Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has spoken about THAT kettle bell incident
Two months ago Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon on the UCLA college campus.
The 45-year old had an altercation with his son’s football coach and attacked the man with a kettlebell.
It was reported the music mogul was on the campus to watch his son, Justin Dior Combs play. The 21-year old was seen shortly after the attack getting into an SUV and leaving the scene. E! Online had reported at the time that bail was set at €140,000.
On Monday, the rapper took a moment to speak about the incident. In an interview with Power105’s The Breakfast Club he explained his behaviour:
"When you have a child that plays sports, you're actually giving your child up to those coaches."
He went on to add that as members of the Combs family, his sons have to “be able to take a lot.”
“But I think there's a fine line, too, and I think that there's times when you have to just communicate and find out what's going on and be by your children's side."
At the time of the assault, his rep said that “any actions taken my Mr. Combs were solely defensive in nature to protect himself and his son.”
On Monday he admitted that as of now, he is not sure if he is permitted to visit the UCLA campus and watch his son play.
He also went on to add that he believe the incident was a result of “miscommunication”.
“It was just a miscommunication. Anybody can relate to if you feel like you have to go and straighten something out for your child."
