Lady Gaga was one happy camper last night after unexpectedly walking away with a Golden Globe statuette for her role in American Horror Story.

The singer beat out Kirsten Dunst, Felicity Huffman, Sarah Hay and Queen Latifah to win the Globe for Best Actress in a TV Series.

But her fellow nominees weren't the only ones pushed to the side last night, as Gaga also managed to accidentally/on purpose give Leonardo DiCaprio a bit of a shove as she walked past him.

GIFs showing the moment from a few different angles have been doing the rounds today, and from what we can discern, it appears that Leo was laughing with others at his table and pointing at the stage, as Gaga walked up to accept her award.

Whether she shoved into his chair on purpose or not remains to be seen, but it's Leo's "caught in the act" face afterwards that really sent the internet into overdrive:

Speaking about the GIF-worthy moment backstage at last night's awards, Leo swore there was nothing untoward going on.

"Oh lord — that’s trending, huh?" he responded when questioned by Entertainment Tonight.

"I just didn’t know what was passing me — that’s all."

We're not sure what to believe, but either way we'll be watching the moment on repeat for the rest of the day, thanks very much.

Lady Gaga's red-carpet history is among Hollywood's most outrageous.

She's donned  everything from meat dresses to mesh naked gowns. However, when the American Horror Story star wears those crazier looks, she isn't actually feeling that confident in them.

She explained to Billboard: "If you see me dressing really out there, I tend to be self-deprecating inside. When I dress like a lady, I tend to be feeling very wild and confident."

One of the reasons for this, she went on to explain is that mental health issues have had a impact on her self-confidence and how she portrays herself when in the spotlight.

"That sounds bizarre, but I get a lot of shit done with that blond hair. I haven't changed. It's just that I'm almost 30. I'm learning how to function effectively in society," she added.

The singer has struggled with depression and anxiety "my entire life; I still suffer with it every single day."

She started her Born This Way Foundation in order to help teens going through it:

"I just want these kids to know that that depth that they feel as human beings is normal. We were born that way. This modern thing, where everyone is feeling shallow and less connected? That's not human."

She also opened up about recovering from her own sexual assault in the interview. It became an experience she tapped into to write and perform Til It Happens to You for other survivors.

"The hardest part for me was the self-acceptance," she said. "There's an inability to acknowledge to yourself, 'Not only did this happen, but I'm pretty f—ed up about it.' And nobody knows how you feel. I didn't tell anyone [about my sexual assault] for years—and I didn't tell anyone for years because I didn't tell myself for years."

She went on to say that her inability to process the assualt lead to her feeling completely drained and not in control of herself or her emotions:

"My soul just burnt out until it was gone. And then you have to admit you were in pain, and that you died in a way, but you are in control to bring it back, and there are people in the world who'll help you."

Lady Gaga's beau, Taylor Kinney, is super set to star alongside the singer on TV after Gaga made her television debut as American Horror Story: Hotel's newest staple.

His own hit TV show Chicago Fire is premiering its fourth season tonight and E! News caught up with the hunky actor as he spilled the beans on him and his fiancée working together.

"I would love doing something with her," Taylor told E! News.

"I met working with her. I don't know that we've done anything workwise since. I wouldn't put that out of the realm of possibilities."

America's fiercest fiancés first met in 2011 on the set of Lady Gaga's You and I music video, so it only seems fitting that they're now both getting screen time at the same time.

Taylor even had a possible name in mind for his future project with his leading lady. "The Nuptials," he suggested.

And while it's unclear if that means he'll spin his wedding for some inspiration or whether he'll actually broadcast his wedding live, we know we'd be tuning in either way.

Mr Kinney even revealed that helping Gaga prepare for her newest venture as The Countess Elizabeth, helped him to strengthen his own acting.

"I just wanted to help my girl prepare the best that she could, so that in itself has helped me just kind of…get immersed in it, in the work, and that translates…the more you talk about it, the more you do it, that stays with you."

Rejection. We all hate it and sometimes fear it.

It can be hard when someone tells you "no", as it feels like all the hard work you put in was for nothing.

But if you want to succeed, one little word should not get in your way. Just look at these famous and brilliant women, who once upon a time were told "no" also.

Jessica Alba

This year Jessica Alba graced the cover of Forbes for the incredible success of her The Honest Company.

But it wasn't always so easy for the actress. In a recent interview with Forbes, Jessica was asked about the reactions she got while pitching The Honest Company during its first few years.

“It took three and a half years of condescending nods or pats on the back good luck.”

“Instead of the resistance holding me back, it pushed me forward. I almost needed it."

"I needed people telling me ‘no’ for me to figure out exactly what I was going to do and how I was going to do it.”

Anna Wintour

It surprised us all to hear that Anna Wintour was originally told “no” by the very industry she runs.

Yes, as a junior fashion editor, Anna was fired from Harper’s Bazaar for being too “edgy.” At a fashion industry conference in New York, she told the audience, “I worked for American Harper’s Bazaar. … They fired me."

"I recommend that you all get fired. It’s a great learning experience.”

Chloe Grace Moretz

Chloe is quite open about the prevalence of rejection in Hollywood. The 18-year-old star spoke to The Telegraph about how she handles constant rejection.

"You go up for hundreds, thousands of roles, and you get told no, no, no so many times. You have to have a tough skin; otherwise you'd get beaten down."

"But I'm not. I love getting told no ’cause then I fight even more."

Lady Gaga

Gaga was rejected from her first music label. She signed on with Def Jam Records in 2006 but then dropped three months later.

It was devastating to be dismissed from her dream vocation, but being rejected gave Gaga the time to experiment.

In an interview with E! News, Gaga said, “It was one of the worst days of my life and it happened quite quickly."

"If you give up after something like that, you were never destined to be an entertainer. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger."

Mindy Kaling

Not only is Mindy a phenomenal comedienne and actress, but she also writes and runs her own network television show, The Mindy Project.

In an interview with The Guardian, Mindy talked about a “humiliating experience” in which she was forced to audition for a sketch show that she was asked to write.

Yep, Mindy was asked to audition for the part of herself and was then rejected because she was “not considered attractive or funny enough.” Ouch.

Oprah Winfrey

Oprah started her on-air career as the first black female evening news anchor for Nashville CBS. After a few years, Oprah moved to Baltimore to be the evening co-anchor for WJZ-TV.

After only seven and a half months as a co-anchor, she was demoted to a poorly rated daytime show for being “too emotionally involved in the stories.

Within a year, that tiny show was renamed The Oprah Winfrey Show, and as her success scaled, she reached millions of people every day.

J.K. Rowling

Can you imagine life without Harry Potter? Nope, either can we. If J.K. Rowling hadn’t been fired from her job as a secretary, we might have had to suffer that sad reality.

Thankfully, when the HR department told Ms Rowling she was not cut out for secretarial work because she spent all of her working hours writing stories, she went on to write one of the most epic stories of our generation.

And we are so thankful!

Lady Gaga’s latest single ‘Til It Happens to You was recorded for a documentary set to be released later this year called The Hunting Ground.

The documentary, according to Entertainment Weekly is focused on “the campus rape epidemic facing colleges” in the United States. The video appears to have made efforts to stay close to the theme of the documentary as it takes an unflinching approach to sexual assault.

A title card before the video beings reads:

“The following contains graphic content that may be emotionally upsetting but reflects the reality of what is happening daily on college campuses.”

The video was directed by Catherine Hardwicke of Twilight and Thirteen fame. It depicts college students experiencing assault in terrible but unfortunately all too common situations.

“Til it happens to you,” Gaga sings, “you don’t know how it feels.”

Nicki Reed is one of the stars to take on a role in the powerful video. According to the video’s YouTube page, a portion of the proceeds from the sales of the single will donated to organisations aiming to help victims of sexual assault.

Earlier today, Gaga tweeted a message which appeared to aimed at supporting any and all victims of sexual assault:

Yep, you read that right.

It seem trends are getting weirder and more ridiculous by the day – but this one takes the crown.

Plastic food clips are the new 'it' accessory in China – but we really hope it doesn't catch on here.

So now if you want to wear a fried egg on your head, there's a clip for that.

Want to make streaky bacon fashionable? There's an accessory for that too.

You can even have a whole buffet in your do'!

Internet shopping site, Taobao, said that there's such a high demand for the clips that they are in the midst of producing more.

Many Internet users are commenting on the products, saying the look like "cute" accessories.

But really, we're just as confused as Britney right now.

Lady Gaga is well known for her insane fashion sense, and these shoes certainly live up to that reputation.

We find it difficult to walk in heels at the best of times, but these shoes look completely horizontal and we have no idea how anyone would get anywhere wearing them. That said though, they seem right up Gaga's street.

The singer was elated with her present from the late designer Alexander McQueen. Posting a picture on Instagram, she wrote, "Long live McQueen. Look monsters, we got a sign of love from the beyond."

Gaga, who got engaged on Valentine's Day of this year, said her fiancé is the photographer responsible for her latest Instagram posts.

The Poker Face singer is probably the only person who could pull off such a fashion statement. One picture is captioned: "When a gift comes to you from Heaven, photo by Taylor Kinney best fiancée ever."

Taylor Swift is a big ol' romantic, and she's not going to let us forget that any time soon.

The singer revealed over the weekend that she credits one thing in particular with bringing her and Calvin Harris together… a "magical spell" cast by none other than Lady Gaga. We kid you not.

Taylor's admission came when a fan tweeted to lament about his own love life, writing, "I pride myself on still thinking love can be like a romantic comedy but sometimes I just think I'm behind and just won't catch up."

Never one to let a fan get down on themselves, Taylor responded a few hours later and referenced a message she'd gotten from Lady Gaga a few months back.

"Go read Gaga's tweet that she sent me a few months ago. It's good love luck. Because it's not a tweet. It's a magical spell," she wrote.

The tweet in question, sent back in March, came after news of Gaga's engagement to Taylor Kinney hit the media. "Is it just me or is Lady Gaga, like, fully LIVING right now?" wrote T-Swift at the time. Gaga then responded by calling Taylor a "a sweetheart" and adding, "Your prince charming will come!"

Just a couple of weeks later, Taylor's budding romance with Scottish DJ Calvin became official when he flew her out to Las Vegas in a private jet to watch him perform. Yup, that spell worked. Very well indeed.

Gaga continued the good karma flow over the weekend when she took to Twitter again to tell Taylor, "I only cast happy spells! Unless there's bad blood. I have a separate cauldron for that. Happy for u."

Too cute.

Each week we speak to an inspiring go-getter as part of our Rising Stars series.

Here, milliner Margaret O'Connor tells SHEmazing! how the rural landscape of Co Clare inspires her, what it was REALLY like to see Lady Gaga don one of her creations – and why the future holds more than just hats…

Hailing from the rural Tubber, in north Co Clare – the very rugged environment that inspires her creativity – Margaret O’Connor first came to prominence in 2013.

Then, none-other than super-star singer-songwriter Lady Gaga wore her Marion headpiece to an exhibition on the late Isabella Blow, the famed muse, magazine editor, and – appropriately enough – celebrated hat-lover.

“When I was a small girl I used to draw a lot and as it was the only thing that kept me quiet, my mother would always have colouring paints and crayons to hand!” 28-year-old Margaret explains with a smile now.

“Then when I was a little older, my father got me into running. That was around the time Sonia O’Sullivan was winning gold medals for Ireland and got a silver medal at the Olympic Games in Sydney. I then got very into sports, hurling, GAA, soccer, running, everything really.”

Indeed, Margaret credits sport with having pushed her into a career in art.

She explains: “It comes naturally to be artistic, but the discipline, drive and competitiveness in sports is what I needed as an artist to develop my own creativity, to improve and keep on improving.

“Some people are very lucky as they can be creative and also good at other skills. I feel the only skill I have is my creativity so I’ve no other option! Millinery just happens to be the medium I work in at the moment.”

After studying sculpture and paint at the Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology, Margaret moved to Edinburgh where she commenced a work experience placement with celebrated designer Yvette Jelfs.

Following this, she moved to London to work with noted milliner Noel Stewart, though her real baptism of fire came later when her internship at Philip Treacy’s studio coincided with William and Kate’s 2011 royal wedding. Many of the guests on the day wore pieces by Mr Treacy – including Princess Beatrice, who wore a creation that divided public opinion.

Meanwhile, on a practical day-to-day basis, Margaret says tea keeps her functioning during those long nights in the studio: “Lyons and Barrys are absolutely essential!” she laughs.

The items in each of Margaret’s collections are like wearable works of art. Her Lichtenstein collection, for example, is just amazing.

Inspired by the famous American 1960s pop artist, Roy Lichtenstein, the collection is the result of Margaret’s lifelong love of his work. She says: “My background is in art so I had studied his work in GMIT in Galway years ago.”

“When I was in London and I’d visit the Tate and I always got excited seeing his work in the flesh. And while living in Edinburgh, I based the whole theme of the living room on a pair of Lichtenstein prints.”

As for the future, Ms O’Connor plans to become involved in the film industry, as well as the catwalks.

Indeed, she aims to be a global brand, and with Lady Gaga now a confirmed fan, it’s surely only a matter of time before we see her work on the red carpet at Anna Wintour’s MET ball!

Not too long ago we couldn’t help but be surprised at Lady Gaga’s unusually demure outfit choice.

Those style choices obviously didn’t last too long though as the Born This Way singer stepped out in New York City on Tuesday night wearing a tan coat, some denim cut offs and a pizza box. Pretty much.

The 29-year old pop star started her evening in a more clothed fashion while performing with her musical BFF Tony Bennett at Radio City Music Hall. After which she headed to the Rainbow Room for a more intimate show with some of her most loyal fans.

Wearing her coat, shorts and lacy white bra, she rocked her little monster fans worlds before posing for photos with them.

Hopping into her sleek black town car the Monster singer took off for a trip around Manhattan. Not one to leave the hungry photographers without a good shot, Gaga used the car’s sunroof to get in some sight-seeing. Still wearing the lacy lingerie.

Next thing we know, Gaga’s hopping out of her car to grab herself some Famous Amadeus Pizza in midtown Manhattan, strutting around sans bra.

All was still going fine and normal, normal for Lady Gaga mind you, until she left with her coveted pizza slices.

Not wanting to sacrifice her glorious carbs. Gaga gripped her pizza box tightly and covered her face. Letting all of the waiting paparazzi get their shots of the singer and her late night feast with bonus nipple sightings.

Seems like a pretty hectic night on the town for the singer, and we’re not that surprised she was willing to make some sacrifices in the name of her snacks.

Not that Lady Gaga is one to be afraid of showing off what she's got. On her recent trip to the Bahamas the star was flaunting all her best assets on Twitter while she soaked up the sun.

Lady Gaga never shies away from showing off her body on social media, but she showed this week that she's not doing it to make others feel insecure.

The singer's weight has yo-yo'd in the past but she is currently slim and toned thanks to a love of yoga and hard work at the gym.

Posting on Instagram yesterday, Gaga looked thinner than ever, although she made sure to explain to fans that her concave stomach was something of an illusion.

Sharing a picture of herself doing a crab-like yoga pose with an elastic strip around her legs the star wrote, "Up early for hip exercise! I have to do these everyday to keep my hip strong, otherwise I have pain. (fyi I'm not really that thin it's just the stretch! Trust me! Haha)."

Back in 2013 Gaga was left in too much pain to walk after injuring her right hip during a performance on her world tour. She was eventually forced to cancel the rest of the tour and later underwent surgery to fix the problem.

However as is clear from her recent Instagram post, the singer still needs to do certain exercises regularly to keep herself pain-free.

It's no surprise that the Born This Way hitmaker is being cautious with what she says and does on social media of late, as last week she became the subject of some scrutiny following a controversial tweet about sunbeds.

Many users hit back at the star for "promoting" the use of tanning beds when she took to Twitter to write, "Diet, diet, diet, gluten-free, plant, bio, macro, whatever. Sometimes a girl just needs a diet coke and a tanning bed."

Although the tweet was never deleted, it was discussed by a number of high-profile media outlets, and we're sure the bad news made its way back to Gaga's camp eventually.

Lady Gaga is known for her outrageous style, remember that time she wore the meat dress?

It’s also kind of hard to forget that time showed up in Paris literally dressed as a star.

Last week though, the pop powerhouse was at the opening ceremony of the 2015 Baku European Games in an unusually understated white flowing long-sleeved gown.

For all her usual outrageous antics and wacky onstage behaviour, it was her incredible vocals that were most on display as she covered John Lennon’s Imagine. From behind her piano covered in a blanket of flowers the ARTPOP singer delivered an incredibly powerful performance.

It’s been a while since she treated us all to a display of her impressive vocal range, and yes, it really is impressive. She moved the jam-packed stadium of sports fans to absolute awe as she put everything into the performance, especially that second verse.

The video has only now appeared on YouTube for us all to witness her musical prowess. It will give you chills, seriously.

Earlier this month, Gaga was in Britain to perform with Tony Bennett at the Royal Albert Hall in London but unfortunately had to cancel. The pair have confirmed they won’t be rescheduling because of their other commitments.

Still, Lady Gaga will be back in our lives next year as she’s set to star in Ryan Murphy’s highly anticipated American Horror Story: Hotel. We can’t imagine someone more perfect for the brilliantly creeping series.

The growing cast also includes Kathy Bates, Matt Bomer, Sarah Paulson and Chloe Sevigny.
