So, NUI Maynooth may have undergone some structural changes in the past five years, but whether you attended in 2005 or 2015, there's something about that college that stays with you.

From wishing they'd install even ONE extra socket in the Arts Block reading room to wondering if the 66 bus was merely a figment of your imagination on wet and windy winter nights, attending NUI Maynooth brought with it many struggles.

But not one of them overshadowed the craic you had as part of one of the soundest, friendliest colleges in the country, right?

And here are just ten ways you know you won't be forgetting your time there any day soon.

1. Tackling that Godforsaken bridge to the south campus meant you REALLY needed a pass in that module.

"I'll just go on Moodle"

2. No matter how much you squinted, the statue of Pope John Paul always reminded you of a giant beetle.

"Sorry Mam, but you'd wanna see that yoke."

3. The resident cat of the Arts Block brought balm to your soul even when she ignored you.

"She's chilling out by the automatic doors, sure."

4. From the day you started to the day you graduated, you never managed to orientate yourself inside the library.

"How have we ended up back here AGAIN? Try those stairs."

5. The noise of the blender in Juicy Lucy made your fillings rattle and your temples contract.

"My hangover cannot cope with this."

6.  The canteen fire of 2008 was the defining moment of your time in NUIM.

"I'll never forget where I was…"

7. Mantra's opening night was your cue to get yourself some hefty notions.

"A round of strawberry daiquiris, Saoirse?"

8. The mile-long queue for O'Briens in the John Hume building made you question your love of carbs, but then you got called 'hun' by the friendliest woman on the planet.

"Worth it, definitely worth it."

9. A bottle of Kinsey vodka from Dunnes signalled a week off lectures.

"It's grand, I'll split it with everyone."

10. Manor Mills was the place to go when you needed a little last minute style.

"It's grand, we'll just grab a few nice tops and meet up in the Roost."

And if simply taking it all in isn't enough for you, then why not get involved and help Solus paint the final piece of this huge art installation on the spookiest night of the year?

For the countless fans who missed out on a Coldplay ticket last Friday morning, the latest news to emerge on the back of the Ticketmaster controversy won't make for pleasant reading today.

According to reports, Coldplay will not – repeat, will not –  be adding a second date to the Irish leg of their tour.

Dashing the hopes of fans around the country, MCD manager Denis Desmond confirmed that the suggestion simply isn't an option for Chris and the lads.

"There won’t be a second Coldplay gig in Dublin. They don’t have the time." he confirmed when quizzed on the issue.

“The band is playing only 15 gigs in Europe next Summer and only two in the UK," he added.

While their Irish fans won't be treated to a second date, a number of other European cities are getting the two-day treatment.

Bitter? Us? Yes.

While we might adore Halloween, we know the spooky season can be a little difficult on our furry friends.

From the sound of bangers to the sight of their human dressed as Harley Quinn from Suicide Squad, it can be a trying time for our buddies.

Thankfully for one little dog from Texas, his owner has done everything in her power to make Halloween as enjoyable as possible for him.

Taking to Twitter to showcase her skills in the design department, Tyson's owner has shared snaps of him getting his chill on in the slickest Halloween house we've ever seen.

"Yes, I decorated Tyson's house for Halloween & he's excited about it!" she wrote in a post which has been liked 20,000 time since its upload in recent days.

Unsurprisingly, Tyson's owner has been inundated with comments since sharing his new gaf with the public.

"I don't know you, but i just made your dog my wallpaper because i simply couldn't resist," wrote one girl who sounds a bit too much like us for our liking.

Countless Twitter users have shared snaps of their own pugs and even suggested that their pet and Tyson hang out and get their chill on together.

"Can our dogs be friends?" wrote one while another added: "I don't know you either but I have a pug and getting a pug puppy Tuesday. Can we be friends?"

Look at Tyson – bringing everyone together!

Let's be honest, Instagram has less to do with documenting your actual life, and more to do with projecting an image of the life you want, right?

And following Instagram personalities because you desperately want to live the life they purport to is standard procedure for many of us, but how many times have we been duped?

Well, if you were a fan of Louise Delage's Insta account, you've been duped at least once.

Louise's Instagram which shows a young woman living the high life attracted more than 50,000 followers, and while many coveted her lifestyle, the vast majority were unaware they were actually part of an experiment to raise awareness of alcoholism among young people.

French ad agency BETC explained that the campaign is on behalf of charity Addict Aide and served to highlight how easy it is to miss signs of addiction even with a close friend or family member.

Each and every one of Louise's uploads – from beach trips and country walks to days spent shopping and chilling out – all featured an alcoholic drink, and it was BETC's intention to highlight how easy it is to normalise excessive drinking.

"Sometimes it seems like in this era, the more people stage their ideal life on social media, the more that serves to hide a not-so-ideal reality," Stéphane Xiberras Paris told AdWeek.

In case you missed it, tickets for Coldplay's Croke Park gig went on sale yesterday morning, and despite queuing, refreshing, sweating and praying, countless fans emerged from their mission empty-handed.

And if Twitter is anything to go by, disgruntled fans know exactly who they want to blame.

Venting fury at Ticketmaster, members of the public have accused the outlet of providing their sister company with tickets which were ultimately sold at a higher price – an accusation which the company have denied.

Between the gig selling out in under forty minutes and tickets going for re-sale soon after, Twitter is not happy.

And while family and friends might be super busy creating totally on-trend costumes –  did someone say Harley Quinn? – there are more than a few of us who actually love to go traditional at this time of the year.

And that is why we’re all about Wicklow this month.

From soaking up autumn colours on afternoon walks in Wicklow’s picturesque woodlands to enjoying wildlife spotting and star gazing under the autumn skies at the Wicklow Mountains National Park, this is the kind of Autumnal celebration we can really get on board with.

And when the time comes to properly embrace Halloween? Why not uncover local folk laws and spooky tales as you explore Wicklow Gaol or hop aboard the Halloween Train for a trip through Rathwood’s creepy forest?

With countless events and activities kicking off mid-month and running until the spookiest night of the year draws to a close, Wicklow is definitely the place to be this month.
