be with her full time as she's such high maintenance."
We’re sure he’s joking, as earlier that day he said some rather nice things about Chezza.
"Cheryl is the happiest I have ever seen her. Her new husband is a great guy."
Awww, that is quite sweet. Still Simon should probably keep his opinions on Cheryl’s love life, to himself.
Cheryl announced yesterday that she had married her boyfriend, Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini’s.
But if that wasn’t enough, it looks like the singer might be taking on her husband’s name officially.
Cheryl hinted earlier today that she may be taking on her husband’s name, after dropping “Cole” from her Twitter account handle.
The 31-year-old raised speculation that she was changing her surname, when she redirected her followers from her old account to her new one on @CherylOfficial.
Cheryl who formerly had the surname of Tweedy, took on Cole from her first marriage to footballer Ashley.
But it seems the Crazy Stupid Love singer really wants to end her ties with the past, as her previous Twitter handle has now been cleared completely of pictures and posts.
The tweet remaining on that account, was the one redirecting her followers to her new handle: “If you would like to follow Cheryl please visit @Cherylofficial.”
Cheryl also tweeted from her new official Twitter account this afternoon, thanking her followers for their kind messages.
So could Cheryl Cole become Cheryl Fernandez-Versini’s? We’ll just have to wait and see.
Cheryl Cole has moved her French boyfriend Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini into her luxury home!
The X Factor judge has only been dating the restaurant owner since April, but is totally smitten and eager to go full steam ahead with the relationship.
Jean-Bernard is said to be besotted with the pop star and is happy to move over to the UK from France, and into Cheryl’s house.
Cheryl’s last relationship was with backing dancer Tre Hollyway, who she split with last October due to the strain of long-distance travelling – and she’s determined not to let this happen with Jean-Bernard.
The star has made no secret she wants to settle down and have a family, and it seems her new beau could be the ONE!
Cheryl Cole performance on the Britain’s Got Talent finals last night didn’t exactly go down a storm.
Having taken some tips from Miley Cyrus, Cheryl showed off her twerking skills with Tinie Tempah before boy band Collabro were crowned this year’s winners.
While we think Cheryl looked UH-mazing while performing her new single Crazy Stupid Love, some viewers really weren’t that impressed!
One viewer tweeted, “Cheryl cole twerking on #BGT was painful to watch @SimonCowell can’t you come up with something new and original? Or bin off this bore fest.”
Another viewer posted on Twitter, “Everything on tonight’s #bgt was brilliant until Cheryl Cole started ‘singing’.”
Ouch!
Cheryl was even accused by some of miming, with one viewer tweeting, “V. painful performance for Cheryl Cole attempting to lip sync a really crap song on BGT. She REALLY did need Tinie Tempah there to save her!”
Some fans stood up for the star, with one saying, “@CherylCole you smashed it on #BGT welcome back 😀 😀 <3.”
Cheryl didn’t seem to be sweating her critics much as she left the show looking very loved up with new beau Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini.
Cheryl has only been dating the French hottie for around a month now, but the romance is said to be moving really fast!
Jean-Bernard is said to have been a real rock for Cheryl during comeback to the music scene.

After the pair appeared at glitzy showbiz parties in Cannes – and dined at luxury restaurant Cosy Box – they were said to be one of the ”most electric” couples at the event.
