Kylie Jenner

Fans of Kylie Jenner look forward to her iconic Coachella OOTDs year after year – and the new mum isn't disappointing this year.

The lip kit mogul has already been spotted at Coachella, according to Refinery 29, alongside her baby daddy, Travis Scott, and her sister Kourtney Kardashian.

Ahead of this, she showed off her new bright pink locks on Insta, quoting Mean Girls and declaring herself a 'cool mom'.

Not everyone was impressed though, and many mummy-shamed the 20-year-old for going to the festival while her two-month-old daughter Stormi is still so young.

Most of the criticism has been aimed at Kylie for going to Coachella, rather than Travis. Double standard much?

'Kylie Jenner’s at Coachella like she doesn't’t have a whole newborn at home,' one person tweeted.

A post shared by Kylie (@kyliejenner) on

'Kylie Jenner had a baby like a month ago and is at Coachella and just got back from Cleveland… I know if I just had a baby I wouldn't be leaving her with a nanny all the time,' someone else wrote.

'Isn’t it a bit weird for Kylie to go to Coachella when she has a 2 month old baby,' another said on Twitter.

A number of people came to the mum-of-one's defence, though.

'Why are people so mad Kylie went to Coachella because she has a baby,' one Twitter user shared, 'I’m no Kardashian/Jenner minion but give the girl a break.'

'How bout y’all leave her alone? Sorry that you all think being a mother is defined by… slaving over your child but she wants to care for herself too and that should be just as accepted. It’s her child and she can raise it however she wants,' another commented on Instagram.

We've got to agree, after all, motherhood doesn't mean an end to socialising and having fun.

Summer 2018 is just around the corner and as temperatures (slowly) begin to rise, our thoughts can't help but drift to poolside cocktails and exotic holiday destinations.

Whether you're planning a holiday with the girls or a relaxing week with your other half, it's time to start thinking about the all-important swimwear – and who better than the Jenner sisters to teach us how it's done?

Kendall and Kylie have just launched their second swimwear collection with online retailer Revolve, and it's fierce AF.

From rainbow pinstripes to classic leopard print, the line includes a stellar selection of bikinis, one-pieces, cover-ups and sarongs.

Here's some of our favourite pieces:

While the sisters both appeared in the ad campaign for their first swimwear collection, this time it was only Kendall who showed off her toned physique in a red and white bikini.

Of course, this is most likely due to the fact that Kylie has a newborn baby to look after and doesn't really have time for photoshoots – totally fair, tbh.

The full collection is available now on revolve.com

Kendall Jenner has been keeping us all in suspense with a sneak peek of a pretty interesting Instagram page.

The mysterious Instagram account was hyped on Kendall's Insta story, leading fans to question exactly what it represented.

The page, called @PIZZABOYS, only has three posts.

A post shared by PIZZABOYS (@pizzaboys) on

Two of which are simple text posts reading 'Coming Soon,' while the third shows Kyle and Kendall dolled up and standing in a pool.

Nothing too unusual there except in the snap, they're both holding pizzas submerged under the water.

The bio of the page reads 'in crust we trust,' with fans speculating that the pair are staring a pizza company.

A post shared by PIZZABOYS (@pizzaboys) on

However, that doesn't seem super on-brand for the Kardashains, who usually keep their business endeavours in the realm of fashion and beauty.

Like some of Kendall and Kylie's past business ventures, Kendall has been accused of allegedly ripping off the Pizza Boys concept from an already existing artistic collective called @pizzaboyzzz.

The comments section of the three posts on the page Kendall promoted is flooded with criticism of the page, comparing it to the work of Pizza Boyzzz.

A post shared by PIZZABOYZZZ™ (@pizzaboyzzz) on

'This is such trash. @pizzaboyzzz have been delivering good original art and ideas so you are going to try and bite off that? Come on. You know you are just ripping them off. So sad. The #pizzaboyzzz hustle and work hard and you guys roll up and try to swipe their thunder?' reads one comment.

'Didn't you guys learn your lesson with the Biggie/Tupac thing? You can't just keep stealing and not get called out,' claims another commentator.

As the product or concept for Pizza Boys has yet to be revealed, we'll have to wait and see what the page is actually all about.

One glance at social media proves that aesthetic surgery is on the rise in Ireland, and a set of perfectly pouty lips is the most covetable of all qualities.

Social media saturation, reality TV super stars and selfies are all being blamed for the trend, which has seen a massive spike on Irish shores according to Google trend data.

High maintenance glamour is considered mandatory by some, with hair extensions, microbladed brows, eyelash extensions and lip fillers accessorising the perfect designer it-bag.

The trend skyrocketed in early 2015, just after cosmetics queen Kylie Jenner admitted to her penchant for the procedure.

However, the current obsession with lip fillers is not limited to a niche market.

Indeed, women from all walks of life, from nurses and models to CEOs and students, are all opting to get in on the trend, but it's particularly widespread among younger Irish women.

A photo posted by Jess Brennan (@jess_brennan_x) on

Amanda Holtz, an American student studying in Dublin, is curious about trying lip fillers for the first time.

"I think I've always been a little self conscious about my lips. Not that they're weird looking or anything but because to me they aren't perfect," she says in conversation with SHEmazing!

Citing social media, she adds: "On Instagram everyone seems to be having a bit of work done, it's almost beginning to seem like the norm in order to be beautiful. There's this idea of beauty and it's difficult not to compare yourself to that."

"I do find myself being bothered by my thin lips and I know that I will end up trying lip injections especially because I feel that they are just a little change that could make a big difference to my confidence. And if I end up hating it, they only last a few months anyway!"

A photo posted by megan_mckenna_ (@megan_mckenna_) on

While Amanda is optimistic about perusing a procedure, extensive research is necessary in Ireland as the process is unregulated.

So-called 'cosmetic cowboys' have sprung up all over the country, administering fillers with little to no experience.

A quick Google search shows that purchasing the liquid filler and corresponding medical needles and cannulas is just the click of a mouse away.

Some of these individuals rent out hotel rooms to administer the fillers, and as Irish suppliers will only sell to registered doctors, nurses and dentists (not beauticians) there is no way of knowing what the product is or whether the person wielding the needle has any experience whatsoever, as there are no regulations about who can perform the procedures.

April Kavanagh, the trained nurse behind NurseCare Aesthetics, admits that "unfortunately the process is mostly unregulated."

"It angers me that people who aren't medically trained don't know what can go wrong with these procedures. I have had to correct lips that are the result of unethical prctice."

"Too much product injected into the lips can cause more swelling and can cut off the blood supply to the lips and compress nerve endings, causing permanent damage. It's someone's face at the end of the day."

A main artery runs through the lips, and if filler is injected in to or around the artery, it an cause a very serious complication called an occlusion, where the blood flow is reduced or completely stopped.

"The area of skin or other tissues that are supplied by the affected vessel will start to die without the necessary blood supply," says cosmetic specialist site Real Self

One woman who knows all too well the effects of a poorly done procedure is Claudia McGloin.

Claudia had some fillers done four years ago which left her with lumps in her lips that would not go away. Since opening her own clinic, The Claudia McGloin Clinic, in Co Sligo, she has moved on from her "botched" job and now specialises in Dracula therapy.

She has witnessed the increase in interest in the area, and warns against viewing lip fillers as anything less than a medical procedure.

"Because fillers are available in beauty salons and hair dressing salons, it makes it look like these are beauty treatments when in fact they are medical procedures," she said.

"Cheap deals using cheap fillers also make it look affordable. Research tells us that women particularly after a break up go through a transition. Years ago it was a hair-cut or colour but today it's cosmetic surgery."

"In Ireland there are no regulations and unfortunately no rules which state who can and who cannot inject fillers. It is however illegal for anyone in Ireland other than a doctor to inject Botox so we should have broader regulations in place to stop ‘just anyone’ injecting."

"It's scary the number of non-medics in Ireland injecting at the moment and it's increasing by the week."

"I'm highly involved in Patient Safety in both the UK and Ireland and am constantly campaigning for regulation," said the nurse, who was recently awarded the Highly Commended Nurse of the Year 2016 award for her dedication to safety in beauty.

A photo posted by Chloe Ferry(@chloegshore1) on

Through her work, Claudia has heard horror stories of cheap filler procedures, with some unregulated places even offering to split a syringe of filler between two people.

"This is unsafe, unethical and unprofessional. A syringe as clearly stated on the box from the manufacturers is for single use only. It doesn't matter if it's your mum you're sharing with – it's wrong!"

"Practitioners should also be insured and you should be able to see certificates of training and updates. Always ask questions. Ensure you see the filler coming out of a new packet," said Claudia, who has set up a campaign to educate people on making safe, informed decisions when it comes to cosmetic procedures.

Nurses should be registered with the Nursing And Midwifery Board Of Ireland (NMBI), dentists with The Irish Dental Council (IDC) and doctors with the Irish Medical Council

April, of Nursecare Aesthetics, turns away young girls everyday who come to her practice brandishing photos of Kylie Jenner's Instagram.

"I have absolutely turned away clients who want work done for the wrong reasons. Some people come in for a procedure, then call me up two weeks later looking to get more," she tells SHEmazing!

The registered nurse takes a strong stance against working on young people. "I would never work on a 17-year-old and have turned many away. They want a 'big pout.'

"They absolutely have unrealistic expectations because of Kylie Jenner, They come in looking for a half ml of filler expecting to look bee-stung. Half a ml is one tenth of a Calpol spoon."

With the youngest Kardashian-Jenner championing the trend, after getting her lips plumped at the tender age of 16, it's no wonder that young girls are seeking out the procedure.

After the teenager altered her features back in 2014, the popularity of the procedure boomed, with one Irish aesthetician going from doing one procedure a month to 20 per day.

A photo posted by Kylie (@kyliejenner) on

"I've heard of people as young as 14 getting them done," revealed aesthetics veteran Kerry Hanaphy, who has completed an estimated 100,000 procedures on Irish women in the last 12 years.

While some of us were lucky to get our nails manicured for our Debs, lip fillers are now regularly on the beauty list for young girls on the brink of leaving secondary school.

"The legal age is 18, but I get emails from underage girls, 17, everyday saying the have their mum's consent. I turn them away," said the clinician, who also cites reality stars like Megan McKenna and the Geordie Shore girls as major inspirations for the trend.

"Over the last 18 months because of the lip filler trend they have become 80 percent of my business. I do 20 clients a day and I could do more, but I cap it at that."

"You have to have someone say to young people enough is enough."

"One girl, she said she doesn't care what she looks like in real life as long as she looks good in a selfie."

Kerry, who fills the lips of some of Ireland's top bloggers such as Ashley Kehoe, urges people who are considering the aesthetic tweek to do their research.

"Question the qualifications, ask who is doing the procedure, what they are putting in and where they are injecting – it's where the filler is that's key."

A photo posted by Kerry Hanaphy (@kerry.hanaphy) on

Irish super model Tiffany Stanley also spoke to SHEmazing! from her home in California, where she moved in 2013, about how casual the procedures have become.

"Lip fillers are very popular in LA. Even the majority of men here get them done. It's nothing unusual and it's not even a topic people talk about, it's just a normal part of most people's beauty regime, like getting a facial or manicure," says the Kildare native.

"The trend has hit Ireland now too, women want to look and feel their best. If it helps a woman feel more confident and empowered , I see no problem with it. I think Kylie Jenner's transformation really inspired a lot of people to try fillers. She looks amazing," said the model, who has been working in LA since landing a role in the Hollywood film Brothers James: Retribution, and has previously had some filler work done on her chin.

While fillers have gotten something of a bad wrap lately thanks to their popularity and lack of regulations, they are at the tamer end of the cosmetic stratosphere.

There is no aesthetic involved and the results fade after three to six months.

"Lip fillers are not a bad thing," adds Kerry Hannaphy, who has worked on numerous clients looking for a subtle improvement in lip volume or symmetry.

"I've had numerous emails about how it's improved the confidence of people, they feel so much better about themselves and they don't feel so depressed."

"It's aesthetics, so you look better, it's not about changing your features."

Kylie Jenner kept us all in the dark during the final few months of her pregnancy – surprising everyone with her Instagram announcement of her first child Stormi.

Although Kylie shared much of what she got up to during the pregnancy in a YouTube video about the past nine months, one area it didn't cover was Kylie's work life on Kylie Cosmetics.

The KUWTK star decided to work on a very specific collection project during her pregnancy – one completely dedicated to her baby daughter.

A post shared by Kylie Cosmetics (@kyliecosmetics) on

Dubbed the Weather Collection, the entire line is inspired by Stormi and her unique metrological name.

Before Kylie's leave of absence on social media, there was much discussion in the online beauty community that Kylie's makeup brand had somewhat lost it's edge in the industry thanks to the triumphs of other innovative brands like Fenty Beauty and Jeffrey Star Cosmetics.

However, the electrifying Weather Collection Kylie has just presented on social media is all the evidence we need to show that the makeup mogul is still on top of her game.

Kylie's makeup line has always been one which gives customers and followers of celeb and influencer makeup trends exactly what they want – in 2016 that was a mauve lip kit, in 2017 it was a berry eye shadow palette, and now in 2018 it's a high shine, amped up, unapologetic collection covering everything from matte lipsticks to glitter eye shadows.

While KKW Beauty is all about keeping things natural, glowy and always nude, the Weather Collection is a literal breath of fresh air and a zing of energy amongst a beauty landscape of tired neutrals.

Let's break down the collection product by product so you get the gist of what I mean.

First up, lets discuss the packaging,. It focuses on contrasting shades of black and electric yellow with splashes of holographic lettering and graphic print cases.

The makeup casings come in clashing colours like iridescent navy, grey and hologram, and the entire effect gives off very Urban Decay Vice palette meets niche, independent Etsy makeup brand vibes.

The 'I' in Kylie has been replaced with a lightning bolt throughout the collection.

There are no lip kits in the collection, instead we have three new formula matte lipsticks.

The first shade is a throwback to vintage 2014 Kylie, with blue tipped hair, 'over lined' lips and flannel shirts tied around her waist.

It's a matte black called Nightfall, and seems to be the more mature development of one of her early lip kits called Dead of Knight – a product that was dogged with bad reviews due to it's less than perfect formula.

However, Nightfall is described as being a 'traditional' matte lipstick with an opaque finish – exactly what the customers clamoured for after in their feedback for Dead of Knight.

While I did complain earlier about the saturation of nude, neutral makeup on the market earlier, I'll allow Kylie to get away with the next two colours and call them a balancing act for Nightfalll.

The two other matte classic lipsticks in the trio are a deep nude and a light nude, nicknamed Cosmic and Nova (interestingly enough, Nova was one name that Kylie blogs predicted she might call her baby, so perhaps it was a contender after all).

While these lippies are pretty, they're the least interesting aspects of the new collection.

Staying with lip products, Kylie has also created a high shine, early 00s lip gloss that 2006 Paris Hilton would buy in bulk.

The Flash Glitter Gloss glimmers holographically, amd I'm thinking it would look pretty good as a lipstick topper over any shade of lipstick, or as a statement, stand alone gloss.

A post shared by Kylie Cosmetics (@kyliecosmetics) on

The collection wouldn't be complete without a few highlighting products, and Kylie's cult loose highlighting powder line is getting a new addition in the form of the  Lightning Bolt Ultra Glow.

The highlight threatens to outshine the already existing highlighters with its eccentric yellow and gold undertones, combined with silver flecks.

Never one to do things b y halves, Kylie is also using the Weather Collection to introduce a new Wet Set pressed powder highlighting palette, with four warm highlighter pans.

A post shared by Kylie Cosmetics (@kyliecosmetics) on

This is where the most attentive packaging detail comes in – the palette exterior is designed with a cloud graphic print, and a select few of the stormiest looking clouds are – wait for it – fluffy.

'I worked on this pretty much throughout my entire pregnancy,' she said on Instagram Stories.

'I spent a lot of time on this collection and I put a lot of detail into it.'

A post shared by Kylie Cosmetics (@kyliecosmetics) on

While Kylie's previous eyeshadow palettes have been in response to makeup trends, be they online ones or those started by the mum-of-one herself, Kylie's latest two are a step away from the now typical nude, brown and warm-toned palettes we see on every beauty guru in the land.

The Calm Before The Storm Palette contains a variety of pairs of matte and shimmer shades, in a selection of colours from lavender to mustard to peach.

The colours are strong and bold while staying fresh and feminine, and the name fits perfectly into the weather theme, as well as being reminiscent of the typical description of pregnancy being 'the calm' before the arrival of a newborn.

A post shared by Kylie Cosmetics (@kyliecosmetics) on

The Eye of The Storm palette, however, is where things get interesting.

This palette is a strong, bold combination of deep navy shimmers, striking canary yellows, icy silvers and jet blacks mixed in with base nudes you can build the dramatic shades on.

The colours are so deep and pigmented, we can see them being used with a wet angled brush as eyeliner.

It's not exactly the most wearable palette for everyday, but its the perfect antidote to the warm and neutral shadows that are dominating the beauty trend sphere at the moment.

A post shared by Kylie Cosmetics (@kyliecosmetics) on

Now, maybe it's just me, but the EOTS and the CBTS palettes combined are giving me serious Anastasia Beverly Hillls Prism and Subculture Eyeshadow Palette vibes.

The ABH Subculture was a hotly anticipated palette released a few months ago – but with slightly disastrous results.

Customers and beauty gurus alike complained that the shades were beautiful but crumbly AF- the fall out close-up shots from the palette were pretty shocking.

Now, the brand has since rectified the consistency issue, but perhaps Kylie spotted an opportunity to create sough after shades in  the right texture? Just a conspiracy theory, but the colourway is quite similar.

The Prism Palette, Subculture Palette and the Eye of the Storm and the calm Before the Storm combined both have soft peaches, nudes, lavenders, strong yellows, glitter greens and jet matte blacks.

While the colourway similarities are probably a coincidence, or a response to customer demand, it's worth noting that with the go-ahead from both Kylie Cosmetics and ABH, neon yellow eyes may be about to take over from berry-toned smoky shadows.

Keeping with the eyeshadow theme, Stormi also inspired her Mum to develop four new glitter creme eyeshadow shades.

The Glitter Eyes Eyeshadow Duos are getting serious hype over on the Kylie Cosmetics Instagram.

The packaging is complete ed with little lightning bolt motifs – and the duos compliment the rest of the collection perfectly.

Destiny and Violet Moon, a combo of brown and blue, are ideal for a night out look, while Twinkle Twinkle and Superstar could be used as highlighters as well as eye shadows.

Overall, the collection is to Kylie what a sexy nude Instagram picture is to Kim – a declaration that she is back, better than ever and still more than on top of her game when it comes to hyping and selling out a makeup collection in seconds, new industry competition be damned.

The collection drops on February 28, and we can only predict that much like her early launches, the Weather Collection will sell out in seconds.

Welcome back, King Ky.

Last night we discovered that Kylie Jenner gave birth to a baby girl (HURRAY).

For months, the rumour mill had been turning in an almost aggressive way, with people speculating whether or not young Kylie was going to be a mum.

At just 20-years of age, whether you are a celebrity or not, the idea of motherhood is a lot to take in.

Imagine adding the constant scrutiny of the press and the public? Yeah, we'd have kept the whole thing quiet also.

Yesterday evening, Kylie shared a statement explaining why she chose to keep her pregnancy under wraps, and we honestly could not respect her more.

Sure, there were days where we JUST wanted a cheeky snap of her baby bump, purely because we've been programmed to think that we're entitled to to that level of intimacy.

Kylie Jenner has been in the public eye since she was a child, and every element of her personal life has been plastered all over the Internet for years.

From relationship dramas to genuine family issues – the Kardashian/ Jenner clan typically don't have the luxury that is privacy.

And listen, we appreciate that it is this lack of privacy that has allowed them all to become obscenely wealthy – but at the end of the day they're human beings.

Human beings who are not animals in a zoo, only existing to entertain us (and make millions).

Kylie found herself pregnant 9 months ago, with her new boyfriend Travis Scott, and made a decision that none of her sisters have been able to make.

The makeup mogul decided that her pregnancy was for her, and not for the public. Right on sister.

"I'm sorry for keeping you in the dark through all the assumptions," she said on Instagram on yesterday.

"I understand you're used to me bringing you along on all my journeys. My pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world. I knew for myself I needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress free, and healthy way I knew how. There was no gotcha moment, no big paid reveal I had planned. I knew my baby would feel every stress and every emotion so I chose to do it this way for my little life and our happiness."

A post shared by Kylie (@kyliejenner) on

We could not be prouder of this girl (who we've never actually met, but the emotional attachment is so real).

Sure, at the beginning of the Kardashian reign, Kourtney allowed camera crews in to the delivery room to film her giving birth to Mason… for our viewing pleasure like.

Kylie represents the face of a new era of reality TV. There is no need to bare every single fibre of their existence just to make a buck.

It might have annoyed die hard fans, but Kylie has proven that she is more than just a face on a TV screen, and bravo to that.

At the end of the day, Kylie is a young woman who is figuring it all out – how to be a girlfriend, how to be a business woman, and most importantly – how to be a mum.

Congrats to you Kylie – on becoming a mum, and being an absolute superstar.

We have officially reached 'believing in conspiracy theories' section of Kylie Jenner's phantom pregnancy.

On the one hand, we have all those grainy photos which appear to show the 20-year-old lip kit mogul heavily with child, that covered up Calvin Klein ad and the numerous 'quotes' from 'sources close to the family, and on the other we have approximately nothing from the Kardashian clan themselves.

However, if we know Kris Jenner like we wish we did, we would think that the momager wouldn't let a little thing like a pregnancy announcement go buy without a sufficient amount of monetisation.

So, if it was to be announced on KUWTK like Kim's, we wouldn't be surprised.

Well, this nifty little hypothesis is backed up by some information about the episode titles of the new season of Keeping up with the Kardashians.

Wikipedia shows that the season finale could be called We're Expecting.

A post shared by Kylie (@kyliejenner) on

Seeing as both Kim and Khloe have already announced their pregnancy news in the season, this led one Twitter account, Tabloid Art Culture, to point out that the season finale could be Kylie's time to shine.

Obviously Wikipedia is not the most reliable source for information, but the site has been right about the season's episode titles so far.

However, the account also speculates that the episode could actually be about big sister Khloe's pregnancy.

With an updated synopsis being added for episode 18 which details the fact that Khloe is trying to keep her pregnancy secret from the public, it would be that episode 19 focuses on the Good American designer's Instagram announcement.

The episode doesn't air on E! until February 25, so we still have a few weeks until we find out for sure.

Seriously, we're cracking up here Kylie, we NEED to know.
