While the film game in 2015 was strong, there was also some seriously stunning movie posters to match. 

Seriously, we would hang half of these on our wall as art!

So whether you even like the film or not, check out our favourite movie posters of 2015:

Who could say no to that FACE though. 

6) The Lobster 

It's always impressive when a poster says a lot about a film, but doesn't give the game away.

We love the vintage feel to this one.  

5) Jurassic World 

This poster impressively picks up on a strong theme in the film, that humanity cannot overpower nature. 

But apart from that, this is just an awesome visual. 

4) Crimson Peak 

Artsy and creepy – this poster says everything you want to know about the film. 

And it kind of freaks us out. 

3) It Follows

A spine-tingling film that pays homage to old horror classics brings a welcome retro feel to it's poster. 

And with that hook line, this is more than enough to get you into the cinema. 

2) Magic Mike XXL 

We know what we want from these films and this poster is not afraid to give it to us. 

Definitely one for the ladies. 

1) The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2

Perhaps the most anticipated movie of 2015 really delivered an amazing visual for it's poster.

This image of Katniss sitting on Lord Snow's throne still gives us chills.

“The Irish are hot.” Why thank you Matt Bomer, we think you’re pretty easy on the eyes also. 

After college,the Magic Mike XXL star moved to Galway and says he fell in love with the “celtic swagger” they we possess. Can’t say we’ve heard that one before, but thanks all the same Matt.

He says it helped him develop the skills necessary for those stripper scenes. 

Matt says that “that city [Galway] changed me.” The 37-year old dad of three (married to Hollywood publicist Simon Halls) had previously been studying theatre before he decided he wanted to get out of the States for a while.

Matt said he had family roots here in Ireland decided this was the place to be. He admitted that he found it a little difficult when he first arrived:

“I was probably a little shy because I hadn’t been out of the States much but [the Irish], they have that self-assurance, that swagger, it’s so infectious and crazy amazing. The Irish are hot.”

At the premiere for Magic Mike XXL in London Matt said that if you were in Galway some 15 years ago he could have been the one serving your drinks. Who knew.

He was a bartender at Busker Brownes and a waiter at Kirby’s on Cross Street. He obviously has some fond memories of his time here as he credits it with helping boost his career.

He says after living in Galway that he “definitely built up more confidence which can’t have hurt my career.”

While he says that he loved his time in Galway in the past and it’s one of his “favourite places in the world”, he’s not the only one in his family with a passion for the Irish nation. His sister married a Galway man herself.

So does this mean Matt could be relocating to our hopeful shores soon? Maybe! Matt told reporters in London:

“I need to get back sooner rather than later. I miss that Celtic swagger,”

We can’t wait for you to show us that Celtic swagger in person next time Matt.

The release of Magic Mike XXL is quickly taking over the entire internet. From red carpet premiere snaps to videos of Channing Tatum 'Vogueing', it is impossible to spend more than five minutes online without seeing a hairless dancing torso this week.

But this morning, it's popping up everywhere for a different reason. We're not sure if you think this is good news or not, but all of your favourite Disney princes have been given the Magic Mike XXL treatment (i.e. they have been turned into strippers). 

Artist Isaia Stephens, the artist of these pictures, posted them to his Facebook page saying "here are some Disney fellas gettin' their Magic Mike on for their ladies!"

Isaia made sure to add that he tried to make the pictues "as lighthearted and fun as possible" to avoid offending anyone.

Magic Mike XXL is hitting cinemas around Ireland today… these should get you in the mood for it:

It is no secret that Channing Tatum began his career working as a male stripper in a nightclub after he finished high school in the late 90’s.

After all, it was his career as a stripper that eventually led him to star in his most popular role to date, Magic Mike and Magic Mike XXL.

But with the sequel to our all-time favourite stripping movie almost ready for release, we have to wonder, is Mr Tatum going to hang up his thong for good?

In a cover interview for next month’s Vanity Fair, the 35-year-old discussed the awkwardness of getting your kit off on stage but, he also admitted that he may have one (or two) last performances left in him.

“Well, we’re going to start a Magic Mike show in Vegas, and I’ll never say never. I wouldn’t mind going out there and doing it one more time. Or maybe twice,” the Foxcatcher star revealed.

Group trip to Vegas, anyone?

“ But, you know,” he continued, “every time I’ve put on a thong and am getting ready to walk onstage again, I’m like, ‘Why do I want to do this?’ It’s very uncomfortable to be in a thong in front of a thousand people.”

At least we know that Mrs Dewan-Tatum is on our side when it comes to her husband’s nudity. Speaking about the upcoming Magic Mike XXL, Jenna said to her husband “You cannot have a movie without these guys getting in thongs.”

Amber Heard has opened up about the difficulties of coming out as bisexual in Hollywood.

The Magic Mike XXL star came out to the public as bisexual in 2010 when she was dating photographer Tasya van Ree.

In an interview with The Times, Ms Heard explained that at the time she “didn’t know of anyone else in my position who was a working female lead actress” who had made their sexuality public knowledge.

The star of The Rum Diary explained how she doesn’t want to hide from her sexuality but she also doesn’t want to be defined by it.

“I don’t want to have to deny my sexuality in order to be me. But I don’t want to have to be defined by it. I’m fundamentally opposed to trying to edit myself to be palatable or popular.

“I don’t give a f**k. I fight, but I shouldn’t have to,” the 29-year-old admitted.

Amber also opened up about her role in the forthcoming Magic Mike XXL. Ms Heard clearly appreciates the reversed gender roles in the film, with the men being the recipients of objectification. As she said, “It’s a film about men seeking sexual attention… It gives the power position to the women.”

Sounds like Ms Heard has a lot in common with Hollywood heartthrob Chris Pratt who also believes that men should be checked out more in the name of equality.

When we hear the words Magic Mike, generally the first thing that springs to mind is sexy greased-up men gyrating on stripper poles.

Now imagine hearing that name as an eight-year-old child. What do you think they think about?

In a hilarious episode of The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon had Channing Tatum act out some short scenes that were written by primary school children. The kids were told to write a short story based around the title, Magic Mike.

As you can imagine, combining the sultry tone of Channing’s 'Mike' with the innocent stories of schoolchildren has quite an effect.

From seductively pumping up an imaginary bike to Mr Tatum and Jimmy Fallon performing a duet as magic birds, the clip ensures a lot of laughs… even if it is ever-so-slightly disturbing!

Have you ever wanted to know what Channing Tatum calls his penis or what his superpower would be? Well… you are SERIOUSLY in luck.

The Magic Mike XXL star was a lot more candid than anyone expected when he answered fan's questions in his Reddit AMA.

The 35-year-old admits that that in a zombie apocalypse he would run to Sandra Bullock’s house because she is “dope and kick-ass.” Channing also seems to be harbouring some strange sexual tendencies towards a certain Mr Danny Devito, with references to the actor in just a few too many of his answers! 

Here are some of the best questions and definitely the best answers that Channing gave.

What would be Channing Tatum’s superpower? He wants to see you naked.

We expected him to say flying… this was WAY better.

“I wish that I could make anyone at any point just happen to be naked. Not for the reasons that everyone thinks. Because people get really nice when they get naked. Like okay, I can’t be an asshole. People aren’t assholes when they get naked (for the most part). They are thinking about what they look like. Sh***y answer, I tried to do something funny and it didn’t work.”

When asked if his penis has a nickname…

“Gilbert.”

We’re not entirely sure that we want to hear an explanation to that one!

When he can only bring three things to a deserted island? Sounds like a fun abandoned island to us. 

"How about a magical seashell that’s always filled with bourbon. And I would like a magical palm tree that had a lot of shade with instead of coconuts there’s just peanut butter jelly sandwiches with Cheetos underneath. And my wife that is always happy and possibly naked."

The question we all want to know… does Channing go full frontal in Magic Mike XXL?

“I do not do full frontal but I can promise you when you’re standing in front of a bunch of people in a very small thong it doesn’t leave a lot to the imagination.”

Kill one, marry one, f**k one… Ray Romano, Danny Devito, and Gilbert Gottfried?

“I’d f**k Danny Devito, as I was saying earlier it could be fun. I’d marry Ray Romano, because I think he has a pretty solid perspective on marriage. I don’t know who would be the male or female, you figure it out. And I like Gilbert Gottfried but I wouldn’t mind killing him.”

And thankfully, one brave fan asked what we’ve all been wondering. Jupiter Ascending? What was that?

Channing Tatum just could not stop himself from dancing this weekend. And we are not complaining.

The Magic Mike XXL actor and co-star Matt Bomer were at L.A’s Pride festival this weekend and jumped at the chance to twerk on top of one of the festival’s floats at the parade.

The 35-year-old dancing heart throb joined a posse of scantily clad buff men on the float to dance the afternoon away. The float itself was Magic Mike themed and even included a set of disco balls.

Wearing a plain white t-shirt and rocking a rainbow bandana Channing busted out some of his trademark killer moves to a track from the 2012 Magic Mike soundtrack… and some Nineties tunes.

For the next installment in the Magic Mike universe Channing has taken on the role of producer and screenwriter as well as acting in the sequel.

When speaking about the project Channing has called it “a stripper odyssey”. The film is set to be released on 31 July and also stars Matthew McConaughey, Joe Manganiello and Alex Pettyfer. It's also bound to include plenty of other shirtless men if we judge it by the trailer.

The end of July might seem pretty far away right now, and while we may not have been able to catch a glimpse of the hot guys dancing in person, Instagram and Twitter users were on top of things for us, recording the Channing’s dance moves from every angle.

And he did a lot of dancing. He just couldn’t stop dancing it seems.

There is literally no sexier couple on the planet right now than Sofia Vergara and her fiancé, Joe Manganiello.

And just in case you were wondering…

Oh yeah – that’s him.  

Somehow we don’t think that either of this beautiful duo are going to have any trouble looking good on their upcoming big day.

But even the stunning Sofia needs to keep an eye on herself and enjoy everything in moderation.

In an interview with E! News, the 42-year-old Colombian beauty opened up about maintaining her physical appearance as part of her Hollywood life.

“I think I’m very sexy in general,” the Modern Family actress joked. “In our business, we always have to maintain. We can’t just not work out for seven months and eat chocolate all day long.”

Ms Vergara went on to explain how she tries to keep everything in moderation, even when her favourite thing is sweets.

“Everything in moderation. Sweets are my life. Sweets are something that I love and really make me happy.” Oh, we know that feeling!

While Sofia and her 38-year-old Magic Mike XXL star fiancé have been keeping a tight lock on their wedding plans, she did open up about how she wants her wedding to be about fun.

“To me, it’s not all about perfection but all about fun. Great music, great alcohol and great food.”

And we have no doubt that they are going to look SERIOUSLY great too!

Happy birthday, Johnny Depp! Today he turns 52… and the actor is marking the occasion by celebrating with his 29-year-old wife. 

Incidentally, Amber Heard herself has a milestone to mark: namely her Elle magazine cover.

Gracing the July edition, she is sporting a skin tight white Thalepo one piece paired with a Ralph Lauren Collection wool jacket.

In the accompany interview, the Magic Mike XXL star speaks about the lack of decent roles for women in Hollywood as well as what life is like with her famous husband.

The actress goes on to say that despite being given “a stack of scripts” every month, she doesn’t see many roles for females that have any real depth.

Amber explains: “It seems to me a deeply saddening injustice that we are so uncreative and uninterested in developing representations of female life." In short, it seems she’s tired of playing supporting female roles for male leads.

She also comments on her fear of losing her freedom because of her fame stating: “I never want for my life to lose the ability to transverse the world, with freedom and ease.”

Which makes sense considering no matter where they go, there is an immense about of interest in her husband.

Speaking of Mr Depp, Amber says there's been no "dramatic change” since they married in February and that she feels taking the plunge was a “fairly organic process”.

If you're squeamish, look away now.

As part of the promotional tour for Channing's new movie Magic Mike XXL, the actor underwent a pretty drastic transformation… and it's given us the creeps in a big way.

After inviting a number of unsuspecting fans to a "special 3D screening" of the new movie, Channing posed as a seriously slimy marketing executive, supposedly there to chart viewers opinions of the film.

It's amazing what some facial putty, a wig and a dodgy accent can do, because all of a sudden we're not quite so attracted to the 35-year-old star.

He even showed off his twerking skills, giving one or two ladies a personal lap dance…while still in costume. Shudder.

Luckily, the cinemagoers were let in on the prank before they left the theatre, and even got a chance to meet Channing without that awful wig.

Speaking about his bizarre prank, the actor said he got a kick out of being wholly inappropriate while in costume. ""I really enjoy that stuff. I'd go around in a costume every day if I could for no other reason other than all bets are off," he admitted. 

"You don't have to be responsible and you can do whatever you like, especially as an older person. No one ever says anything if you're slightly older and saying weird stuff to people."

Magic Mike XXL, the long-awaited sequel to 2012's Magic Mike, hits cinemas next month.

Well ladies, if you're in need of some Wednesday motivation you've come to the right place!

The trailer for the Magic Mike sequel, Magic Mike XXL was released today. By about 10 seconds in we had already called the cinema to pre-book our tickets.

Let's just say there are a lot of topless men. 

The film is released in cinemas nationwide on July 31… we're not sure we can wait that long!
