These celebs are tipped to replace Kevin Hart after Oscar controversy
Kevin Hart has officially stepped down as host for the 2019 Oscars.
The move came as Kevin had made "insensitive" comments towards the LGBTQ community in the past.
The 39-year-old announced the news on Twitter, but now we are wondering who will replace him?
I'm sorry that I hurt people.. I am evolving and want to continue to do so. My goal is to bring people together not tear us apart. Much love & appreciation to the Academy. I hope we can meet again.

In a statement, he wrote: "I have made the choice to step down from hosting this year's Oscar's….this is because I do not want to be a distraction on a night that should be celebrated by so many amazing talented artists."
"I sincerely apologize to the LGBTQ community for my insensitive words from my past."
Kevin was announced as host of the star-studded night on December 4, but now the Academy is on the hunt for a new famous face.
I have made the choice to step down from hosting this year's Oscar's….this is because I do not want to be a distraction on a night that should be celebrated by so many amazing talented artists. I sincerely apologize to the LGBTQ community for my insensitive words from my past.

Rumours are circulating for who will step-up and host the ceremony, and there's plenty of choice for the Academy.
However, getting the right person or people are crucial for the awards as the Hollywood Reporter have indicated that ratings have been on a downward spiral.
In 2017, ratings fell by 19 percent – eek.
Sooo…potential Oscar hosts:
Key & Peele
Hasan Minhaj
Hannah Gadsby
Whoopi Goldberg
Ali Wong
John Leguizamo
Queen Oprah Winfrey— Rebecca Theodore-Vachon (@FilmFatale_NYC) December 7, 2018
But a right host could draw those much needed numbers.
Amongst the hopefuls are Key & Peele, Hasan Minhaj, Hannah Gadsby, Whoopi Goldberg, Ali Wong, John Leguizamo and Oprah Winfrey – to name a few.
A duo of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler have also been tipped for the job, as well as Ellen Degeneres.
Personally we'd love to see Oprah on stage, giving it her all – who would you like to see?
