We don’t think anybody could accuse Lily Allen of being fake – especially after this revelation!

The pop star, who is making her comeback into stardom with the release of her new album, Sheezus, has spoken about why she decided to make music again.

Was it because she just really missed writing music? Er, not really, no.

Lily spoke to Glamour magazine and said: “I wasn’t good at staying at home all day, it didn’t suit me. I’m creative, it’s just who I am … I missed the rush of performing. I missed the free clothes and handbags and the good tables in posh restaurants.”

We don’t think we can judge – free clothes and handbags sound good to us!

Lily Allen is one brave-slash-foolish pop star!

The 28-year-old singer took to the stage last night, at London’s G-A-Y club, for a zany performance that even poked fun at Queen of Pop Beyoncé.

Lily was launching her new album with a special preview set at the club, which saw her change outfits for each song surrounded by scantily-clad dancers.

For her encore, she poked fun at Beyonce’s Grammy Awards appearance, having a bucket of water thrown over her before performing a cover of Destiny Child’s ‘I’m a survivor.’

Joined by a male performer in his underwear, Lily danced around the stage soaking wet wearing a dodgy looking wig.

The singer is bound to be skating on thin ice after taking a swipe at Beyoncé and more of the world’s biggest stars for her new single Sheezus.

“RiRi isn’t scared of Katy Perry’s roaring, Queen Bey’s gone back to the drawing. Lorde smells blood, yeah, she’s about to slay you… kid ain’t one to f**k with when she’s only on her debut. We’re all watching Gaha lol haha… dying for the art, so really she’s a martyr,” she sings.

Careful Lily – you’ll have no friends left at this rate!

It seems Lily is taking no prisoners in her latest music video Sheezus, as the singer calls out a number of top female performers including the queen herself, Beyoncé.

Lily sarcastically demands in the song that Rihanna, Lady GaGa, Beyoncé, Katy Perry and Lorde move over and hand their musical thrones to her.

The singer even directly speaks of the each of the artists musical directions and says: “give me that crown, bitch.”

Lily said her new single is about her entering the music industry again as a female artist.

“And I guess the chorus talks about other people who exist in the scene and that women tend to be kinda played off against each other and it’s sorta sold to us or the way I read it is there is a queen and everyone else is in there kind of slip stream or whatever. And I guess what it’s trying to say is that we can all be Sheezus.”

Lily Allen has revealed that she has decided to dedicate her new album Sheezus, to the late singer, Amy Winehouse.

The Hard Out Here singer admitted that her and Amy weren’t that close and knew each other, more as acquaintances.

“She was not in a great place when we knew each other, so I don’t feel I knew Amy; I knew a version of Amy.”

But Lily spoke of the attention that surrounded the late singer and wasn’t sure how she would be able to cope with it all, if she were in Amy’s position.

“What she had to deal with was 10 times anything I had to deal with. She’d sold a hell of a lot more albums than me, and there was a lot more interest in her. There were people outside her home 24 hours a day, seven days a week. I know what that was like on a much smaller level, and I felt trapped. She couldn’t do anything or go anywhere without there being a frenzy; and she was all about life and enjoying herself and socialising, and when that’s taken away from you… she was a prisoner.”

Lily said that the reason Amy attracted so much attention from the press, was of result being “too damn interesting for her own good”.

It doesn’t look as if Lily Allen’s husband, Sam Cooper, is too impressed by his wife’s onstage antics.

The singer revealed that he asked her to “tone it down” now that she is a mum.

Talking about the request, Lily said: “He’s told me to tone it down now I’m a mum. On my last tour, when I sang ‘Not Fair’, I used to act out fellatio using my microphone … Recently, I have been rehearsing for this new tour and Sam said, ‘You’re not doing that again are you?’, I said not if he didn’t want me to. And he said no as he didn’t think it was good for the kids.

Lily gave birth to daughter, Ethel in 2011 and Marnie in 2013.

Lily Allen is one female artist, who is never afraid to speak her mind and in a recent interview with Rolling Stone, proved no exception. The Hard Out Here, singer gave her explanation as to why “women are constantly pitted against each other”.

Lily told the magazine, she is sick of being constantly compared with other female artists in the music industry.

“It’s annoying being a woman since everyone pits us against each other. I think in terms of humanity and evolution. It feels like the reason we play women against each other is because it’s the last bit of power that men have. They’re like, ‘Let’s make them feel shit about each other.’”

Allen went onto explain she rather be judged for her music and not simply because she is a woman.

“I don’t like being put in the same category as people because we have the same genitals and boobs.”

Lily, you got the music industry in a nutshell again.

The line up for this year’s Glastonbury festival has been revealed and it looks great.

The list includes big names such as: Lana Del Rey, Ed Sheeran, M.I.A., Lily Allen, Arcade Fire, Rudimental and even the legendary Dolly Parton.

The festival will take place from June 25th to June 29th.

Loved ones of pop star Lily Allen have told her to slow down with her weight loss as she continues to shed the pounds.

Lily shrank down from a size 12 to a size 8 as she returned to the spotlight recently after a two year break.

But the 28-year-old singer’s friends and family now fear she’s becoming unhealthily thin and is obsessed with her figure as her fame continues to climb.

Lily previously spoke about how ‘reprogramming’ her brain helped her lose the weight.

“After the hypnotism, I want to go to the gym every day, otherwise I feel really bad. I just want to get more toned and healthy. I’m really good about everything at the moment – I’ve never been happier,” she said earlier this year.

Lily Allen said she felt Amy Winehouse was recording with her last year,  as she happened to be working in the same studio as the late singer had made music in.

Lily said during a recording session for her current album she could still feel that Amy still had a presence in the room.

“Mark Ronson and I worked in the studio where he worked with Amy Winehouse. I felt her ghost was there. I felt so untalented in comparison”.

Winehouse died two years ago of alcohol poisoning aged 27.

The Hard Out Here singer also revealed that she finds it general very hard to write songs and often gets insecure about her own musical abilities.

“I find song writing nerve-wracking. I feel anxious about whether it sounds silly, whether I’m good, whether I’m worth all the fuss. I feel a fraud and that I’m about to get found out.”

Well, we don’t agree with you there Lily.

Although Lily Allen isn’t the first to sign up to dating app Tinder, her intentions for signing up are questionable.

When the 28-year-old mum recently spoke of her children, she hinted that her life could do with a bit of spicing up:

“I love my children, but I’m a very impatient, busy person naturally so two babies, neither of them can talk, it was quite boring,” said the pop singer.

After signing up to the smartphone app which allows users to potentially find love, the Smile singer shared her excitement with her Twitter fans.

She tweeted: ‘Just discovered Tinder. *Waves goodbye to life*.’

Lily even changed her Twitter name from Lily Cooper to Lily Allen – that can’t be good.

Surely Lily Allen knew that naming her upcoming album Sheezus would make Kanye West angry. In fairness, it doesn’t take a lot to get him going.

The singer has admitted she is worried she will get an angry phone call from the rapper at some stage.

Lily named the album as a homage to Kanye’s 2013 album Yeezuz. We doubt he’ll see it that way.

Talking to Australian radio station Nova, Lily said: “I’m terrified – I thought he’d think it was a diss, but it’s totally not a diss, I love Kanye, I think he’s brilliant.”

Uh oh, does Fearne realise what she has let herself in for? If there is a list of people we wouldn’t mess with, we reckon Lily Allen would be number one, closely followed by the Gallagher brothers and Kelly Osbourne.

Speaking on the Breakfast Show, BBC 1 with Nick Grimshaw, Fearne explained how Lily snubbed her the previous evening at the Brit Awards: “Lily Allen blanked me last night. Five times. She blanked me five times in a row.”

Fearne also told Nick how she had also snubbed her boyfriend, Jesse Wood: “And she blanked Jesse. You know my boyfriend is the nicest guy in the world…blanked.”

Of course, Lily was never going to take this lying down and took to her Twitter account to voice her disagreement with Fearne’s allegation and to question why she didn’t just approach her: “@Fearnecotton I did not blank you. That is simply not true. I didn’t see you or your husband…@Fearnecotton any, why couldn’t you just come over a say hi yourself?”
