This priest had the whole wedding party dancing… in a Galway church
It has amassed more than 465,000 views since its upload last Friday, and it's not hard to see why.
With the local church in Menlough, Co Galway as the backdrop, an entire wedding party danced with each other in front of the alter… at the behest of Fr. John O' Gorman.
Shared by Make My Day Productions on their Facebook page, the footage shows Fr. O' Gorman bring the father of the bride to his feet before leading him to the bride for an impromptu father/ daughter dance.
To the tune of Your Wedding Day By Jimmy Buckley, Rois Lydon danced with her father before her new husband, Paudie Mannion, got to his feet with Rois's mother.
With applause echoing throughout the church, the rest of the wedding party got to their feet and danced, with Fr. John O'Gorman saying: "If you can dance in a hotel you can dance in a church".
"Below is just one of the great moments from the wedding of Rois M Lydon and Paudie Mannion. Trailer to come later," read the caption of the video which has been liked more than 5,500 times so far.
Ladies, this is one to remember.
