Louise Duffy and Paul Galvin share the CUTEST pre-wedding snap
GAA star and fashion aficionado Paul Galvin is now a married man, after tying the knot to his long-term love Louise Duffy today.
Shortly before heading to the church, Louise took to Instagram to share an oh-so sweet throwback snap of herself and Paul, simply captioning it 'My boy.' D'aaaw.
The pair braved a windy day in Crossmolina, the hometown of Today FM presenter Louise, to tie the knot in a traditional Catholic ceremony.
Louise walked down the aisle of St Tiernan's Church – the same church where she made her First Communion and Confirmation – wearing a stunning lace gown by Irish designer Kathy de Stafford.
She accessorised with simple silver and blue jewellery from Dublin-based Juvi Designs.
As for Paul, he used the opportunity to show off some of his Dunnes Stores menswear collection, wearing a three-piece black suit which is currently available in-store. Handy!
The newlyweds left the church under a hurley-laden guard of honour, before heading to Beleek Castle to celebrate with their 200 guests.
Speaking about her wedding plans recently, Louise said she was excited to be able to combine New Year's Eve and her post-wedding bash.
"The place we're getting married in is just beautiful, but for New Year's Eve, I want it to be magical with lights and candles and everything," she told Irish Country Magazine.
As for her stunning dress, the bride was keen to keep things traditional. "It’s better to put your own stamp on it but have something that will remain beautiful and not be annoyed and try and hide my album in years to come," she said.
And looking at today's gorgeous snaps, we doubt Louise will have anything to hide.
