Honouring the Dallas Buyers’ Club star at the American Cinematheque gala, Kate relived a story about Matthew from their days of filming 2008’s Fool’s Gold.

Going through a hard divorce at the time, Kate remembers Matthew trying to coax her into the water – and let’s just say it’s pretty epic!

Matthew and Kate not only starred in Fool’s Gold together, but How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days too – so it’s safe to say she knows him pretty well!

Actress hits out at rumours of an eating disorder

Kate Hudson has slammed rumours that she suffers from an eating disorder.

The Glee actress had previously sued the National Enquirer for claims implying she had a eating disorder back in 2006 saying she was: "looking like skin and bone." The actress received both and apology and compensation from the paper. But she isn't done insisting the dangers of such rumours yet.

According to the actress, it isn't the lie itself that bothers her most, it’s the impression it gives to young girls who believe it.

The mum-of-two spoke to Red magazine and explained: “If there is one thing I will never have, it is an eating disorder. I won’t have girls – even if it is just one or two who care – thinking that. Because it is a serious sickness, not something to plaster on the cover of a magazine. And I am the opposite.”

The actress continued on to say that, most of all, she wants girls to be happy within themselves: “I want girls to love themselves. I want them to feel good about who they are… The thing is, I’m lucky because I was loved. But I have seen so many young women who can’t feel good about themselves because they just don’t have… that love.”

Kate is currently engaged to Muse frontman, Matt Bellamy, and has said that there are no wedding plans, yet: “I’m not in a rush. We are basically married. It’s really about when we are going to take the time to plan a wedding.”

Kate Hudson was out promoting her new film, Wish I was Here, when she was questioned on whether she ever had a female fling, as well as her best on-screen kiss.

Asked by host, Andy Cohen, about her favourite onscreen kissing partner, Hudson picked Ledger, her co-star in 2002′s The Four Feathers.

Of the late actor, she said: “He was just so beautiful and sweet and gentle…he was lovely.”

Hudson also answered Cohen’s question about whether she has ever “taken a dip in the lady pond.”

She asked; “How deep is a dip?”

“I would say more than kissing,” Cohen clarified.

And after a lengthy pause (and another sip of her beverage), Hudson said, “No.”

Why so coy Kate?! We think there’s more to that than she’s admitting.

Kate Hudson has plenty of money, and she’s even a co-founder of her own fashion sportswear brand, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t get it horribly wrong on the red carpet sometimes.

The actress was at the Giorgio Armani Prive Fall 2014 couture collection fashion show in Paris yesterday, and she wore an Armani jumpsuit. But not just any Armani jumpsuit! This one was covered in rhinestones.

Now, perhaps it’s just not to our taste, but we can think of a million better choices Kate could have made.

Kate Hudson decided to share some of her thoughts on bum implant surgery.

Kate hit out recently on the constant reports surrounding stars and plastic surgery.

“The negativity is just so vast. Will everybody stop being so damned judgemental?”

Kate herself has been surrounded by speculation on whether she has had plastic surgery or not, and it seems that the actress definitely doesn’t like to be questioned on the subject.

“That’s like asking someone if they see a therapist – and why? If someone wants to go get butt implants, then sure, go get butt implants. The real question is, how do they treat the person next to them? Are they a-holes or are they awesome?”

Well one thing is for sure, we know where Kate stands when it comes to bum implants!

Kate Hudson says relationships can be “challenging things”

Kate Hudson recently shared her thoughts on relationships and how they can be one of “the most challenging things”.

The 35-year-old actress who is currently engaged to Muse’s lead singer Matt Bellamy, spoke of how relationships are “where you do the most work in your life”.

Kate said most relationships work, if both parties are willing to come face to face with themselves and work together.

“You come face-to-face with yourself, and if you can deal with realizing we’re all flawed, accept it and work with it, you might have a really amazing, lasting relationship.”

Hudson also said she looks to her parents, Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell for advice, as they’ve been married for 30 years.

“I’d say no matter what they’ve been through, they share similar values and really like each other. It sounds easy, but it’s not.”

Kate said that Goldie gave her important advice, when it comes to balancing friendships and relationships.

“My mum once said something so poignant to me: ‘Honour your female friendships, because men can come and go, but when we nurture our relationships with women, they can be forever’. I really believe that. My girlfriends are so important to me. They’ve been my rock-solid foundation.”
