Reports are revealing that Katie Holmes is set to be the next Nigella Lawson.
Apparently, American cook show The Taste are interested in having the former Dawson’s Creek star replace current British chef, Nigella on the show.
A source revealed that it’s all early days, but Katie is extremely interested in taking on the role.
“They’re keen to hear more about how Katie’s planning to reinvent herself as a Martha Stewart-style culinary guru. It’s very early days and it all depends on what happens with Nigella, but Katie is very excited and would jump at the job if it came available.”
Katie apparently wants to leave acting behind and become a cooking star. Not sure how Nigella would feel about this.
He’s funny, cute and very tall.
So we can’t really blame Katie Holmes for falling for actor Jason Segel.
Katie and the 34-year-old How I Met Your Mother star are said to be dating, and the actress is apparently head-over-heels about the actor.
Jason dated Katie’s former Dawson’s Creek co-star Michelle Williams and they only split last year, but apparently this hasn’t stopped the relationship from blossoming.
The pair have been friends for a while, having met on the set of HIMYM when Katie made a guest appearance back in 2011.
But it seems their relationship only became romantic in the past few months, and now Jason is said to be eager to start a family with the woman of his dreams.
Katie, 35, already has one child, eight-year-old daughter Suri, from her six-year marriage to Tom Cruise, which ended in divorce in 2012.
Katie was last linked to actor Jamie Foxx, while Jason’s last serious relationship was with Golden Globe winner Michelle, 33.
Katie Holmes joins Meryl Streep and Jeff Bridges in the highly anticipated movie adaptation of Lois Lowry’s 1993 novel, The Giver.

In a bid to show herself off as being a domestic goddess, Katie Holmes is reportedly in talks to launch her very own reality TV show.
According to Grazia magazine, the Batman Begins actress wants to follow in the footsteps of Gwyneth Paltrow, who has a published a cookery book, It’s all Good.
A source said: “Katie admires how Gwyneth Paltrow has carved out a foodie career. She’s hoping this might be a great new direction for her.”
According to reports, the show will focus in on Tom Cruise’s ex wife “learning to make different dishes, as well as concentrating on catering for children.”
The rumours stem from a picture she posted of herself learning how to cook with Zac Posen at Mario Batali’s New York cookery school.
Now that she has closed her clothing line Holmes & Yang, the star has plenty of time on her hands so it could be a real possibility – not sure if we will on the edge of our seats waiting for it to air….

The model dated Pete for about two years on and off and was caught up in an alleged cocaine scandal, causing massive brands such as H&M, Chanel and Burberry to drop her from their campaigns. We’re glad this one ended before things turned really ugly.
4. Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt
Living up to his surname, Spencer wreaked havoc among The Hills girls and ripped the jugular from their friendship. Technically Speidi are still going strong, but we included them because they are still so, so annoying. Also, this picture is priceless.
5. Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise
After Tom jumped on Oprah’s couch in a strange and frankly mental display of his love for Katie Holmes, the whole world was slightly uneasy with Tomkat who split in 2012.
