Reports are stating that Pete Davidson and Kate Beckinsale are officially OVER after circa four months of dating.

We're heartbroken simply because their relationship created possibly the greatest photo/meme that has circulated the internet. Periodt.

The duo met at a Golden Globes after-party and were all over each other in public ever since.

They may have traumatised Antoni for life, but at least the SNL star and award-winning actress have apparently stayed friends since calling it quits.

“They're still friendly but are not on romantic terms,” the source told Entertainment Tonight.

Meanwhile, People is out here reporting slightly different news, with a source saying that Pete and Kate are technically still together, but they’ve slowed down a lot;

“Pete and Kate got super serious very fast, but they’ve decided to slow things down a bit,” the source explains. “They’re still dating as of now.”

Page Six reported when the pair met; “They were flirting all night and sipping champagne. They were outside on the patio and left together." Since then, we've been blinded by PDA pics.

Not anymore, folks, their kissing reign has been dethroned.

Rumours have been floating about that actress Kate Beckinsale has found love with comedian Pete Davidson. 

The pair were first spotted hanging out at a Golden Globes after-party in January, before being papped last week smooching at a hockey game in New York.

'Anything else going on? Not like, a new girlfriend situation, Pete?"' Colin asked.

To which Pete responded: 'Oh yeah! Apparently people have a crazy fascination with our age difference, but it doesn’t really bother us.'

'But then again, I'm new to this.'

Drawing attention to the fact that men often have age gap relationships with younger women, he continued: 

'So if you have questions about a relationship with a big age difference, just ask Leonardo DiCaprio, Jason Statham, Michael Douglas, Richard Gere…'

The escalating rumoured romance now seems confirmed, as the new couple shared a smooch at a hockey game in New York this weekend.

Pete recently struggled through a very ,messy and public break up from fiance Ariana Grande. The influx of scrutiny caused him to delete his social media platforms and focus on his work. 

Kate has been fielding criticism on her own social media platforms for her choice to date the Saturday Night Live comedian. 

'Disappointed in your dating choices,' one user commented on one of her Instagram selfies, to which she responded: 'Fairly let down by your wonky beard but thought rude to say.'

The 25-year-old Saturday Night Live comedian was a guest at a Netflix party on Sunday, where one source claims he flirted up a storm with Beckinsale before leaving with her.

Neither celebrity has commented on the media speculation, published by Page Six, until today, when Kate had a sassy exchange in the comments section of Instagram.

Kate Beckinsale has hit out at the unattainable expectations put on young women when it comes to the shape and size of their own bodies.

During a recent interview on US talk show, Chelsea Handler, the 44-year-old actress spoke about the advice she gives to her 18-year-old daughter, Lily.

“Now you’re supposed to have…a ridiculous ass and ridiculous boobs and a tiny waist and everything else.

“And it's this sort of unconscious way of controlling women to distract them into a kind of self-loathing.

“And meanwhile a lot of political s*** is happening…. maybe we can’t have abortions anymore, that sort of thing.”

Kate then reffered to Susan Faludi's book, Backlash: The Undeclared War Against American Women, revealing that she had urged her daughter to read the award winning title that argues the existence of a media driven "backlash" against the feminist advances of the 1970s.

“She talks about how when, politically, women make big strides it seems to always happen that the fashion becomes for a completely unattainable body type,” she said.

“It’s a sort of unconscious way of controlling women to distract them into a kind of self-loathing. You get the vote, but it means … you can’t have any boobs”.

She added that “the more we get sucked in and concentrate on our own a**, the more stuff can happen to us”.

The actress also spoke openly about the close relationship she shares with her ex, Micheal Sheen, saying both of them were entirely devoted to raising their daughter together.

Kate and Michael were together for eight years before they eventually went their separate ways in 2003.

Micheal is currently in a relationship with American comedian, Sarah Silverman, while Kate is rumoured to be dating 21-year-old Matt Rife.

Kate Beckinsale’s husband, Len Wiseman, filed for divorce on Friday after 12 years of marriage.

The director cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason behind the application.

According to TMZ, both Len and Kate have waived any right to spousal support, which may suggest that a prenup had previously been signed.

Late last year, sources close to the pair revealed they had been separated for several months as pictures of Len with model CJ Franco began to surface.

Reports from the time suggest that both Len and Kate had stopped wearing their wedding rings.

The 43-year-old actress met the Underworld director in 2003.  They tied the knot the following year in Bel Air, California, just months after Len's first divorce was finalised.

Len and Kate have no children together, but Kate has a 17-year-old daughter named Lily from her relationship with actor Michael Sheen.

Whether we like it or not, Hollywood can be one hell of a superficial place – something which Kate Beckinsale reminded us of during a recent interview with Graham Norton.

Appearing on the Corkman's chat show over the weekend, the British actress admitted that while filming Pearl Harbour in 2001, her talent as an actress was much less important than the emphasis which was placed on her physical appearance.

Opening up about her first meeting with director Michael Bay, 42-year-old Kate joked: "I think he was baffled by me because my boobs weren't bigger than my head and I wasn't blonde. I don't think I fit the type of actress Michael Bay had met before."

Admitting that securing the role hinged one particular condition, Kate continued: "But [I] was told that if I got the part, I'd have to work out. And I just didn't understand why a 1940s nurse would do that."

And the scrutiny didn't stop there either, ladies.

Telling Graham and the audience that her director made a point of categorising her looks on each and every press junket, Kate explained: "When he was asked about me, he'd say, ‘Kate wasn't so attractive that she would alienate the female audience.’”

"He kept saying it everywhere we went, and we went to a lot of places," she added.

We know what we'd have like to have done to him…

We have learned by now to take a lot of the crazy things Sarah Silverman comes out with as a joke, but the actress and comedienne had us gearing up for a mega celebrity feud with her latest Instagram post.

Sarah, who is currently dating actor Michael Sheen, appeared to take a rather nasty dig at Michael’s ex, Kate Beckinsale, in her latest Instagram post.

Sharing a picture of herself in front of a big screen featuring Kate’s face, the 43-year-old wrote: “I can’t believe my boyfriend ever dated this PIG.”

Before you jump to conclusions though, Sarah’s Instagram post was all in the name of comedy!

Indeed, Sarah recently spoke of her ‘love’ for the Underworld actress, who has a 15-year-old daughter from her marriage to Sheen.

Appearing on Howard Stern’s Sirius XM radio show, Sarah said that far from being intimidated by Sheen’s string of beautiful exes, she takes it as a compliment.

“No, it’s more like, ‘Look at all these beautiful women and he loves me.’ It’s more like that, like, ‘Wow!’” she said.

Referring to Kate, Sarah added: “I love her. She’s hilarious…She’s really cool.”

Phew! That’s one potential catfight we can cross off the list!
