Jessica Alba was the epitome of natural beauty as she officially launched her new collection of beauty products last night. 

The 34-year-old actress revealed her new line at the Trump SoHo Hotel in New York. 

She wore a stunning pink-hued lace dress with a white slip underneath and teamed the frock with bright pink pointed-toe heels. 

Jessica swept her hair back so she could showcase her new make up. 

The actress posted a photo on Instagram, telling fans exactly which of her beauty products she was wearing. 

She said in the post, "my look – Heather Mauve Eye Shadow Trio, Playful Kiss LIp Gloss, Truly Thrilling Cream Blush, Truly Lush Mascara."

The mum-of-two is clearly her own best form of advertising since her net worth is $340m (€303m) thanks to her business ventures. 

The Fantastic Four star founded The Honest Company in 2012, with only 17 products. Skip ahead three years and the business now sells over 120 items that are stocked in more than 4,000 stores across the United States and Canada. 

While Jessica insists that her products are totally natural, her company was hit with a high class lawsuit earlier this month which challenged the assertation that the products are chemical-free. 

John D. Rubin claimed that Honest actually sells items that contain unnatural ingredients. 

Jessica defended her company by saying the allegations are "baseless and without merit".

Jessica Alba has spoken out about the multi-million dollar lawsuit that has been filed against her company, Honest Company.

The actress, 34, says that the allegations of mislabelling several of their eco-friendly products are “baseless and without merit”.

She founded The Honest Company which promotes itself as a company which offers products such as soaps and other household items as being made with only natural ingredients.

Jessica owns between 15 and 20 per cent of the firm which is valued at close to €1 billion.

In a statement posted by Business Insider, Jessica said:

"I started The Honest Company to develop safe and effective products not just for my children, but for families everywhere.

Our formulations are made with integrity and strict standards of safety, and we label each ingredient that goes into every product—not because we have to, but because it's the right thing to do."

She continued that she knows her children Honor and Haven “are growing up in a safer home because of our products.”

Jessica’s company faced backlash earlier this summer when customer took to the internet to highlight how their children faced terrible sunburns despite using the company’s sunblock.

At the time the company said their productive was not defective, rather that it was “effective and safe for use as an 80 minute water-resistant (FDA's highest rating), SPF 30 sunscreen lotion in accordance with FDA regulations when used as directed."

It's not often we hear a celebrity being honest about exactly what it takes to get their body looking camera-ready, so we were delighted when Jessica Alba did just that.

When she's not on set, the Sin City actress is busy at the helm of her self-founded business, an eco-friendly baby product supplier called Honest Company, with a net worth of just under €1 billion.

Add all that to being a mum to two daughters aged six and four, and it's a wonder Jessica has any time to exercise at all. But looking as good as she does is no easy task, and the actress opened up about her fitness regime and her favourite forms of exercise for the newest issue of Shape magazine.

"I love taking classes, because I'm surrounded by other people and that keeps me motivated and accountable," she said. "These days, I do power yoga with light weights in a 105-degree [40 degree Celsius] room, so it’s a mix of hot yoga and strength training. I also spin."

Don't panic though, as Jessica admits she hates going to the gym just as much as the rest of us. "I'm not going to lie. Working out sucks," she told the magazine.

"I have to break a sweat or I don't feel like I've gotten anything done… The key for me is good music, like 2 Chainz, Lil Wayne, Rihanna, Jay-Z, and Beyonce."

With a hectic schedule, the star says she doesn't always make it to the gym, so she has a back-up plan in place. "When I only have 30 minutes, I'll do a series of burpees, mountain climbers, squat jumps, planks, and a few sun salutations," she explained.

Posing in a series of bikinis and beachwear for the magazine's cover shoot, Jessica admitted she hasn't always been body-confident.

"I wasn't truly confident about my body until I had my daughters, Honor and Haven," she said. "I felt more comfortable in my own skin after they were born. Plus, if I want them to be happy with their bodies, I need to walk the walk."

In same post, the Australian mother-of-one says her diet is “all about balance,” and signals that she follows the 80/20 rule: eight times out of ten she’s strict with her food intake, but she allows for treats and indulgences the rest of time. Kelly Rowland, Rosanna Davison, and Jessica Alba are all also fans of a similarly balanced approach.

Miranda furthermore keeps in shape with regular gym and yoga sessions.

The Louis Vuitton show was held in the desert at Palm Springs. A total of 500 A-listers, including Kanye West, were wined and dined at the glittering event.

And in another sign that California is back on the fashion map, Louis Vuitton is the third major luxury brand this year to hold a show in the state: Tom Ford and Burberry have already showcased there.
