Well, we most likely still aren't quite over season eight of Game of Thrones.

For the most part, the writing was beyond ridiculous, and fans were so frustrated that some of them even began a petition to remake the final season.

Some of the cast-members showed up to a panel at the San Diego Comic-Con yesterday, and addressed the furious fan reaction to the series finale, which…bombed.

It's only been two months since the HBO hit show ended, but the wounds haven't quite healed yet, it would seem. We're trying to desperately forget that the season ever even happened.

The cast got back together on Friday to talk all things GOT, and referenced the Change.org petition to 'Remake Game of Thrones Season eight with competent writers' that got 1.6 million signatures.

Nikolaj CosterWaldau (Jaime Lannister), Maisie Williams (Arya Stark), Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran Stark), John Bradley (Samwell Tarly), Jacob Anderson (Grey Worm), Conleth Hill (Varys), and Liam Cunningham (Ser Davos) showed up to the panel.

They got candid about the hugely negative reaction to the final season, with Nikolaj mainly addressing the "level of absurdity of the online petition";

"Every season, we had huge controversies. From Ned Stark being killed, ‘I’m never going to watch that piece of shit show again!’ And then there was the Red Wedding. And obviously, the end," he continued.

"I feel so lucky to have met so may fans of the show, and to realise this show has brought so many people together. Watching it, loving it. So obviously, It comes to an end, it’s going to piss you off no matter what."

The Danish actor, who portrayed Jaime Lannister, added;

 "It’s the end! But at the end of the day, it’s absolutely fine. If you hated the ending if you loved it, that’s great. Just don’t call people names."

Conleth (the Master of Whisperers) joined in, saying;

"You look at the amount of people who are here. We are here to thank you for watching us all those years. This is the reality rather than a media-led hate campaign."

When Nikolaj was queried on his death scene, he said; “I thought it was perfect for him to end in the arms of Cersei."

Variety reported that some fans in the audience disagreed, and even booed the actor. “It made sense to me – that’s just my opinion," he said.

His co-star Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister) previously said she was “gutted” about how her character died under the pile of bricks, and even revealed further disappointment over a crucial Cersei scene being edited out of the show.

Legendary Game of Thrones actress Lena Headey has revealed that a deleted scene in season seven of the show could have changed how everyone saw her character.

If the deleted scene had been allowed to have stayed, the outcome of the iconic series may have been viewed in a different light.

Despised but badass queen Cersei Lannister let slip at a comic book convention in Munich that a key scene had been cut from the final episode showing.

The 44-year-old actress believes that the scene would have aided in explaining Cersei's actions and choices over the final season.

Lena revealed that the edited scene showed Cersei losing the baby that she was to have with her brother, Jaime Lannister.

She described it as a "traumatic" scene and a "great moment for Cersei," which was sadly left on the cutting room floor. Speaking about the potential shock plot denouement, Lena said: "I kind of loved doing that because I thought it would've served her differently."

Cersei had become pregnant with Jaime's child but had spent much of the final season convincing Euron Greyjoy that the unborn child was his, but it turns out Cersei wasn't pregnant at all.

The miscarriage would have arrived at the end of season seven. Lena has always been outspoken about Cersei's tame fate, and how it wasn't the dream death she had envisioned for one of the show's most cruel characters.

Speaking to The Guardian, Lena revealed: "I will say I wanted a better death. Obviously you dream of your death. You could go in any way on that show. So I was kind of gutted."

She explained; "But I just think they couldn't have pleased everyone. No matter what they did, I think there was going to be some big comedown from the climb."

Numerous accounts of conflict between the stars and director against the show's creators David Benioff and D B Weiss have been reported since the show ended.

Speaking to IndieWire, director Miguel Sapochnik said that he hoped the Battle of Winterfell would play out very differently; "I wanted to kill everyone. I wanted to kill Jorah in the horse charge at the beginning. I was up for killing absolutely everyone.

"I wanted it to be ruthless, so that in the first 10 minutes, you say, ‘All bets are off; anyone could die.' And David and Dan didn't want to. There was a lot of back-and-forth on that." he continued.

There has been a massive amount of backlash against DW Weiss and David Benioff since season eight aired, but the two lads have stood firm.

Most of you will have seen the viral image of the latest Game of Thrones episode, where one of the cast members seemingly got a bit of a caffeine kick.

Yes, somehow a Starbucks cup was left in the scene on a table in front of Danaerys Targaryen, Breaker of Chains and Drinker of Lattes.

The HBO show's creators, David Benioff and DB Weiss were also present IN the actual scene, and it was still missed:

Product placement definitely takes you out of the medieval fantasy vibe, and the show issued a tongue-in cheek reply to the error. The official Twitter account for GOT tweeted;

"News from Winterfell. The latte that appeared in the episode was a mistake. Danaerys had ordered an herbal tea." Nice one.

Queen Cersei Lannister herself, AKA Lena Headey, has now said her piece too, via her Instagram account.

Starbucks must be absolutely LOVING all of the attention and free marketing its getting from the latest episode. Let's hope the final two-and-a-bit hours of the world's favourite show doesn't make any more blunders….

Unless you've been living under a gigantic Game of Thrones rock, you know exactly who Kit Harington is. Many people know more about his most famous character, Jon Snow, than the actual man who portrays him.

Harington is the 32-year-old British hunk has portrayed the ridiculously attractive Lord Commander of the Night's Watch on HBO's iconic fantasy series for almost ten years now.

It's getting increasingly difficult to imagine him playing anyone other than Snow, guarding the Wall and taking down the dangerous White Walkers. Not to mention falling in love with powerful women like Ygritte and Daenerys Targaryen.

Harington owes a lot to The Snow Show, including his wife. He fell in love on set with Rose Leslie, who played his on-screen lover Ygritte, a feisty wildling.

With the premiere of GOT's season eight fast approaching, Jon Snow's watch will soon end, but what's next for the actor?

As dismayed as we are at the prospect of losing Snow, Harington himself is ready to hang up the cloak;

"I'd like to step away and enjoy the obscurity, cut my hair, make myself less recognisable as the character, and go do and some other things with a completely new look and tone," Harington told Entertainment Weekly.

He added, "I can't go into my next role looking the same. This role was brilliant, but I'll need to get rid of Jon Snow."

Harington underwent several roles outside the world of Westeros, starring in Pompeii, Brimstone and The Death and Life of John F. Donovan between 2014 and 2018.

The actor doesn't currently have any roles lined up after GOT airs the final season from April, with six lengthier episodes. Kit admitted that filming the final season was intensely gruelling.

Despite the fewer episode count, it took almost a full year in Belfast to film the last season of the successful franchise, with every episode the length of one movie.

It took 55 nights to film one Army of the Dead scene, so you'd 100 percent need a break after something like that.

"The last season of Thrones seemed to be designed to break us," he told GQ Australia. "Everyone was broken at the end. I don't know if we were crying because we were sad it was ending or if we were crying because it was so f*cking tiring."

Harington returned to his theatre roots last November, co-starring with Johnny Flynn in London's West End premiere of Sam Shepard's True West.

The show will run until February, and tells the tale of two brothers who are trying to sell movie scripts to the same Hollywood producer.

How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World have also enlisted Harington for his voice acting skills for the final part of the film trilogy. The GOT alumni voices Eret, who he also voiced in the 2014 sequel.

You definitely won't be seeing him in the Game of Thrones prequel, that's for sure. He shut that one down pretty quickly, telling the BBC;

"It was a huge emotional upheaval leaving that family. But would I want to go back and do more? Not on your life."

Darn it, we just can't get enough of Jon Snow. He may know nothing, but he's everything to us Game of Thrones fangirls, isn't he?

Lena Headey, Queen Cersei Lannister in Game of Thrones, has changed the #10YearChallenge game after posting an image of a polar bear, and now everyone feels hella guilty.

Rather than focusing on herself in terms of the ageing process, the actress instead chose to take a stance on climate change and its horrific environmental consequences.

Though her status has a LOT of cursing in it, it's understandable how angry she is considering the lack of lawmakers making vital environmental alterations.

"We don’t need votes on things that don’t need votes. We need bold INTELLIGENT leadership. WHERE THE F*CK ARE YOU ALL?" she concluded.

Lena isn't the only celebrity to focus on the environment, with Shailene Woodley posting an equally as disturbing image;

With reports that plastic waste is set to treble within the decade, and scientists discovering that the Great Pacific garbage patch is now three times the size of France, the conversation on plastic waste has come into the fray.

David Attenborough’s 2018 nature documentary Blue Planet made us sit up, listen and get serious about recycling, so maybe we need to talk to our lawmakers even more.

We're sure if polar bears could talk, they'd be cursing about it even more than Lena.

Lena Headey is the latest in a long list of women who has chosen to speak out against Harvey Weinstein in recent weeks.

Taking to Twitter this afternoon, the Game of Thrones actress revealed that she was propositioned by the movie mogul twice over the course of her career – exchanges which put her 'on high alert' and left her feeling 'completely powerless'.

In a series of tweets, the actress recalls her first meeting with Weinstein, explaining that she was at the Venice Film Festival when he made a suggestive comment.

"I just laughed it off. I was genuinely shocked, I remember thinking 'it's got to be a joke', I said something like 'oh come on mate, it'd be like kissing my dad! Let's go get a drink, get back to the others'."

Lena feels her rejection of Weinstein in that moment had an impact on her career, writing: "I was never in any other Miramax films."

The 44-year-old actress goes on to outline the next incident which involved Weinstein.

Assuming her initial rejection meant he was unlikely to make a second advance towards her, Lena found herself stunned when she met him for breakfast and was cajoled up to his bedroom.

"I'm not interested in anything other than work, please don't think I got in [the lift] with you for any other reason," she told him.

"He was silent after I spoke, furious," Lena remembers in her tweet. "His hand was on my back, he was marching me forward, not a word, I felt completely powerless."

"He tried his keycard and it didn't work. The he got really angry," she recalls.

After marching her out to the car park, Lena recalls Weinstein telling her not to tell her manager or agent about their exhange.

"I got into my car and I cried," she wrote.

Lena has been inundated with siupport since she decided to share her story with fans and followers, with one Twitter user writing: "This is heartbreaking. You didn’t deserve this. No woman deserves this."

Lena Heady, or better known as Cersei from Game of Thrones, has just given birth to a baby girl and she told the world over an adorable tweet.

She said "Hello peeps. All good. Just fallen in unconditional heartbreaking divine love for the second time."

This is Lena's second child as she already has a five-year-old son with her ex-husband, Peter Loughran.

Lena annouced her second pregnancy in February of this year, telling People magazine "I'm happy to confirm that I am having my second child this summer."

In a blog post some time later, the actress revealed that she would be having a girl, saying: "My daughter will have freedom of choice. She will be free to dance, to sing, to be educated in the fields that spark her passion, to marry if she wants, to marry WHO she wants, to remain single, or to fall in love with another woman."

"She'll be able to wear what she wants, put on lipstick, and read books that spark debate and expand her mind."

This baby is basically Game of Thrones royalty already, but we're just wondering will her mum allow her to watch an episode of her playing the devil's span that is Cersai Lannister?

Despite having attempted to keep her pregnancy under wraps at the beginning of the year, Lena Headey reluctantly revealed she was expecting her second child and appealed to the media for privacy, saying: "I hope that this announcement can help me to regain some of the privacy I have recently lost to prying photographers and ask that they please respect my privacy and let me enjoy this time."

However, in a recent turnabout, the usually notoriously private star has now opened up on her hopes for the future and gone one step further by actually announcing the gender of her unborn child.

Using her position as guest blogger on Plan International USA to discuss gender equality, the Game of Thrones star revealed she's soon to welcome a daughter into the life she shares with four-year-old son, Wylie.

Explaining one of the reasons behind her touching post on human rights. Lena explained: "I am having a baby girl in six weeks."

The actress, who plays Cersei Lannister in the smash show, went on to say: "My daughter will have freedom of choice. She will be free to dance, to sing, to be educated in the fields that spark her passion to marry if she wants, to marry WHO she wants, to remain single, or to fall in love with another woman."

Determined her little girl will live in a world devoid of gender inequality, the 41-year-old mum-of-one continued: "She'll be able to wear what she wants, put on lipstick, and read books that spark debate and expand her mind. She will be loved, protected, respected and celebrated."

Appealing to the public to help make a change on behalf of her unborn daughter, the star wrote: "All these things that should be, and will be, basic human rights, are a promise to my daughter. My humble request is that you give what you can and maybe – just maybe – we can bring about the change we all wish to see."

We don't know about you, but Lena's words have given us goosebumps.

Congratulations on your news, Lena!

Game Of Thrones actress Lena Headey has confirmed that she is expecting her second child. Speculation that Lena was pregnant began when she was photographed with bump last week – something she was unsurprisingly not so happy about.

Confirming her pregnancy to People magazine, Lena said that she hoped she could have her privacy back: “I’m happy to confirm that I’m having my second child this summer. I only hope that this announcement can help me to regain some of the privacy I have recently lost to prying photographers and ask that they please respect my privacy and let me enjoy this time.”

Lena, who plays Cersei Lannister in the hit HBO show, is thought to be dating her former co-star, Pedro Pascal since last year– though this has not been confirmed by either party.

Lena is already a mum to five-year-old Wylie with her ex-husband Peter Loughran. The couple divorced in 2013.

Congratulations to Lena on this wonderful news – we’re sure little Wylie is really excited! We really hope the paparazzi respect her desire to be left alone to enjoy this happy time in her family.

It sounds as if there may be a little baby joining the Game of Thrones crew!

Lena Headey, who plays Cersei Lannister in the hit HBO show, has sparked rumours she may be pregnant after she was spotted with a bump earlier this month and then again this week.

The actress is said to be dating her former Game of Thrones co-star, Pedro Pascal who played Oberyn Martell in the last series of the show – though neither has confirmed the romance.

Lena shared the cute photo below on her Instagram account last April with the caption: "sunshine love", meaning the couple will be celebrating almost a year together – how sweet!

Lena is a mum to five-year-old Wylie with her ex-husband Peter Loghran whom she divorced in December 2013.

Cersei will be hitting our screens again in April when GOT returns and we cannot wait to see what the evilest queen of all has in store for us this season – eek!

Congratulations to the star if this happy news is true!

Game of Thrones star, Lena Headey may have given away an accidental spoiler with a past snap on her Instagram account.

Lena shared a picture a month ago of rocks forming a shape of a heart with the caption: “my stone heart”.

While some just thought it was just a pretty art snap, many Game of Thrones fans have speculated that it could have something to do with the upcoming plot for the final episodes.

For those who haven’t read the books, it’s best you stop reading now, as there are major spoilers ahead.

Many believe that Lena’s “my stone heart” could be a nod to the significant plot line surrounding a new character, Lady Stoneheart.

Either ways, we can’t wait to see what will happen in the final episodes.
