Second tragedy for Irish actress as her brother is found dead in Dublin
Irish actress Leigh Arnold was left devastated yesterday with the news that her younger brother Nicky has been found dead.
Nicky is believed to have died suddenly at his home in Foxrock, Dublin, though the family are currently waiting on a post-mortem for further details.
Leigh and her family are still in "total shock" a spokesperson told The Herald this morning.
"The family are extremely close and now just ask that their privacy be respected and that they are afforded the time to breathe and grieve."
The loss of Nicky comes as a second tragedy for the star of The Clinic, whose son Flynn passed away in 2013 from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.
Leigh and her husband, director Steve Davies, have two other children – three-year-old Hunter, and one-month-old Piper.
Speaking to VIP magazine last month, the actress said the grief of losing a child has caused her to develop a "hard" shell.
"You realise what matters and who matters in life," she said.
"There has to be a reason because otherwise what is the point? If you don't believe there's a reason, you'd just crumble and die."
