An American woman was queuing at the Eiffel Tower a week ago when she spotted a man on the verge of proposing to his girlfriend.
Jen Hurd Bohn subequently took some seriously romantic pictures of the couple as he popped the question – thankfully she said yes, and they kissed and hugged in celebration.
Jen afterwards took to Facebook to share her observation – with the snaps now going viral in the hope that the husband-and-wife-to-be can be found.
Ms HurdBohn captioned her Facebook post: "Saw this guy propose to this girl on the Eiffel Tower Sunday 6/21/15 wanted to send them the pics but was stuck in line. Help me find them!"
Jen commented on the post guessing they were too from America "I want to at least try!
"I've got friends across the country and, by their clothes, I'm guessing they're from the US. Somebody knows somebody who was in Paris last week and got engaged…"
This Facebook post has now been shared thousands of times and has even featured on news stations across America.
The relationship between Mariah Carey and her billionaire boyf James Packer is certainly moving fast.
Indeed, significantly the couple will today jump on his personal jet, making a journey to Israel.
There, according to TMZ, they will attend together a private “pre-engagement spiritual seminar”.
The spiritual leader organising the event knows James well, and it is said that the businessman trusts him and his advice implicitly. In fact, the Australian father-of-three, who is worth around €5bn, feels the meeting is a must before he asks Mariah to marry him.
However, once today has concluded, it will be very much full steam ahead with a proposal: friends of James, 47, believe that the duo will be engaged – and possibly even married – before the year is out.
They recently enjoyed a sun-drenched holiday in Capri off the west coast of Italy – thus confirming publicly for the first time their union.
Both James and 46-year-old Mariah, a mother-of-two, have been married twice before.
Ms Carey, herself worth some €450m, split from her husband Nick Cannon 18months ago, but their divorce has still to be finalised.
This marriage proposal video has gone viral over the last few days with almost two million views on YouTube and counting, and once you watch it you'll know what everyone's getting so excited about.
Sam and Jess have known each other since they were ten, so Sam knew he had to put in some serious effort when it came time to propose. Although he admits Jess has been "dropping hints for years" he still wanted to make an effort to surprise her.
And make an effort he did. The plan, which Sam says took "months," started when he told Jess that his cousin Matty needed a couple to star in his new music video.
The theme of the video? A first date. With a restaurant being set up as the main location, Sam also arranged to get some gorgeous shots of the couple together, and all the while Jess was told it was part of the video.
When the couple arrived at the restaurant, Matty serenaded them with a specially written song all about love and, you've guessed it… marriage. So you can imagine how emotional things got when Sam finally proposed.
Held in the picturesque Italian costal town of Portofino last month, Georgia Salpa married businessman Joe Penna in a stunning ceremony.
The 30-year-old Dublin model, who wore two gowns on her Big Day, took to Instagram following the ceremony to thank the couple's family and friends for what was evidently a truly magical day.
The bride and groom had opted to keep the ceremony and celebrations largely private, save for a sneak-peak of her second, evening-time dress which was published by SHEmazing! Guests also posted some beautiful shots of the venue and table arrangements.
However, thankfully for her many fans, Georgia's been a lot more open about her incredible honeymoon – an amazing-looking trip which brought the love-birds to San Diego for a few days and then on to BoraBora for a ten-night break.
Indeed, we reckon the glorious snaps are the perfect pick-me-up to brighten up a Monday evening.
So without further ado, we bring you Georgia Salpa's incredible honeymoon diary – as told in her own pictures…
The duo evidently had lots of fun in the Californian city of San Diego. On their arrival they visited the world-famous zoo there, and also took a tour around the harbour area on Segways. Georgia, naturally, looked incredibly pretty in a navy playsuit.
Still, being on honeymoon is no excuse for missing your regular work-out sessions – for which Georgia is well-known. She went running while in San Diego, taking advantage of the gorgeous weather by going out in a brightly-coloured crop top and leggings.
At least working out means you can tuck into some serious treats, including cake. Ms Salpa made sure to buy a baked delight from a quirky cupcake ATM.
Her first snap from Bora Bora – a tropical Pacific Ocean island paradise which is part of French Polynesia – showed her sitting cross-legged on a wicker chair. She wore a casual straw hat and aviator sunglasses too.
Mr and Mrs Penna are certainly a health-conscious couple – and they made sure to get in the likes of bicycle rides while at their resort.
On other occasions, they mixed-up their keep-fit activities by going for a hike
To pass the time, they also played cards – though in Bora Bora the means propping up a table in the sea and playing while waist-deep in warm water.
Proving she's not a one-trick pony, Ms Salpa also showed off her incredible body in an amazing one-piece swimsuit, which she bought a vintage shop in San Diego.
Another shot also showed her walking up the beach in a beautiful, wide-brimmed sun hat and a neutral-colour swimsuit.
Home-time: all good things must come to an end, and Georgia – the new Mrs Penna – has now returned to Spain, where the couple is based. Congratulations, Georgia and Joe!
Suffice to say we're pretty confused right now: are long-distance loves Louise and Alik breaking up… or actually getting married?
After Monday's Made In Chelsea (the same episode in which serial love-cheat Spencer was exposed as a, ahem, love-cheat), it looked as if Ms Thompson and Mr Alfus were also getting ready call time on their union.
While the couple made vague promises to each other to try and make their cross-Atlantic relationship work, their level of commitment seemed rather questionable.
But, in a surprising turn of events, friend of the couple and fellow star, Jamie Laing, has announced that he thinks Alik is about to PROPOSE to his girlfriend.
“I think they will be engaged soon, I’m not even joking. I don’t see why not,” the McVities heir told OK! online.
“They’re so in love and they’re great for each other.”
Alik, a 26-year-old New Yorker, had to return to his home in the US to help his father run their family business.
After months of living with Louise in London, fans of the show have been wondering why on earth she won’t just move to New York to be with him.
Stephen Fry and his husband, Elliott Spencer, have been forced to shorten their honeymoon because of homophobia.
The newlyweds tied the knot in January, and have been travelling around the world ever since.
The couple were enjoying their holidays in Honduras when they had to leave because of anti-gay sentiments towards them.
It is not clear exactly what incident occurred but the Mail Online reported that Mr Spencer said “we had a problem when we visited Honduras on holiday.”
“It was homophobia. I don’t want to go into detail, but we had to leave.”
While homosexuality is not a criminal act in the Central American country, it is believed that there is hostility towards gay people. Same-sex marriage is still illegal in Honduras.
The 27-year-old married the QI host six months ago in a registry office in Stephen’s home county before they began their traveling honeymoon.
Elliot opened up about the many trips he has taken with his new husband who is 30-years older than him. “Many of the countries Stephen’s been to before, but he likes to see them through new eyes with me,” the self-proclaimed comedian revealed.
“It has been an amazing experience,” he added.
Let’s hope that the newlyweds aren’t deterred and go on to have the trip that they deserve.
Has Zoe Saldana found the perfect man? Definitely!
Actress Zoe has been speaking of her husband Marco’s decision to take her surname upon their marriage – rather than the other way around.
Oh, and did we mention he is really really ridiculously good-looking?
The Guardians Of The Galaxy star sits beaming on the cover of the July issue of InStyle magazine, in which she reveals how Italian artist Marco Perego took her name after the two secretly married back in the summer of 2013.
Zoe explained that she even tried to talk him out of taking her name, despite being "proud" of him.
She stated: "I tried to talk him out of it. I told him: 'If you use my name, you’re going to be emasculated by your community of artists, by your Latin community of men, by the world,'" she told InStyle.
"But Marco looks up at me and says [she puts on a cute Italian accent]: 'Ah, Zoe, I don’t give a sheet'.”
Ms Saldana recently posted a Facebook status about her husband's decision to take her name, urging men to defy gender stereotypes.
"Fathers, sons, brothers, men everywhere: Your legacy will not perish if you take your partner's surname, or she keeps hers.
"I’ve been made aware that a comment I made regarding my marriage has garnered some attention. I felt proud that my husband decided to take my last name as his own… and I his.
"Why is it so surprising, shocking, eventful that a man would take his wife's surname? Women have never been asked if its OK for them to give up their names – why doesn’t that make the news?
"Men, you will not cease to exist by taking your partner’s surname. On the contrary — you’ll be remembered as a man who stood by change. I know our sons will respect and admire their father more because their father lead by example."
The couple had twins boys back in November 2014, and Saldana has furthermore spoken about the challenges and changes that motherhood brings.
It has been claimed that Premier League footballer, Papiss Cisse, got married abroad without telling his TWO girlfriends back home.
The 30-year-old Senegalese star married international volleyball player, Diallo Awa, in Paris last week, after only a short time together.
His love-interests at home in England, Rachelle Graham and Natalie Gibson, were none the wiser.
Ms Graham, 24, has now explained that when the Newcastle player initially failed to reply to her messages while away, she became worried. After some online investigation, she then discovered the pictures of his wedding.
Admittedly, the pair had an on/off again relationship which they officially called quits on last year.
But according to Rachelle, who was named Miss Newcastle in 2012, they had being spending a lot of time together recently and it seems she was hopeful of permanent reunion.
Certainly, she had no idea he was engaged to someone else.
According to the Daily Mirror the footballer, who earns an eye-watering €55,000 a week, was also dating another 24-year-old: Natalie Gibson.
It has been reported that Ms Gibson told a friend: “I knew nothing about it until I saw all the reports."
She is said to have added: “I thought we were going out together and I had no idea he was going to get married in France – and certainly I knew nothing about any other girl. It was a terrible way to find out.”
Beauty queen Rachelle took to Twitter to explain her devastation about hearing the news – and to defend herself against those who claimed she was only dating the footballer for his money.
Did Joshua Jackson let it slip that he and long-term girlfriend, Diane Kruger, have finally gotten married?
The Dawson’s Creek star was one of many celebrities at the CFDA Awards last night in New York, alongside the beautiful Ms. Kruger.
While working his way through the star-studded crowd, someone whistled at Joshua to which he responded, "I’m assuming that was my wife," referring to his beautiful date, Diane.
So, have the pair finally tied the knot? Joshua met Diane, star of Inglorious Bastards and Troy, in 2006 and the pair have dated ever since, while impressively managing to stay out of the media spotlight.
In the November 2014 issue of Glamour, Joshua explained why the couple had yet to wed. “We’re not religious. I don’t feel any more or less committed to Diane for not having stood in front of a priest and had a giant party," he explained.
That said though, the Cruel Intentions actor didn’t rule out the possibility of getting married down the line.
“We’re both children of divorce, so it’s hard for me to take marriage at face value as the thing that shows you’ve grown up and are committed to another person. But it may change at some point. We may get married," he told the magazine.
According to Hollywood Life, that "may" is looking more and more like it may have become a "yes".
Whether they are married or not, Joshua and Diane seem to be one Hollywood couple that is getting it right. So, whatever they’re doing, we hope they keep it up!
She's married! Yes 30-year-old Georgia Salpa is officially off the market: she wed her fiance Joe Penna in the Italian costal town of Portofino yesterday afternoon.
The couple, who have been together for three years, said their vows in front of 100 guests – most of which had flown in from Dublin and London over the preceding days.
Earlier today, she took to Instagram to share the first snap of 'Mr and Mrs Penna' – who were both looking remarkably fresh-faced despite the night's festivities.
"Truly the most magical, romantic perfect weekend," the bride said in the accompanying caption. "We couldn't have wished for a more amazing wedding.
A photo posted by Georgia Salpa (@georgiasalpa1) on
"It was a fairytale, and in every way a dream come true!" she added. "Thank you so much to all our family and friends for making it so special for us. Incredible few days, so much love."
Significantly, however, they both kept their ring fingers on their left hands covered so as not to reveal their wedding bands.
As well as their immediate families, Michele McGrath, Louise Johnston, Emily Mackeogh, Karena Graham, and Maurice Flynn were all also in attendance.
One report suggested the bride opted to wear a full-length veil and that her figure-hugging, ivory-coloured gown, which she sourced in London, was embellished with subtle beading and crystals.
Sadly, however, only invitees know for sure as the former Celebrity Big Brother contestant has yet to release an image of her wedding day attire.
The couple booked two other spectacular venues in southern Europe before changing their minds and swapping to Portofino – a location known for its opulence and luxury.
Guests were treated to a sunshine-drenched champagne and cocktail reception at a five-star venue overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, before sitting down for a top-class meal and expertly-matched wines.
The food was inspired by the local Lingurian region, with fresh pesto, focaccia, and fish all featuring.
Georgia and Joe were engaged in India in the autumn of 2013, where they were holidaying at the time.
The model later revealed that her beau had gone all out for the occasion – arranging a candle-lit dinner on the beach and fireworks to make sure it was an evening she never forgot.
They were first seen canoodling three years ago in Marbella, with the Dubliner's publicist shortly afterwards confirming that she and Joe were indeed dating. The businessman already has one child from a previous relationship.
Earlier this year, Georgia was in Barcelona for a three-night hen party with her closest friends. In a series of snaps posted online, she was seen donning party attire complete with a novelty veil.
She also spoke to The Herald in advance of her nuptials, explaining: "It's not going to be a big thing, it'll be quite low key.
"We would just rather have it for ourselves and a have a nice day. It's going to be really chilled with just close friends and family."
The newlyweds are well-known for their love of travel, and regularly jet off to exclusive locations in the Middle East, Indian Ocean, south-east Asia, and the Caribbean.
It is not yet know where their honeymoon will take them, however, it is believed that they plan on staying in situ for a number of days as most of their guests are still in the locality.
Georgia and Joe enforced a strict 'no photos, no social media' rule for the ceremony and reception, and – incredibly – not one image has so far emerged.
The pair shunned lucrative magazine deals in order to keep their day totally private. The move was hardly surprising, given that Georgia has previously said in her Star newspaper column: "Personally I would never go for an exclusive picture deal.
"Your guests sometimes have to sign contracts and they’re not allowed to take pictures. I don’t think your wedding is your own."
You’ve made it through the ceremony without a hitch.
Your dress, which took you months to source, has been inundated with compliments and showered with admiration.
And every so often, you can’t help but glance with pride at your new husband.
In short, your Big Day is going swimmingly – you’re overjoyed.
Until, that is, one of your guests marches up towards the top table, gets down on one knee mere metres from where you and the groom are seated, and proposes to his already squealing girlfriend.
A few gathered invitees whip out their phones to capture the moment, and a few more break into awkward applause.
You’re simmering with fury, but all you can do is grin and bear; smiling through the intense anger.
This scenario may seem implausible – but for one seemingly unsuspecting bride and groom, this is an incident they were recently forced to endure on their own wedding day.
The moment has since been shared on Reddit, garnering some 3.7m viewers and more than 1,500 comments.
And understandably, the online reaction has largely sided with the newlyweds.
"This is up there with my uncle giving my cousins a puppy at my birthday party," remarked one user. "That's the saddest thing I've ever heard," another uttered sympathetically.
"That is the f***ing definition of 'stealing my thunder' right there," someone else stated. "Her smiles says 'congratulations', her eyes say 'that b***h'," one user wrote.
A minority, however, failed to see the issue: "Why is this a problem?" one asked. "It's supposed to be a happy night and this would make the bride happy if she was her sister etc."
It is believed that the event took place at a recent wedding in the US, though the bride and groom remain unidentified.
The newly-engaged couple have also yet to declare themselves publicly.
A permanent split seemed unavoidable 18months ago: Khloe Kardashian filed for divorce from her husband of four years citing “irreparable differences”.
At the time, Lamar Odom, 35, was at the centre of infidelity claims, as well as accusations of a serious addiction to crack cocaine.
However, the former professional basketball player yesterday confessed to waiting photographers in Santa Monica that he believes a reunion with his wife is possible.
He added that Ms Kardashian is still “his girl,” quietly stating: “That’s my wife.”
TMZ has the exclusive footage of Lamar’s revelation.
While married, 30-year-old Khloe struggled to become pregnant; an ordeal that was well-documented during the filming of their spin-off reality TV show Khloe & Lamar.
The couple, who exchanged vows in September 2009 less than a month after meeting, had signed an iron-clad pre-nup in advance, and her friends and family had very much expected a quick and easy parting.
However, two months after Khloe’s move to dissolve their union, Mr Odom was seen wearing his diamond-encrusted wedding band en route to catch a flight to Spain from LA.
And neither has taken any action to move the necessary paperwork along for more than a year.
Indeed, it has been reported that a Californian judge is threatening to dismiss their application because it has become stagnant.
Last year, Khloe had an on-off relationship with rapper French Montana, but appears to be now single.
A year ago she moved out of the marital home and into a €6.5m Spanish-style villa in Calabasas – a home she bought from Justin Bieber.
Meanwhile, Lamar has recently been dating a former flame, Lara Manoukian – a relationship which is said to have deeply upset his estranged wife.
