Which Mad Men star is ashamed of their ‘soft-core porn’ past?

Jon Hamm might be known all across the globe for his iconic role of Don Draper on Mad Men, but the actor has admitted before he achieved any fame, he had to work in “soft-core porn”.

But steady on ladies, the actor never starred in any of these raunchy films, he was just the set-dresser.

“I was actually at that time working as a set dresser for Cinemax soft-core-porn movies. It was soul-crushing.”

Poor Jon, but needless to say he’s found the job of his dreams and couldn’t be happier.

“This is the best job I’ve ever had and maybe ever will have in my life — it’s so fun to play all of this. It can be relentlessly dark. It can be terribly sexually inappropriate, is a way to say it. But who else gets a chance to do any of that stuff? There’s so much there.”

We’re glad you’re happy Jon but, we still can’t imagine you working in any role in the porn industry.

Mad Men costume designer releases new leg couture collection

Mad Men fans have been given a glimpse of show costume designer Janie Bryant’s upcoming collection of hosiery which will be released this autumn.

The affordable collection, priced between $18 and $35, is called Janie Bryant Leg Couture, and is expected to be sold in stores in the U.S, including Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom, and Dillard’s.

The designer said of the line, “I wanted to fill the place in the market for women to be able to buy legwear that is beautifully designed with amazing details, but also at an amazing price. It’s definitely about affordable luxury.”

The Emmy-winner, whose previous costuming credits include Deadwood, says that she has a “true passion for legs,” and thinks that when properly approached, tights can be the most interesting part of an outfit.

Designs include delicate fishnet tights and full lace leg looks.

“Leg Couture is for the modern woman, even though [the line includes] some vintage-inspired styles like the seam-back stay-up and the sun-kissed stay-up,” she said.

The collection already has a celebrity fan in Mad Men’s Christina Hendricks who said of the line: “I can’t wait to wear the Janie Bryant Leg Couture tights. Janie is such an amazing designer and really knows how to fit a woman’s body to flatter all shapes.”

Christina Hendricks has become famous across the world for her sexy role, as Joan Harris on Mad Men.

But the actress has revealed her husband, Geoffrey Arend knew his wife would be loved for her gorgeous figure, before anyone else did.

“Ha! Whenever we see something about it, he always says, ’I told you from the beginning. I’m the one who called it first.’ So he just wants a little credit. Really, he’s sweet and he’s happy for me.”

Christina has been married to Geoffrey for five years, but revealed that couple aren’t really interested in starting a family.

“We got a puppy, and that’s my idea of starting a family. People say, ‘Oh, that’s practice for parenting,’ but if it’s practice for anything it’s to be a mom to another puppy. We’ve decided that we are not really interested in having children… It’s just very normal for people to say, ‘Well, when you guys have kids…’”

Even though, Christina admitted she is happy with the way things are, she says there is always a small chance she might change her mind when it comes to kids.

Christina Hendricks’ curves once caused a bike accident

Christina Hendricks has become famous across the world for her curves, but it seems the star’s gorgeous figure once caused a small traffic accident.

Hendricks who was appearing on the chat show Conan revealed that when she was visiting friends in England a few years ago, her curvy figure may have unintentionally caused a bike accident.

The Mad Men star said she was waiting for friends outside a pub when a cyclist came by and was so unable to stop staring at Christina, that he ended up crashing his bike and landing on the curb.

“This guy was riding a bike by and he starts staring at me. Louis is watching it from a distance and he said the whole thing went in slow-mo. The guy just hit the curb and flew off his bike into the street. But this was one incident!”

Well with a gorgeous figure like that Christina, it’s easy to understand why the cyclist couldn’t keep his eyes on the road.

January shared this adorable snap of her and her two sisters posing for a photo on her Instagram account for Throwback Thursday.

It may be a surprise for those of us who are used to seeing January as the feminine Betty Draper in Mad Men, with her styled hair and 50s style dresses, to realise that the tomboy in the middle of the photo is actually January.

She captioned the photo: “The Jones sisters are here to remind all homely little girls to dream big.. anything is possible with the confidence to ignore judgement, encouragement from a friend, love for yourself and the patience to grow out a bad haircut. #tbt#mybangsareNOTsupposedtobefeathered.”

January then added in the comments section: “I’m the tomboy in the middle, obviously.”

Aww, we think she looks adorable and is obviously very happy judging by the wide grin which is the most important thing.
