Huge congratulations are in order for actress Kristen Stewart today after her latest achievement.

The 24-year-old made history last night after becoming the first American actress to win a Cesar Award, the French equivalent of an Oscar.

Kristen picked up the award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the film Clouds of Sils Maria, which tells the story of an actress who agrees to take on a role in the movie remake of the play which made her famous in the first place.

Paying tribute to her co-star, French actress Juliette Binoche, as she accepted the award, Kristen shouted in French: “I love you Juliette!”

In an interview backstage after her win, the Twilight star admitted that she likes the French attitude towards filmmaking more than that of the States.

“The reasons why people make films here in France are very different from the reasons why people make movies in Hollywood. I prefer it here a little bit,” she said.

Needless to say, the star looked absolutely stunning in an haute couture strapless Chanel gown, belted at the waist and teamed with black heels.

Well done, Kristen!

One thing has to be said for Kristen Stewart: the girl is never shy about giving her raw, honest opinion on a subject.

So when the topic of Twilight was raised during her recent appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, we were all ears.

Given how ex-boyfriend and co-star Robert Pattinson has hinted of his semi-regret over the franchise (he once said Edward looked like a creep when he smiled), it’s good to hear that Kristen is proud of her work on the movies.

When asked if her pattern of picking independent movies comes down to a desire to distance herself from The Twilight Saga, Kristen said: “Oh man, honestly, those are my high school years. In no way am I choosing little indie movies to step away from it.”

“Twilight blew up and I still look at it as something that made me who I am,” she admitted, adding, “In no way am I distancing myself…I’m just trying to do cool stuff.”

Fair play Kristen. Let’s face it, those movies and books got us through a lot of break-ups and lonely nights in on the couch!

Twilight star Kristen Stewart had to run the gauntlet of paparazzi after touching down in LAX airport this week and it looks like the pressure definitely got to the star.

After posing for photos inside the terminal, Kristen, who had just returned from a trip to Hawaii with best friend, Alicia Cargile, was taunted by photographers and autograph hunters outside the terminal building.

The paparazzi seemed to jeer the star and hoped to elicit a reaction from the actress by referring to her failed relationship with actor Robert Pattinson and saying “Kristen, are you still in love with Rob?”

The 24-year-old actress appeared to say very little, but when one autograph hunter refused to leave the star alone and insisted she sign a photo of herself and Robert, it looks like Kristen’s patience finally wore thin and she was heard snapping “Get the f*ck out of my face.”

A bystander even intervened and was forced to tell the persistent autograph hunter: “Dude, she said no.”

It's not all glamour for these stars.

Oh dear, it looks like there is no escaping the ghost of Robert Pattinson’s ex for new girlfriend FKA Twigs.

The singer has prompted rumours that she may not be Kristen’s biggest fan, after the actress was drawn up at a recent gig.

According to reports, a cheeky fan in the crowd shouted, “F*** Kristen Stewart” out loud – which apparently amused the singer no end.

Indeed, members of the crowd said that Twigs couldn’t help but smirk after hearing the diss on her new man’s famous ex.

Meow – the claws are out!

Robert and Twigs, real name Tahliah Debrett Barrnett, were first spotted together back in September, with a source telling Us Weekly that the pair had enjoyed a string of dates.

It hasn’t exactly been smooth sailing for the couple since news of their romance broke however, with Tahliah reportedly finding herself on the receiving end of cruel Twitter trolling.

Let’s hope all this drama dies down and everyone can get along!

She may have a reputation for being a bit moody, but actress Kristen Stewart has shown her sweet, generous side in her latest interview.

Appearing on The Tonight Show last night, the actress told host Jimmy Fallon the heartwarming story of how she took in a puppy who was found abandoned near the set of her latest movie, Camp X-Ray.

The cute little pup was discovered by a friend while playing a game of Frisbee-golf (we don’t know what that is either, by the way), and Kristen immediately fell in love with her, promptly adopting her as her own.

Describing her as “the best dog in the world”, Kristen revealed that she named her after her character in the movie, Amy.

It’s nice to hear that there was a happy ending to little Amy’s story.

Aside from talking lovingly about her dog, Kristen also unveiled her new look on the show, rocking a punky chopped bob. We’re reserving judgment for now, because we are simply too blinded by that neon furry jumper!

Twilight fans everywhere must be pinching themselves this morning!

While Breaking Dawn Part 2 was billed as the final movie in the blockbuster franchise, it has been revealed that a new series of short films based on the popular books is in the pipeline.

Deep breaths, everyone!

In an interesting twist on author Stephanie Meyer’s bestselling series, the new films will be directed by five separate female directors, with the shorts focusing on the world of the Twilight characters.

 

While few details of the project have been released as of yet, the new series will be titled The Storytellers – New Creative Voices of the Twilight Saga.

A delighted Meyer expressed her excitement for the project, saying that she is especially thrilled to be giving a platform to “the female voice”.

In a statement released today she said: “I’m honoured to be working with Women in Film, Lionsgate and Facebook on a project dedicated to giving more women a chance to be heard creatively.”

The Twilight movies have grossed a staggering $3.3 billion worldwide, making household names of lead actors Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson.

How exciting is this news? We can’t wait to see where the directors take the story.

Model and actress, Liberty Ross, has finally spoken out about the affair that ended her marriage.

Back in 2012, Hollywood was rocked by photos that emerged showing actress, Kristen Stewart in some very telling poses with Liberty’s husband, Rupert Sanders.

The pair had met on the set of Snow White and the Huntsman which Rupert was directing. 

Not only did the affair end Liberty and Rupert’s ten year marriage, it was inevitably the end of Bella and Edward, sorry, Kristen and Robert Pattinson.

Though the couple tried again to make it work, it didn’t last much longer.

Liberty on the other hand brought herself out of her marriage and has come out the other side, unscathed and better than ever.

Not only this, but the model has no bad feelings towards anyone involved, she told Harper's Bazaar: “It’s amazing what two years does. Today, I feel happier than I’ve ever felt, and I’m in such a great place. All of us are: my kids are great, Rupert’s amazing, we have all moved on and everyone is doing really well … People need to learn to forgive. I have no problem with anyone involved. I’m completely compassionate, I really am.”

She’s a better woman than us, that’s for sure!

Liberty also blamed the fact that she and ex-husband, Rupert had gotten married at such a young age: “Rupert and I were together since we were very, very young. I was 18 – essentially, I married my first boyfriend. I always used to say we were more like brother and sister anyway. We’d been together for so long, we weren’t really evolving together as a couple so much.”

Wow, it sounds like the model has put the whole sordid incident behind her and it’s good to see she and Rupert are on good terms for the sake of their two children, Skyla and Tennyson.

Kristen Stewart was never a girly girl, and she decided to prove her worth as a tom-boy when she was nominated by Anne Hathaway to complete the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.

Instead of pouring ice water over head, she (and her friends Scott Fahrendorf and Nicholas Hoult – look away J-Law!) stuck her head in dirty bath water for 15 seconds before pouring the remains over all over herself. Scott and Nicholas had another trick up their sleeves as they made sure Kristen was well and truly drenched by pouring a huge bucket of water over her at the very end.

The actress made sure that it was known she wasn’t wasting water by saying at the end of the video: "In good faith you must believe that all of this was done with dirty bath water. Please be considerate of California water conservation.”

She’s got a point! As does our Irish Mammy!

The role was originally written for a man, but judging from the trailer, they did the right thing in casting K-Stew instead. Could this film we worthy of an Oscar? We think it stands a chance!

Poor Kristen gets a lot of grief for not smiling in photos. From her red carpet snaps to paparazzi attention – the actress has managed to gain a reputation for her frown.

But despite all of the criticism, the 24-year-old thinks people would complain no matter what she did.

“Now I feel like if I smiled for a paparazzi photo — not that I ever would —that’s exactly what people would be desecrating me for. They’d be like, ‘now you’re going to give it up, now you’re a sell out.’ Like, okay. What do you want? What would you like?”

Fair point Kristen! The actress also went on to talk about her future career plans.

“Never at any point have I sat down and plotted how I should proceed from here on. As soon as you start thinking about your career as a trajectory — like, as if you’re going to miss out on some wave or momentum — then you’re never doing anything for yourself anyway. Then you’re truly, actually, specifically working for the public. You’re turning yourself into a bag of chips.”

It looks as if those awful rumours about Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult’s break-up may be true as the actor was seen dining out with none other that Kristen Stewart recently!

Kristen and Nicholas were spotted having breakfast in Japan, where a fan, @turducken09 saw, and snapped the pair together.

Meanwhile, Kristen’s ex, Robert Pattinson, recently spoke out for the first time about his break-up with the Twilight beauty, saying: “It’s just young people … it’s normal! And honestly, who gives a sh**?”

So, does this mean that Robert and Jennifer’s respective exes are now hooking up? We’re really not sure how we feel about this…!

Robert Pattinson has opened up once again about his ex-girlfriend, Kristen Stewart.

The couple split after it was revealed that Kristen was having an affair with director, Rupert Sanders. Despite of all of this, Rob seems to be in a good place about the ending of his relationship with Stewart: “S–t happens, you know? It’s just young people…it’s normal! And honestly, who gives a s–t?”

Robert admits it wasn’t easy initially, especially with the attention their split had brought to the media: “The hardest part was talking about it afterwards. Because when you talk about other people, it affects them in ways you can’t predict. It’s like that scene in Doubt, where he’s talking about how to take back gossip? They throw all those feathers from a pillow into the sky and you’ve got to go and collect all the feathers.”

Despite his split with Kristen, Robert still gets followed by the paparazzi: “I don’t understand why. I think it goes through periods where you’re assigned ‘this is the guy to follow’. But whenever I see a bunch of paparazzi hanging out, I always think, ‘Oh God, what have they found out!’ Oh, that love child! I totally forgot!”
