The fans of I’m A Celebrity went into a totally meltdown last night and began angry claims that the show is fixed. Following one unfortunate Bushtucker Trial that involved some ‘deadly’ crabs, viewers were less than pleased with what they had seen.
Jorgie Porter, Brian Friedman and Lady Colin Campbell had to take on a mud crab and snakes in the challenge on Friday, however, despite the claims of the dangerous nature of the crabs some viewers discovered something slight off about the challenge.
"Not fair on the crab, its got it's claws restrained. That's cruel to the animal," one user wrote after spotting the crabs on screen with their claws bound.
A close-up had revealed that Jorgie and other challengers would not actually be in any danger from the crabs because their sharp claws were in fact tied together.
Fans immediately took to social media in order to draw attention to the ‘fix’. They were less than pleased.
"What's the point of putting a mud crab in when it's claws are immobilised?" asked another view. More took to Twitter to call the show a 'fix':
"Absolute fix. Poor show #AntandDec the winners weren't even drinking their shots properly. Just throwing them down their torsos."
Viewers were also less than pleased when Vicky Pattison was dunked in the splash pool despite the fact that she won her part of the live trial.
When Ant and Dec mistakenly announced her fate eagle-eyed viewers were quick to spot the second slip-up of the evening.
The pair were forced to apologise live on air after the supposed mix up.
Meanwhile, Made In Chelsea star Spencer Matthews left the reality competition and has since become the focus of some serious speculation.
The Mirror reports that his abrupt departure is a result of a “secret steroid addiction”.
In a statement he explained: “My admission to the production team that I was still taking these pills led to the conclusion that it would be unsafe for me to stay in the jungle- a decision which I found extremely hard to stomach.”
He admitted that in the run up to a charity boxing match, which “ironically never took place” he had started taking the supplements to bulk up.
He added: “Taking these pills was a serious error of judgement, which I hugely regret.”
