Celebs all over the world are asking Irish people to get out and vote
Today, May 22nd 2015, is a landmark day for the Republic of Ireland as we are asked to vote in the Marriage Equality referendum.
Irish people from every corner of the world have been travelling home to cast their vote, and those who can't or aren't eligible have still been taking to social media to encourage others to have their say.
Celebrities from Ireland and beyond are also joining in the conversation, asking us all to get off our bums and down to the polling station today.
Here are a few of our favourite celebrity tweets so far…

Similar journeys were made in 1995 for the Divorce Referendum and then we watched the results coming on the Saturday, and celebrated.
