The lad from Charlie & The Chocolate Factory is looking WELL
First Sam from Love Actually, and now Charlie Bucket… it seems to be the week for our childhood film favourites to come out of hiding.
After finding fame in 2004's Finding Neverland aged just 12, Freddie Highmore made it big a year later with the lead part in the second film adaptation of Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Since then he's had a fairly strong acting career, with roles in The Spiderwick Chronicles, The Art of Getting By and the grim TV series Bates Motel.
However we hadn't realised just how much Freddie had grown up until we saw the cover shot from his new shoot for Attitude magazine. Charlie Bucket is now 23, and ladies, he's not half bad.
If you can forgive the murderer eyes – his Bates Motel character is a fledgling serial killer – there's no denying Freddie has aged very well indeed. Here he is just last year not looking quite so sultry… it's amazing what a good haircut can do:
If that wasn't enough 'Where Are They Now' eye candy for one day, here's a brand new outtake from Joseph Sinclair's recent shoot with the same magazine. Neville Longbottom scrubs up well, doesn't he?
You're welcome!
