Johnny Galecki has already hit a major milestone recently; The Big Bang Theory is airing it's final episode in a matter of weeks after being on air for an incredible 12 years.

The actor has announced some exciting news on Instagram; his newest role will be as a dad. He took to the social media site to announce that himself and girlfriend, Alaina Meyer, are expecting their first child together.

Galecki wrote alongside an adorable image of himself and his girlfriend;

“We are absolutely over the moon to announce that we will soon be welcoming a little one into this crazy and wonderful world.

“We ask that you please respect our privacy during this celebratory time for us and our families. There truly is love out there for all. We hope ours is the ember of yours, as we feel yours is the ember of ours.”

Judging by how smitten Johnny and Alaina look together, we could be hearing wedding news sooner rather than later.

Congratulations to the delighted pair. It definitely seems that as one door closes for the actor, another one opens, and it's even more exciting.

If you thought Prince Harry getting down on on knee over a roast chicken was the cutest engagement story you've heard this year, we've just found a contender.

And it comes in the form of Kaley Cuoco's reaction to her boyfriend, Karl Cook's proposal.

In a video uploaded to Instagram earlier this morning, the Big Bang Theory actress can be seen in floods of tears as she tries to get her head around the fact she's engaged.

Clearly overwhelmed, the actress had to be reminded to reply to the big question after dissolving into tears.

"Well after nearly two years I finally got up the courage to ask her to marry me. This is the best night of my life and I think the video shows it is the best night for kaley as well," Karl wrote in a caption alongside the video.

Sharing the same video on her own account, Kaley wrote: "Still crying. every part of this night has been perfection just like you @mrtankcook I love you forever!"

Karl went on to share a shot of the ring he chose for his wife-to-be, writing: "I am so so so happy."

"Thank you @nadis_diamonds for making the greatest ring I could hope for. Absolutely brilliant. Thank you thank you."

In the aftermath of the proposal, Kaley and Karl shared their first dance as an engaged couple, and we'll be honest, the romance is nearly sending us over the edge.

"In life, there is nothing like dancing right after getting engaged," Karl wrote alongside the footage.

"The purity and grace of the moment are inexplicable, it is truly as though life were a balloon bouncing on the smoothest zephyr. Honey; all I want is to be a balloon bouncing, bobbing, and flowing through life together. You are my everything."

And yes, we ARE crying. What of it?

If social media is anything to go by in the last two days, hell hath no fury like an American scorned on July 4th.

And while we're pretty sure most people found Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston's July 4th celebrations more inappropriate than Kaley Cuoco's Independence Day slip-up, that hasn't stopped the Big Bang Theory actress from dropping to her knees and grovelling like there's no tomorrow.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, the popular actress paid tribute to her country by sharing a snap of her three pets chilling out on an American flag, and people are NOT happy.

"Thank you @the_pet_handler for taking care of the squad while im out of town! 4th of July pups!" wrote Kaley in a move which Instagram users have deemed inappropriate on so many levels.

"Showing disrespect for the flag, it should never touch the ground, or let your pet stand on it!" wrote one while another remarked: "That's not a towel. I believe in the right to burn the flag in protest as long as it's in context, that's why so many people gave their lives, for freedom."

"But this is not that, this is simply disrespectful," they added "That's a flag. A symbol of what people have sacrificed for."

Acknowledging her major misstep, Kaley swiftly deleted the offending image before replacing it with heart-shaped stars and stripes snap.

She called off her marriage just two months ago, but Kaley Cuoco is already taking decisive action to erase all memories of the past.

The actress set about "righting wrongs" yesterday, heading to a tattoo parlour in Los Angeles to have a very meaningful tattoo covered up.

Her inking, a set of roman numerals which represent the date of her wedding to ex-husband Ryan Sweeting, is now covered up by a large moth tattoo.

During the work-in-progress, Kaley posted a snap to Instagram thanking tattoo artist Justin Nero for his work and adding, "Note to self- do not mark your body with any future wedding dates  #under30mistakes #donttakeyourselftooseriouslykids."

Kaley's tattoo, which sat at the nape of her neck, marked her New Year's Eve wedding to tennis pro Ryan back in 2013. At the time the newlyweds got matching inkings, with Ryan's still visible on his wrist alongside Kaley's name in large script.

The couple ended their 21-month marriage in September after almost a year of speculation in the media that something was amiss.

According to various sources, Kaley's decision to end things was spurred on her her husband's addiction to prescription painkillers, which started when he injured his back shortly after getting married.

"She supported him, but she said he couldn't make the commitment to get sober," a source told Us Weekly last month.

"He'd tell her he was working on it, and instead go get wasted."

Meanwhile, Kaley has been busy fending off claims that her increased closeness to actor Johnny Galecki was the reason for her split.

The pair, who star together on The Big Bang Theory, dated back in 2008 and still remain good friends.

Just last month, they took to social media to insist they were just good pals.

But a new snap of Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki looking flirtier than ever has us thinking we're not quite getting the full story.

The Big Bang Theory co-stars, who did date back in 2009, were partying together in Los Angeles on Saturday night – and no doubt a few eyebrows were raised when Johnny posted this selfie to Instagram:

"Hilarious night out in the LA Arts District w/@normancook #BFFsbite," the actor wrote alongsid ea picture of him biting a laughing Kaley on the neck.

The pair are both free agents these days, after Kaley filed for divorce from her husband Ryan Sweeting back in September.

It's thought the couple's shock split was related to Ryan's addiction issues, in particular his dependence on prescription painkillers – something which only became an issue when he injured his back shortly after their December 2013 wedding.

With an estimated worth of €37million, it's no surprise Kaley Cuoco was keen to get a pre-nuptial agreement before her ill-fated marriage to Ryan Sweeting.

But splitting up a marriage is never going to be as easy as following the rules of a contract… or so Ryan believes.

The former tennis pro, who has assets worth around €2million himself, is said to be seeking 'spousal support' from Kaley, after the couple confirmed their split last month.

Ryan filed the claim last week, three weeks after Kaley filed for divorce.

Generally with a pre-nup, a divorce can go through quite quickly, but with Ryan's new request for financial support, the process could take a lot longer.

It's thought the couple's shock split was related to Ryan's addiction issues, in particular his dependence on prescription painkillers – something which only became an issue when he injured his back shortly after their December 2013 wedding.

Barely three weeks after confirming her divorce from Ryan Sweeting, Kaley Cuoco has taken to Instagram to address some other romance-related rumours.

The actress didn't mince her words with a post yesterday that flat-out denied there was anything going on with her Big Bang Theory co-star Johnny Galecki.

"Me and @sanctionedjohnnygalecki are just the best of buds- Leonard and Penny will just have to suffice!!!"

As well as having an on-screen romance for The Big Bang Theory, Kaley and Johnny did date back in 2008 and 2009 – but she swears they are just friends now.

Johnny echoed the sentiment with a similar – and equally blunt – Instagram post.

"No scandals / home wreckers / pregnancies here, y'all. Just profound friendship," he wrote.

Various reports of late suggested that Kaley and Johnny's growing closeness had fuelled her split from Ryan, who she married less than two years ago.

Although she has yet to speak about the split to the media, and official statement from Kaley and Ryan's reps said they had "mutually decided" to end things.

Just days before the break-up, Kaley spoke happily about how well herself, Johnny and Ryan got on, saying there was no awkwardness.

"He [Johnny] is one of my dearest friends and Ryan loves him. Johnny loves [Ryan]," she said. "I got lucky."

Big Bang Theory actress Kaley Cuoco was due to mark her second wedding anniversary in just a few short months, but this evening she confirmed it was all over.

Kaley and her husband Ryan Sweeting revealed they were getting a divorce in a joint statement, saying they had "mutually decided" to end things.

The pair said they would be issuing no further statements and asked for privacy from the media.

Though it seems fans will have to wait a while for a tell-all interview, Kaley did give some indication as to how she was coping this evening, posting a telling picture to Instagram with the hashtag #mood:

Rosé and puppy hangouts… the perfect cure for a broken heart. 

In a standard break-up move, Kaley has already deleted all pictures of herself and Ryan from her Instagram, which she runs under her dog's name, Norman Cook.

She's also unfollowed all Ryan's social media accounts, though as of now he's still mentioned in her Instagram bio:

Kaley and her now-estranged husband married on New Year's Eve 2013 after a whirlwind romance, getting engaged just three months into their relationship.

Despite the speed at which things moved, Kaley seemed content in the early days of the marriage, even joking about how things must look from the outside.

"It sounds so slutty, but it wasn't," she told David Letterman.

"We met on a blind date… We texted a little bit, dinner was great, and then he moved in the next day."

Back in May, Kaley took to Instagram to fend off rumours that things were rocky for her and Ryan.

"[A]ll of you who take it upon yourselves to trash our marriage, daily workings of our relationship and everything in between, go ahead and keep doing it, cause it only makes us stronger," she wrote.

"I'm so proud of his [Ryan's] passion and his inner strength to fight back, but most of all I am proud to be his wife."

Star of the Big Bang Theory Kaley Cuoco Sweeting looks amazing on the cover of Shape magazine.

The 29-year-old looks incredibly toned and tanned in her spread. However, this is one celeb who isn’t afraid to poke fun at herself and reveal what really happens behind the scenes at this oh-so glamorous photoshoots.

She took to Instagram to show off that fabulous body of hers up close and personal.

She posted a photo showing off her intense tan lines with the caption: “everyone knows I love a tan line #btw #nofilter.”

Kaley has obviously never met an Irish person coming back from their holidays because we honestly thought tan lines were universally irritating.

That wasn’t the only zoomed-in snap the actress shared with fans. She also took the time to show us all a real behind (that pun though) the scenes shot of her in that royal blue two piece.

While it looked it was all fun and games for the actress, she was also serious about the hard work she puts into her fitness regime. She posted a shot of her cover and noted that “Hard work pays off.”

Her killer body is obviously a reflection of her healthy lifestyle which she noted has had to adapt as she’s gotten older.

“I've had to change my food intake. My husband, Ryan, eats so much… We got into this habit we called the bedtime snack. The drawers next to the bed were filled with candy.”

The tennis-player and Kaley married in 2013, but since then have clearly opted to adopt some healthier foodie habits.

“Our refrigerator and pantry have completely changed, because we don’t eat crap anymore. No more soda, chips, cereal; we had boxes of stuff that only a 4-year-old would eat."

We can imagine that it’s pretty exhausting to be actress Kaley Cuoco. As well as being one of Hollywood’s top actresses, she seems to find herself at the centre of crazy rumours on a weekly basis.

The latest reports have deviated between her being pregnant, and divorcing husband Ryan Sweeting, so the Big Bang Theory star decided to tackle them head-on via Instagram this weekend.

The 29-year-old posted a tongue-in-cheek photo montage of herself and Ryan looking very cosy indeed, quite literally laughing off the rumours in the photo’s caption.

Those pesky ‘sources’ should be silenced after reading Kaley’s accompanying hashtags; ‘rumours’, ‘not pregnant’ and ‘totally married’.

So there you have it, from the horses’ mouths!

Kaley and professional tennis player Ryan began dating in 2013, going on to get engaged just three months later, in September. The couple went on to exchange vows in front of family and friends on New Year’s Eve of 2013, with Kaley wearing a pretty pink gown for her big day.

Kaley Cuoco is usually snapped looking fairly picture-perfect, so we were left a bit confused by her most recent selfie!

The Big Bang Theory actress and her co-star Johnny Galecki posed together for a snap during a break from filming, but they looked more like they'd be out all night partying than actually working.

The pair both had unusually messy hair, with Kaley's pixie cut sticking up from all angles and no visible make-up except for some leftover eyeliner under her eyes. Very classy!

Kaley posted the photo on her second Instagram page, which she has named after her dog Norman. Cute! The picture was captioned, "@sanctionedjohnnygalecki and I working hard today. We need hair and makeup. Badly."

Wonder what they'd been getting up to pre-photo!

Later in the day Kaley posted a cast shot of the whole BBT gang, with her and Johnny looking decidedly more groomed:

At last night’s People’s Choice Awards, Kaley Cuoco was over the moon to win Favourite Comedic TV Actress and took to the stage to thank her fans and her co-stars. However, she completely forgot to thank someone very special in her life – her husband!

Obviously distraught at this, Kaley thought of a way to fix it and got her ex-boyfriend Johnny Galecki to do it for her!

When The Big Bang Theory cast took to the stage to accept the award for Favourite Network TV Comedy, Johnny reached out to Kaley’s husband Ryan, saying: “Hey, just real quick, I’d like to take a brief moment, because Kaley forgot during her speech to thank her husband, Ryan. You are my heart, and I can’t imagine what I’d be without you.”

We love it! It looks like Johnny and Ryan are not the awkward exes many would be!

Johnny and Kaley dated for two years until 2009 and Kaley married Ryan in December 2013. It looks like Johnny saved Kaley from an awkward car journey home…
