MAC have unveiled their new Viva Glam Rihanna 2 Collection and, needless to say, it is amazing!

Rihanna is getting us all out of our make-up comfort zones with a strong and  frosted metallic mauve lipstick and lipglass, based on Riri’s famous and fearless style.

We cannot wait to try this out on a night out on the town!

The gorgeous products come in a soft, velvet packaging that feature the superstar songstress’ signature, and if that wasn’t enough, proceeds from the new collection will go towards helping people affected by HIV/AIDS.

The Viva Glam Rihanna 2 Collection will be exclusively available in Brown Thomas and BT2 stores across Ireland from September.

Just like all of Rihanna's MAC collections, this one will no doubt be a sell-out!

After arriving into the office with humidity hair and sweaty faces yet again, the SHEmazing! girls have decided enough is enough! We've worked tirelessly to compile the ultimate list of tips and products to make you look 'Hot but not hot' while the temperatures soar.

Hair

Conditioner: The sun is going to frazzle your hair, so treat it to a strong conditioner each time you wash it. This will keep your locks in good condition, while helping them resist the humidity.

Salt spray: If your hair is very fine, it’s likely to go limp in the heat. Salt spray is a great way to boost volume and texture, while giving you beach-worthy waves. Toni & Guy Casual Sea Salt Texturing Spray is one of our favs!

Cover up: If your hair refuses to behave or is getting greasy too quickly, you can’t go wrong with a classic wide-brimmed hat, paired with Audrey Hepburn shades. A pretty scarf wrapped around your head will also do the trick.

Skin

Stay safe: Nothing says ‘sweaty mess’ quite like lobster skin – and let’s not even start with the health implications! Make sure to apply a top-notch sunscreen to all exposed skin. Ambre Solaire Protection Lotion (SPF30) is a go-to for us, although we swear by Ambre Solaire Dry Mist (SPF50) if we’re heading down to the beach.

Banish scales: With bare arms and legs on show, make sure your skin is in tip-top condition by regularly exfoliating during showers. The healthier your skin is, the nicer your tan and the healthier your glow.

Face

Waterproof eyes: No sooner does the sun appear then your perfectly applied eye make-up smudges and runs, giving you drunk-girl panda eyes. Combat this by investing in good waterproof products, such as Rimmel’s Exaggerate Waterproof Eye Liner and Benefit’s BADgal Waterproof Mascara.

Peach blush: In all that heat, your skin is going to be prone to redness, so you need to stay far away from red-tinted hues. Peach blush suits all skin tones and will give you a fresh glow.

No more sweat: A freshening spray like Urban Decay's All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray is the perfect way to cool your face down when you're feeling flushed. As well as setting your make-up, it makes your it super resistant to heat and humidity.

Now make this list your bible and be the beauty we know you are!

Beauty is a mass of ever fluctuating changes of what is in and what is so last year. With so many changes happening it can be hard to keep up.

However, right now all you need to do is focus on these five beauty trends, the rest can wait until next week’s changes.

Bed head
Messy top knots, loose braids and less-than-perfect ponies are so hot right now that you would be forgiven for putting your hairbrush away for a few weeks.

Eyeliner
Eyeliner has never really gone out of fashion, but this season it’s all about heavy liner. While it’s not particularly practical for the office, bang on layers of the stuff when you are heading out.

Nail art
There are so many options for nail art that you must have been hiding under a rock not to have noticed it slowly creeping onto the scene. You can either go free hand, invest in a stencil or buy stick on ones. Either way you’ll be bang on trend if you have funky art on your nails.

Pink lips
Whether you go for a pale or bright tone, you need to invest in a good pink lipstick. No doubt red will be back on trend in the winter so don’t throw out that classic colour just yet.

Green nail polish
Green polish looks great with a tan. Invest in a light, pale colour, a bright neon one or a subtle teal. There are so many options out there you will literally be spoilt for choice.

Heading to the beach? Don’t forget to pack these much needed beauty essentials to ensure you always look your very best on the sand.

Suncream
The must-have beauty essential doesn’t only protect your skin from burning, it also keeps lines and wrinkles at bay.

Tinted moisturiser
Leave your heavy foundation at home and instead pop a tinted moisturiser into your bag. Try to buy one with an SPF for extra protection.

Waterproof mascara
If you plan on cooling yourself down in the ocean, make sure you have waterproof mascara on. Don’t go for a colour that is too dark either, instead go for a dark brown that looks a little more natural for a beach setting.

Waterproof eyeliner
If you can’t bear to step outside without eyeliner on, make sure you bring a waterproof one to the beach. No one looks good with panda eyes.

Lip balm
The sand and sun can cause your lips to become quite dry so regularly apply a lip balm to keep them smooth. Your lips can also be forgotten about when it comes to suncream so get one with an SPF.

Just in time for the sun to pop out his head, MAC have released a range of collections that are sure to make you feel and look fabulous all summer long.

For your face, Pro Longwear SPF 20 Compact Foundation now provides the same incredible ten-hour wear of Pro Longwear Foundation, in a lightweight cream compact perfectly suited for touch-ups on the go. Available in 17 shades, from light to medium to dark, Pro Longwear SPF 20 Compact Foundation glides on comfortably, with a natural matte finish and broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection. To bring summer colours into your life, go for the MAC Pedro Lournco collection which includes daring hues  juxtaposed against soft nudes, all encased in limited-edition packaging. The Nude Quad gives eyes a subtle metallic finish, while cheeks are flushed in Powder Blush (Duo). Cream Colour Base adds an icy lustre to eyes and cheeks as two Nail Lacquers provide an haute flash of colour for a chic complement to any look. Lips make a definitive style statement and a subtle swipe of Lipglass is the perfect finish, guaranteed to intrigue.

Not forgetting the brows, MAC The Waterproof Brow helps to define brows and accentuate their natural shape. The waterproof formula is sweat-proof, smudge-free and humidity-resistant – perfect for when it gets too hot to handle.

Finish the look with Zoom Waterfast Lash, Splashproof Lash or False Lashes Waterproof and your brows are gorgeous to go.

We were well aware of celebrities having collaborations with certain cosmetic ranges including Sharon and Kelly Osbourne with MAC and Little Mix with Collection to name a few. However, were you aware of just how many celebrities have to their own beauty range?

Here are the top six celebs who have their own cosmetics range:

Drew Barrymore
It seems Drew Barrymore is not simply into acting – the mum-of-two also owns her very own cosmetics company, Flower Beauty. It’s all organic but is currently only sold in America.

Heidi Klum
The supermodel collaborated with make-up artist Linda Vay to create her very own make-up line which was aptly named Heidi Klum Very Sexy Make Up Collection.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen
Is there nothing these girls can’t do?! Mary-Kate and Ashley cosmetics mean that you too can look all vamp-like, just like the twins.

Cindy Crawford
The former supermodel’s own skin may be enough to want to purchase something from her skincare line, Meaningful Beauty – whatever that means?

Victoria Beckham
This woman certainly doesn’t do things by half measures. The fashion designer had a make-up line, V-Sculpt, which was sold in Japan. Unfortunately, we’re pretty sure it’s discontinued now….

The Kardashians
This does not surprise us – it’s like they’re trying to take over the world! Kardashian Beauty was set up so that their fans could have access to affordable luxury make-up.

Beauty regimes are important to keep skin clean, clear and blemish-free. Unfortunately, some of us are a bit lacks when it comes to taking care of ourselves.

Here are 5 ways that your beauty regime or lack-thereof is hurting you.

Weekly facials
While you may think you are doing your skin a world of good, you are actually doing more harm. Steam used to open pores can lead to broken capillaries in your face and deep cleansing can lead to scarring if not done properly.

Heavy foundation
Skin needs to be able to breathe and thick, heavy foundation can actually suffocate it. If you are trying to cover up blemishes, use a concealer on these areas and a lighter foundation everywhere else. The caked look was never in anyway.

Rubbing eyes to remove mascara
Well done on taking your make-up off, but rubbing your eyes too much in your quest to remove your mascara is not good. Doing this can cause your lashes to fall out and leave your eyes red and puffy.

Over tweezing
No one likes thick, unruly brows but neither do we like over-plucked ones. Go with your natural brow line and don’t try to change the shape of your eyebrows.

Sharing make-up
Frantically asking someone, anyone, if they have eyeliner you can borrow is a common scene in nightclub bathrooms. However, by doing this you are transferring bacteria from one person to another and sure you never know where it’s been.
