A restaurant in Kerry has put up a sign banning ‘loud Americans’ from their premises.

Peter’s Place in Waterville, Co. Kerry have caused outrage with the sign which read: “No Bus/Coach or loud Americans. Thank you.” And it’s not only tourists who aren’t happy with the sign – locals are angry as they depend on the tourist season to make a lot of their money, and a sign like this will tarnish the town’s reputation.

People took to Twitter to vent. One person quipped: “It must be nice to have your money made.”

Another said: “I’m not an American but Waterville must be the weirdest and most unfriendly place I’ve ever visited in Ireland or even the world.”

Yikes. That was NOT a smart move guys!
