Khloé Kardashian's BFF Malika Haqq has apologised to fans after a drunken car crash saw her arrested.

The reality star, who heads up the Kardashian spin-off show Dash Dolls, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol in the early hours of Thursday morning.

According to the traffic police report, a collision involving a black Mercedes blocking lanes on the 101 freeway in North Hollywood occurred around 3am.

Malika had some minor injuries as a result of the crash also "had objective symptoms of intoxication," the report said.

"After further investigation, it was determined that Ms. Haqq was under the influence of alcohol," it added.

Mailka was taken to Valley Jail around 4am and spent the night behind bars before being released in the afternoon.

Though the 32-year-old has yet to make any comment about the incident on social media, her twin sister Khadijah released a statement to E! News yesterday following the incident.

"We all go through rough patches and this has been a difficult year for my sister," she said.

"Malika understands the gravity of her actions and deeply apologises. At this time, we will deal with this as a family."

Khadijah and Mailka co-manage the Dash store in West Hollywood, a sleek clothes boutique founded by the Kardashian sisters,
