Jennifer Aniston

Since Friends launched on Netflix at the start of this year, eagle-eyed viewers in the US have been picking up on a few mistakes that went unnoticed until now.

Some of them, like the 'Reserved' sign at the Central Perk, have cleared up things we've long wondered about – how DID the gang always get the same table without having to fight off other coffee lovers?

But other "mistakes," like this one discovered by entertainment site Recently Heard, have totally weirded us out.

Season 9, Episode 15 (The One With The Mugging) might seem perfectly normal, until you spot one GLARING error. Here's Joey and Rachel, standing casually in Monica's apartment:

The camera cuts away to Monica, then it goes back to Joey and Ra- OH WAIT:

Before you go writing to NBC to complain though, there is a very rational explanation for this impostor. Back in the days of the show's original release, when the series were only available to buy on VHS, most TVs used a 4:3 aspect ratio.

With the dawn of widescreen, we now view our shows from a wider angle, meaning we get to see a few extra centimetres on either side of the screen that would previously have been hidden.

The result? All those stand-ins that were used when Jennifer, Courteney and the gang were busy getting their make-up done or chilling in their trailers are now VERY clearly visible.

Here's another example, this time of a Monica who is most definitely NOT Monica.

We're questioning everything we thought was real life.

Yesterday an incredibly, moving story was doing the rounds on the internet.

The reason it had managed to attract such attention so quickly, was largely due to the fact that Hollywood actress Jennifer Aniston was involved.

The story about Jennifer Aniston meeting a homeless teenage mother in Vancouver appeared on Facebook and has gathered over half a million likes since.

The post also has over 46,000 shares currently.

"I was day tripping to Vancouver from Seattle and stopped in for lunch at a little cafe. From my window I saw a young…

The problem is that this charming story about Jen’s very kind act is not actually a real story.

It was actually posted to a Reddit thread five years ago. The thread was titled, "What is the nicest thing you've ever done that no one knows about?" The post was made by a user who has since deleted their profile.

The majority of the story is the same, but some parts are slightly different.

Since the Facebook page that posted the story is a just a fan account (the actress doesn't have an official page), people are almost certain that Jen is not the author of the very sweet story that was originally posted online.

Sorry, Jennifer Aniston fans.

The post had gathered so much attention that reps for Jen told The Huffington Post that she had nothing to do with the story:

"She does not participate in social media so basically what you see on fan pages is taken from articles they have seen on her.  This particular story we have no idea where it came from and has nothing to do with Jennifer."

We imagine that Jen is probably happy her fans think so highly of her, but this whole story is also just a bit bizarre.

Every marriage has its problems – even in the case of Hollywood's golden couple Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux.

The pair tied the knot in a top-secret ceremony in Los Angeles back in August, but according to Justin they are well and truly out of the honeymoon period.

Avid video game fan Justin admits that her new wife isn't exactly on board with his favourite hobby – settling down with a headset and gaming console to play his pals at Call Of Duty.

Speaking to E! about the launch of the game's Black Ops 3 release, Justin made the situation abundantly clear when he said "Wifey does not play."

While the actor admits Jen is generally "tolerant" of his gaming habits, he says she still finds the appeal hard to grasp.

"Wifey is like, 'Where are you?' she still doesn't see it as a social app," said Justin, whose voice has featured on other Call Of Duty games.

"Like, I am hanging out with my friends – technically – and she's like, 'No. You are sitting there watching a TV playing a game.' She's not understanding!"

Like any good husband, Justin does try to see things from the Friends actress's perspective, and he admits it must seem strange.

"Well, it looks weird when you walk in and they're just sitting there screaming into a headset and they're killing each other."

Yup, we can kinda see Jen's point.

Jennifer Aniston and her famous ‘Rachel’ style were coveted by many for years after she first debuted the layered look on the sitcom Friends.

But while people everywhere were lusting after her locks, Jen has admitted that she herself was not such a huge fan. In fact, she refers to the hair cut as a "big, horrible mistake."

The actress claims the famous style did not have any real staying power.

“He [hairdresser Chris McMillan] gave me the 'Rachel', which was a big, horrible mistake. I mean, it was great at the time, but it was a never-ending legacy for some reason.”

Probably because many people were massive Rachel and Jen fans, and she pulled it off very well.

“It only lasted for about six months because it just was hard to do. I loved it, but I couldn't style it on my own. So Chris also just has that way of [making me be] completely reliant on him."

Well, now we know that celebs like Jen really are just like us. Everyone knows that washing and styling your hair for the first time after a big style overhaul can be a bit tricky.

Luckily for Jen, her hair stylist has given her some pro-tips so that her at-home hair routine is pretty much foolproof.

She told Allure that Chris has trained her in the art of the blow dry and she has perfected the art of the “big round brush” blow out.

"I'll whip that out and get a really good arm workout at the same time," she said.

Linsday Lohan has officially confirmed what we have all believed for quite some time now, Mean Girls 2 does not count as a sequel to our beloved Mean Girls

However, it has become clear that the 29-year old is keen for a different sequel to go into development: Mean Moms.

Lindsay posted a screen shot of a conversation she was having with a friend earlier today about the prospect. She captioned the photo: "wow I do feel a bit late on this one haha (next step: #MEANMOMS) I'm trying to make it happen!"

One of the first things we noticed about the Instagram upload was that Lindsay did not remember why today's date was so special. We were shocked, how could she?

However, it did click once her friend sent her a picture of Cady and Aaron and that famous exchange in the film.

It’s been 11 years since Mean Girls was released and the film became a classic of sorts. It’s the film many a 00s girls can recite without prompting. Many would, of course be very excited about a possible sequel. totally stoked by a sequel.

Could it happen?

Jennifer Aniston is set to star in Mean Moms. A film based on a book by Rosalind Wiseman, who also wrote the book on which Mean Girls was based. There’s been no confirmation that Mean Moms is a sequel, but the internet has very strong feelings in favour of that happening.

Maybe Lindsay was hinting at an appearance alongside Jennifer Aniston?  Or is she trying to make another sequel happen?

We couldn't imagine ever calling Jennifer Aniston by any other name, but now that she's a married woman, could it be on the cards?

Unlike Courteney Cox's decision to go double-barrel after marrying David Arquette, Jen didn't take Brad Pitt's name for their marriage back in 2000.

And having just tied the knot with Justin Theroux weeks ago, the question of surnames has unsurprisingly come up again.

Speaking in the new issue of Vanity Fair, Jen's new husband was quick to joke about the issue – but in truth he says the pair have barely discussed it.

"I made her change both names, so she’s now Justin Theroux,” he laughed. "I don’t think it would be great if she did [change her name]. I think ‘Aniston’ is going to stick with her if she likes it or not."

In true A-list style, Jen and Justin's Los Angeles wedding was completely top secret, with guests told they were arriving for a birthday party and staff at the couple's house sworn to secrecy.

Having such mystery around the big day might have been fun for some people, but Justin says he didn't enjoy having to keep quiet.

"I wouldn’t say it was fun to plan," he told the Daily News recently. “Part of the fun of planning a wedding is telling people and we had to keep it under wraps.”

We're sure Justin managed to have some fun on the honeymoon that followed though – a week-long stay at the Four Seasons in Bora Bora, where even basic suites start at around €1,200.

Joining the newlyweds for the holiday were pals including Courteney Cox, Chelsea Handler and Jason Bateman.

"We had thought about it,” Justin said of the decision to invite friends along.

"We could just do a normal honeymoon, or we could go with some friends, keep the party going, relax, and have fun. It was really special, it was really beautiful. . . . It was a fantastic honeymoon."

Friends may have ended a whole decade ago, but fans still love re-imagining alternative endings and outcomes for the sitcom's six lead characters.

One change we're glad never came to pass though is a version of Friends WITHOUT Jennifer Aniston.

The 46-year-old actress started playing the role of Rachel Green in her mid-twenties, and while she has gone on to do plenty of film work since, it's still her most memorable part.

But last night actress Jane Krakowski revealed that it could have been her in the beloved role if things had gone a little differently.

"I, like almost every actor in the world, auditioned for Friends," Jane told E!'s Giuliana Rancic on the Emmys red carpet.

"I wish I had gotten that one. I actually auditioned for Rachel and didn't go very far."

Friends kicked off in 1994 and ran for ten years, finally ending in May 2004. With a starting salary of €20,000 per episode that soared to €890,000 per episode for each lead cast member for the final two seasons, it was certainly a gold mine in terms of TV roles.

Luckily for Jane, her big break came along just a few years later, when she landed a part in Ally McBeal as office assistant Elaine Vassal.

She later went on to play vapid actress Jenna in Tina Fey's 30 Rock, and is currently starring in the hit Netflix series Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt alongside Ellie Kemper.

All the same, Jane admitted her manager was "very sad" that she failed to swing that Friends role. Yup, we would be too.

Their recent nuptials were the talk of Hollywood: together for four years – and engaged for three – Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux should still very much be in the throes of newly-wedded bliss.

Indeed, and despite their lengthy engagement, the actors were seen to have a rock-solid union.

But the couple, who said their vows during a top secret ceremony on August 5 at their €20m LA home, have now been shaken by claims that their three-week-old marriage is OVER.

Specifically, the most recent edition of Life & Style magazine claims that Ms Aniston, 46, can "no longer fake the happiness".

A source goes on to explain that she and Mr Theroux are "fighting non-stop," and that 45-year-old Justin is simply “happier when he’s away from her than when he’s with her”.

“She can’t even fake the happiness anymore," the Life & Style source adds. "Jen is wondering if she made the biggest mistake of her life by marrying Justin."

Whether the rumour is true or not has yet to be confirmed by the couple's representatives, however, one thing does seem certain: they are currently apart – albeit for filming.

He has now begun work on his new HBO series, The Leftovers in Texas, while Jen is filming in Atlanta for Mother's Day.

Following their wedding, the love-birds had enjoyed a sun-soaked trip to luxurious Bora Bora for their honeymoon – and, unusually, they were joined by a gaggle of pals including Jason Bateman and Courteney Cox.

If true, Justin and Jennifer could lay claim to one of showbusiness's shortest marriages.

Members of that notorious group include the likes of Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries, Kid Rock and Pamela Anderson, and Britney Spears and Jason Alexander.

There just never seems to be a dull moment for Jennifer Aniston these days.

Just back from her Bora Bora honeymoon with new husband Justin Theroux, Jennifer walked the red carpet for the premiere for her new film She’s Funny That Way.

Following their surprise wedding just two weeks ago, the two took off on a tropical getaway with some of their closest friends, which included late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel.

Not only was the actress sporting a sun kissed look, she was also rocking some serious bling. Her gold and diamond wedding band was on displaying as she smiled for photographers at the premiere.

Naturally everyone wanted to ask questions about the big day but Jen was keeping the details very quiet. She spoke to E! News on the red carpet and said:

“We had the beautiful luxury of having a beautiful private moment and I’m going to be selfish and keep it that way.”

When asked how it felt to be able to call Justin her husband she added that “It feels quite natural.”

People magazine reports that onlookers commented that Jennifer “seemed almost giddy” as she was congratulated by many at the event.

The premiere marks the first public appearance for the star following her intimate wedding which took place at the couple’s home in Bel Air.

While Jen is keeping details about the big day very quiet, people are still dying to get a glimpse of the star’s wedding dress. In the meantime, we can take a moment to appreciate that Jennifer looks completely different but euqally fantastic in the trailer for She's Funny That Way.

The internet went mental over the weekend when rumour kicked-off that Jennifer Aniston's top-secret wedding dress had finally been revealed.

Sadly however, it later emerged that the gown was not connected to the actress in any way – and that it had all been a big misunderstanding.

Still, we shouldn't lose hope just yet – it seems that we may have indeed been given a sneak-peak of her wedding day attire before… on reality TV show, Say Yes To The Dress.

Say what, now!?

Yup, TMZ has done some stellar digging, and discovered an April airing of the hit show which reveals an awful lot.

In it, a bride is seen trying on options in Manhattan's swish Kleinfeld boutique – eventually weighing-up the merits of a €7,600 gown from Mark Zunino

She initially feels the price-tag is too steep until, that is, an employee reveals: "I know the dress really well – I actually picked this dress for Jen Aniston to wear on her wedding day."

She adds: "In my head, this is Jennifer Aniston's dress."

The piece in question – a sweeping silk sheath gown  – is a classic, somewhat understated creation.

It features a stunning deep illusion neckline and plunging back with buttons in silk crepe and lace, and has a chapel train and cap sleeves.

The gown is also an exclusive to the Chelsea bridal boutique. Indeed, the upmarket outlet is the exclusive stockist of pieces from the Mark Zunino bridal label, which was founded in 2011.

TMZ has now asked Kleinfeld for a comment, and the website says it is currently waiting to hear back. Mail Online approached the designer himself, to which a representative replied: "We can neither confirm nor deny that we designed the gown for Jennifer Aniston's special day.

"We can confirm that we did do sketches of wedding dress options for her."

Interestingly, LA-native Mr Zunino has already dressed Jen's BFF Courteney Cox for the red carpet.

Jennifer, 46, married actor Justin Theroux, 44, in a top-secret ceremony on August 5 at their €20m LA home. They have been together for four years, and engaged since August 2012.

Earlier this month, it was announced that Jennifer Aniston got married to her fiancé of three years, Justin Theroux.

The couple managed to pull it off, on Wednesday the 5th of August, while keeping it a huge secret from the public, with only guests being aware that it was on.

The ceremony took place in their Bel Air mansion with a host of celebrity guests present including Orlando Bloom, Emily Blunt and Jimmy Kimmel.

But besides all of that, all people really care about is what her dress looked like. So people got a bit excited when this image popped up on social media claiming to be the first picture from the wedding.

A fake Jennifer Aniston Facebook page posted a picture of a woman in an extravagant wedding dress with the caption "You have my whole heart for my whole life. #WeddingDress."

Fans went wild when they saw this picture with so many of them congratulating her on how amazing she looks and a number of news outlets shared the photo as the first shot of Jennifer in her wedding dress.

But the truth came out pretty quickly. The fact that there is no blue tick beside the Facebook name is the first indication that this was a fake and then to really confirm out doubts, the picture was found on Pinterest. Fail.

After a two-year engagement, Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux tied the knot last week in a top-secret ceremony at their home in Los Angeles.

Although the couple, who are currently vacationing with friends in Bora Bora, worked hard to keep details of their big day under wraps, now that it's over we've finally gotten the juice. Radio host Howard Stern dished on some of the ins and outs of the ceremony and after-party on his radio show yesterday, and it sounds like it was quite the wedding.

While Howard did make a speech full of "personal stuff" on the day, it's some of the other celebrity cameos that really had us smiling.

Chat show legend Jimmy Kimmel pulled a Joey Tribbiani for the special event and stepped in to officiate proceedings. He apparently did "a beautiful job," though Howard joked that things were a little touch and go.

"Jimmy was the preacher. I didn’t think he’d get through it. Jimmy’s still depressed about that lion getting killed over in Africa," Howard said, in reference to Jimmy's emotional speech about Cecil the lion on air last week.

As for the music, there was no boring wedding band or soppy DJ playing The Power of Love for Jen and Justin. Instead they asked Australian hitmaker Sia to perform live for their first dance as husband and wife.

If you were hoping for a few leaked photos of the performance from careless guests, don't get your hopes up, because Howard revealed that everyone (including him) had their phones confiscated once they entered Jen and Justin's property. Last week it was also reported that all staff working at the wedding and on the property had their phones taken away for a full week leading up to the big day.

"Why can’t I have my cell phone? I don’t want to take a picture of you two! I really don’t,” Howard complained on air yesterday. “I want my cell phone so after I make this speech I can call my car and get the f*** outta here! People were laughing at my misery."

Less than 24 hours after their wedding, the newlyweds boarded a Gulfstream V private jet and headed to the lavish Four Seasons resort on Bora Bora with pals including Jimmy Kimmel, Jason Bateman and Jen's maid of honour Courteney Cox.

Suites at the luxurious resort start at around €1,200, and guests can choose between over-water bungalows or villas located on a private section of beach.

The couple were "were giddy to have pulled off an amazing wedding celebration with their friends," a source told PEOPLE magazine. "They want the celebration to last as long as possible."
