With a growing number of children and families seeking help from mental health services, the Duchess of Cambridge has been speaking about the benefits that decision can have.

Sharing her support for a series of podcasts that aim to parents how to understand their child's mental health, Kate outlined that there is still a long way to go before e destigmatism the issue.

"One in three adults still say they would be embarrassed to seek help for their child's mental health.

"No parent would fail to call the doctor if their child developed a fever, yet some children are tackling tough times without the support that can help them because the adults in their life are scared to ask. It doesn’t need to be like this."

William and Kate have both been very active in their work for children's mental health awareness supporting campaigns such as Heads Together and it sounds like Kate has taken a lot away from that experience.

"Throughout my work with family and child support organisations, one thing that has stood out to me time and again is that getting early support for a child who is struggling to cope is the best possible thing we can do to help our children as they grow up.

"Knowing this, both William and I feel very strongly that we wouldn’t hesitate to get expert support for George and Charlotte if they need it."

Kate finished by highlighting the important and incredibly valuable work that mental health services are providing for children and that families should not be afraid to seek that support.

"I hope that this excellent series of podcasts by the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families will go some way to help families overcome that fear of what happens next if they look for professional support.

"They illustrate that many of the therapies are actually very simple and practical steps that include the whole family to help children make sense of the world around them.

"They show how with the right help, children have a good chance of overcoming their issues while they are still young, and can have the bright future they deserve."

We all have one thing that we wear all the time.

Whether it's a watch, your favourite hat or your trusty bag, it's your staple, and as small as it may be, it's what defines you from others.

Well, Kate Middleton has one staple that she wears to every occasion – her pearl drop earrings.

Hello Giggles spotted that the Duchess just can't be seen without them:

They're classy, sleek, sophisticated and pretty much sum up Kate herself.

Right now, life is good for Pippa Middleton. For one, the 32-year-old’s dashing millionaire Old Etonian boyf James Matthews, 40, popped the question a week ago.

That and she’s currently enjoying all the trappings of royal life – without having to bother herself with public service.

Even big sis Kate must feel a smidgen jealous.

Here, and as detailed by today’s Mail On Sunday, we wrap just SOME of the lavish gifts that Ms Middleton has reportedly had showered on her since she and Mr Matthews began dating properly earlier this year (they also enjoyed a brief dalliance in late 2012).

1) A £250,000 art deco engagement ring with a three-carat Asscher-cut diamond at its centre.

2) A £14,500 Cartier Ballon Bleu watch – Kate has one too.

3) A £100,000 classic car of her choosing to mark the engagement – a 1960s Mercedes Pagoda, like the one driven by Kate Moss, is top of the wishlist.

4) Lavish holidays to Corsica and Verbier, the Swiss party resort.

5) Nights out in London’s most exclusive restaurants – including Notting Hill hotspot Casa Cruz, where a single steak costs £50; high-end Indian restaurant Rasoi in Chelsea, and tapas restaurant Cambio del Tercio in South Kensington.

6) Numerous trips for the whole Middleton family to St Barths, where his parents own and run the Eden Rock hotel. They tend to travel on his £3m private jet.

7) A whole new floor added to his £17m Chelsea, London home. Pippa moved in after just two months of dating, and James immediately set about developing an extra floor in the house to accommodate a new bathroom especially for her.

8) A lavish 33rd birthday bash on September 6. Friends say he has a ‘huge surprise’ planned and will also fly the whole Middleton family (again, on his private jet, natch) to the Caribbean.

9) A wedding to remember: the pair are due to marry next year. Pippa is thought to have set her heart on a reception in the Scottish Highlands where the Matthews family own a 10,000-acre estate. The grand Victorian hunting lodge at Glen Affric in Inverness-shire has 11 bedrooms. It can only be rented as a whole… for more than £20,000 a night.

After acting as the hottest bridesmaid on the planet for her sister during the Royal wedding in April 2011, everyone assumed that Kate Middleton would be returning the favour following her younger sister, Pippa's engagement this week.

But if you – like millions others – had your heart set on another sisterly set-up for the second Middleton wedding, you're about to be sorely disappointed.

According to emerging reports, Kate's global profile means that it's unlikely she will act as maid of honour for her younger sister for fear of upstaging the bride on her big day.

Speaking to People magazine, author and royal correspondent, Judy Wade, suggested that Kate's royal status could cause problems, saying: "Kate would upstage her sister. It's a tricky situation for Pippa."

"She would want her sister by her sister, as who else would she trust to make things go well?" she continued.

And yet, the royal correspondent seemed fairly certain that despite their incredibly close bond, Kate would be determined to shy away from the limelight when her sister ties the knot with hedge fund manager, James Matthews, next year.

"But if your sister is a future Queen, she is going to upstage the bride and draw attention," Judy explained. "Kate would want to be in the background as much as possible."

Aw, this is not the latest instalment we expected of the Middleton / Matthews engagement story.

It’s been five years since we saw her walk up the aisle at the most talked about wedding of the year, and now Pippa Middleton is set to do it again… except this time she’ll be the bride!

Kate Middleston’s younger sister, who was bridesmaid for the Duchess of Cambridge during her wedding to Prince William in April 2011, is this week celebrating her engagement to James Matthews who popped the question during a romantic weekend in the Lake District.

According to the Daily Mail, the 40-year-old businessman, who has been in a relationship with Pippa since last year, approached her father to ask his permission before getting down on one knee last Saturday afternoon.

Commenting on James’s approach to the proposal, a source revealed; “James is a traditionalist and very much wanted to do things properly. That meant getting his future father in law’s consent.”

“Mike and Carole are very happy,” the source said of 32-year-old Pippa’s parents. “They like James and they are sure he will make Pippa very happy.’

It is understand the couple, whose relationship went up a gear after spending New Years together in St. Barts, have their sights set on 2017 for the big day, and it sounds like the Middletons may have a very busy year ahead in that case with reports circulating that Pippa’s brother, James, may be intending to propose to girlfriend Donna Air.

Commenting on the reports, the model and TV presenter told Fabulous magazine: “I feel like I've already had a marriage of sorts. But would I like to have an official one? Yeah. Hell, why not! I always say you have to try everything once."

Pippa's wedding sounds like it could be the event of next year with numerous high-profile names including James' brother, MIC star, Spencer Matthews, all set to attend.

If her bridesmaid dress saw her dubbed Her Royal Hotness, we cannot WAIT to see her actual wedding dress.

We're big fans of Princess Kate around these parts – so today we've been pretty ecstatic at the news that the British royal has just made her SnapChat debut.

And while sadly, the 34-year-old hasn't set up her own profile just yet (imagine the totes adorbs snaps of George and Charlotte!), she did appear on the social media platform via winning semi-finalist Serena Williams's account.

Hurrah!

In the video, which was taken at Wimbledon earlier today, the Duchess Of Cambridge can be seen rocking a bright yellow dress from Roskanda alongside the clearly delighted tennis superstar.

Sophie, Countess Of Wessex is also in attendance and after Kate beckons for her to join the party-of-two, she can also be seen smiling warmly for the footage.

And while the wife of Prince Wills is evidently rocking her best 'I'm not so sure about this but I better just play along' face – with Ms Williams, Wimbledon's current defending champion, is relishing the moment.

Indeed, at one stage she announces: "OK so I'm in the in crowd now… I'm with royalty!"

With Serena now through to Saturday's final, and with the Duchess due to make further SW19 appearances over the course of the final few days of the competition, here's to hoping we can nab another few SnapChat sneak-peaks of Kate.

Kate Middleton is a woman of many talents, but now it seems that one of her talents is levitating.

The mother-of-two was snapped walking beside her hubby and Prince Harry while attending the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Somme earlier this week, but people were more interesting in finding out what the hell was with Kate's floating body.

To be honest, at first glance it does look like she's in mid-air, and might be a former member of Hogwarts (wouldn't that be amazing).

But it turns out it's an optical illusion caused by a combo of the colour of the ground in contrast to her shoes, her position and the moment the pic was captured.

Of course, we won't judge if you rather let your imaginations run wild here…

We’ve long suspected that Kate Middleton is some kind of superhero and finally it seems we have found actual proof.

As well as looking impeccable all of the time and possessing the ability to sell out entire clothing lines at the drop of a hat, the Duchess of Cambridge has now revealed that she can actually fly.

The Internet has been left baffled by a recent photo in which the Royal beauty floats alongside David Cameron and brother-in-law Price Harry without either foot touching the ground.

Dressed in a collared lace dress for the Thiepval Memorial, the mother of two seems to hover angelically in the air as she looks off into the distance.

Saint Kate?  We think so.

We'd have thought that being the Prince Of Wales brought with it certain perks of the job – namely jetting around in private aircraft.

But no siree, it seems that Wills Windsor also has to battle the likes of liquid restrictions, passport control, and carry-on luggage just like us peasants.

He was in France yesterday to see England's 0-0 draw with Slovakia – and when it came his return journey to London he hopped on a standard British Airways plane.

Not only that, but Mr Cambridge also indulged in a spot of shut-eye once the aircraft took to the skies, promptly nodding off for much of the 1hour and 45minute journey.

Fellow passenger James, who was seated behind the British royal, remarked in conversation with Mail Online: "We were all tired after being put through a roller coaster of emotions so I don’t blame him for falling asleep."

James added: "He was clearly shattered after all the excitement from last night’s match."

Becoming an internet hit last week, the Duke will today be celebrating his 34th birthday with his family – his wife Kate, and their two gorgeous children Prince George, 3, and one-year-old Princess Charlotte.

Kate Middleton and Prince William touched down in Northern Ireland yesterday.

The couple were there to attend the Northern Ireland annual Garden Party in Hillsborough Castle.

Kate looked as lovely as ever as she mingled with the guests, wearing a cream coat and matching hat.

Kate also started off the party by planting a tree in the middle of the castle's estate.

The day seemed to be a success as Kate and William were snapped having fun in the Irish sunshine.

Buying a Christmas present for your 80-something granny-in-law has gotta be tough at the best of times – never mind when the granny in question is one of the world's longest serving monarchs.

But we reckon that Duchess Kate nailed it back in December 2011 – the year of her marriage to Prince Wills – coming up with a thoughtful and appropriate gift that evidently the Queen loved.

Chatting on a forthcoming two-hour ITV documentary to mark the British royal's 90th birthday, Mrs Cambridge admitted that she was a tad nervous having to come up with a decent pressie.

“I was thinking, ‘Gosh, what should I give her?’

“I thought, ‘I’ll make her something.’ Which could have gone horribly wrong.

"But I decided to make my granny’s recipe of chutney. I was worried about it, but I noticed next day it was on the table.

“Such a simple gesture went such a long way for me.”

Queen Elizabeth II has been on the British throne since 1952 and celebrates her milestone birthday on April 21.

We'd all be lying if Kate's (seemingly) effortless tresses were not our hair goals for every single day of our lives, because they obviously are.

The Duchess's barnet has become something of a cult phenomenon, so obviously when her hairdresser speaks, you listen.

And we are here to tell you that Kate's official hairdresser, Richard Ward, has just spoken.

"I think the 'gringe' – or the grown-out fringe as it was called at the time – is feminine and pretty, and can break up someone’s face," said Richard to OK! Mag on Kate's favourite way to sport her hair.

"I’m a big fan of fringes for changing someone’s look without doing anything too drastic.

"A side-swept 'gringe' like Kate's is good because it is forgiving and easy to grow out if the woman who has it isn’t a fan."

Richard did admit that if we wanted the flawless waves of her royal highness, we'd wanna be prepared to shell out.

"If you’re after expensive-looking hair like Kate’s, the key is the blow dry. You’re never going to get rich girl hair without a good blow dry.

"The products are important, but having hair that is in good nick, thanks to regular trims, treatment, and a decent hairdryer is the secret to making it look fabulous."

Okay, so he may have dashed our dreams of rocking Kate's effortless waves everyday, but he did give some tips on trying out her blow-dry style at home:

Step 1 Spray a volumising hairspray through your roots, put a smoothing cream on the ends and dry your hair until it's 80 per cent dry.

Step 2 Wrap 2 inch sections of hair around your brush adding the heat of the hairdryer and press the cool button to set the style in place.

Step 3 Take the brush out of the hair and wrap the hair around your finger and clip for longer lasting hold.

Step 4 For the final step, take the clips out and brush through your hair for an effortless Kate Middleton look.

Now go forth and conquer those tresses.
