marriage

It's now official: Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan are husband and wife.

They said their vows this afternoon in front of 120 of their nearest and dearest, including Towie's Lydia Bright and James Argent, Coronation Street's Brooke Vincent and Antony Cotton, as well as Emmerdale actor Kelvin Fletcher.

The 27-year old bride walked up the aisle to Shania Twain's From This Moment On.

A member of the choir who sang at the ceremony afterwards commented to The Mirror that while Michelle was remarkably composed throughout, Mark was "a little bit emotional" and shed a few tears. "It was a lovely service," they added.

Unusually, Boney M's By The Rivers Of Babylon was among the featured music.

The pair hadn't seen each other since Friday afternoon, opting to spend the final 48hours before their Big Day apart.

Accompanied by his eight groomsmen and travelling in a giant stretch Hummer, Mr Wright, 28, had turned up at 12.20pm at the pretty St Mary's Church in the town of Bury St Edmunds in the east of England.

Ms Keegan, however, kept everyone waiting a full half an hour – arriving accompanied by her father, Michael, a little after 1.30pm.

The bride had her heart set on a horse-drawn carriage, but security and privacy concerns necessitated a last-minute swap to a white vintage car – complete with blacked-out windows.

Crowds of local residents had lined the streets hoping to catch a glimpse of the pair, but a €1.7m glossy magazine deal meant they were left disappointed.

Still, eagle-eyed bystanders observed that Mark was dressed in a swish black tuxedo and bow-tie. Spectators also noted that the seven bridesmaids on duty wore baby blue, floor-length dresses with diamante detailing on the shoulders.

The wedding party later transferred to the opulent Hengrave Hall in Suffolk, a 16th-century manor, for a lavish reception.

On the menu was the likes of posh fish 'n' chips, and savoury pies with mashed potato.

This evening, a further 100 invitees joined them for top-notch entertainment, fireworks, and yet more delicious food including €25-a-pop kebabs sourced from one of the couple's favourite restaurants. A cocktail bar, fairground carousel, and candy cart are all also on offer.

DJ Pat Sharp, who knows Mark from their stint together on I'm a Celebrity back in 2011, told Mail Online today that he will be playing a set this evening.

Mark and Michelle got engaged just nine months after meeting. It has been reported that in total they will end up forking-out €1.4m on their various wedding celebrations.

It is not know yet where they will honeymoon, but it is believed that they have been offered an all expenses trip to Dubai, the city where they first met in December 2012.

Here at SHEmazing! we’re not going to ask you to vote yes in tomorrow's marriage referendum.

But then, we’re not going to tell you to vote no either. And we’re unwilling to weigh-in on what age our presidents should be.

Here’s what we are requesting: that you vote.

Tomorrow is a hugely important day in this country’s history. But in many other ways, it will be like any other Friday.

Because it will be busy and it will be hectic. People will be jumping on buses, sitting in traffic, going to work, juggling appointments, and honouring commitments. And we all know how unexpected annoyances crop up at the most irritating of times.

In short, despite good intentions it’s not always easy to make it to your local polling station.

But if you’re unable to vote, then you’re unable to make your voice heard, and you will be prevented from exercising your right to shape this country’s future.

So please, don’t assume you’ll vote “at some stage”. Instead, plan your day; leave your house a half an hour before you usually do; get an earlier bus home “just in case” – but do whatever it takes to guarantee that you are present and correct, free and able to mark the yes or no box as you see fit.

And then, as the result emerges over the weekend, you can at least know that you played your part – regardless of the outcome.

Polling stations will be open from 7am to 10pm. See www.refcom2015.ie for more information.

Now if this isn't dedication, then we're really not sure what is!

When Dean decided he wanted to marry the love of his life, Jennifer, he knew he was going to have to do it with some style.

So, taking 365 days from the day of his decision (Jennifer's birthday) he wrote on a board EVERY DAY before showing it to her in Aruba with her friends and family there.

When the video tell her to turn around…be prepared to BAWL.

It has only been about a week since Hilary Duff filed for divorce from her husband Mike Comrie after five years of marriage.

The couple split in 2014 but the divorce was only filed when Mike was accused of propositioning a woman for sex in Beverley Hills last month.

Mike and Hilary have one child together, Luca and are still on good terms but it sounds as if the divorce has taken its toll on Hilary’s outlook on love. Speaking to Cosmopolitan, the singer said she’s not sure she believes in ‘happily ever after’ anymore:

“I don’t want to sound bitter because I’m definitely not, but I don’t know if people are meant to be together forever. Things happen over a long relationship that you can’t always fight. A marriage of 20 years, the accomplishment of that must feel really great, but there are also huge sacrifices.”

Speaking about getting married at the tender age of 22, Hilary said it just made sense: “Mike and I were very in love when we met. We both really wanted to get married. I’d been working since the age of 11 or 12, so making that choice at a young age seemed right for me.”

However, Hilary says, things began to shift: “It was just a slow set-in of us not being the match we used to be. I’m lucky for the person he is and I am and how we decided to handle this.”

Wow, it seems like these two definitely have the ‘mature break-up’ down!

It has been rumoured that Johnny Depp and Amber Heard have tied the knot in secret!

The couple, who have been engaged since Christmas 2013, were spotted wearing what looked like wedding rings at the premiere for Johnny’s new movie, Mortdecai.

Johnny’s engagement ring hit headlines shortly after the news of his engagement to the actress, and now it looks as if that ring has disappeared, only to be replaced with a new one. Hmm!

Given that Johnny is generally quiet about his private life, it wouldn’t be all that surprising of the couple have decided to tie the knot in secret.

This will be the second marriage for Johnny who was married to Lori Anne Allison in 1983 before divorcing in 1985. The actor has two children with his former partner of fifteen years, Vanessa Paradis.

RTÉ broadcaster Marian Finucane looked brilliant in black as she married her partner, John Clarke, at Dublin’s registry office earlier today.

Marian wore a gorgeous black coat with a fedora-style hat while John’s suit was set off with a single red rose in his breast pocket.

The radio presenter and her partner of thirty years have two children together, a son named Jack and a daughter, Sinéad. Sinéad sadly passed away in 1990 when she was only eight years old.

Marian has been a broadcaster with RTÉ since 1976 and currently presents The Marian Finucane Show at weekends.

Congratulations to the happy couple and we hope they enjoy their special day!

This woman just got served!

We're all guilty of being a little picky when it comes to choosing the right guy, but we hope we'd never be as fickle as this woman who posted to a forum asking for advice on how to find a man with a "$500k annual salary."

Luckily, one clever man threw some serious shade with the perfect reply!

The woman's post began: "I’m going to be honest of what I’m going to say here. I’m 25 this year. I’m very pretty, have style and good taste. I wish to marry a guy with $500k annual salary or above. You might say that I’m greedy, but an annual salary of $1M is considered only as middle class in New York. My requirement is not high. Is there anyone in this forum who has an income of $500k annual salary? Are you all married? I wanted to ask: what should I do to marry rich persons like you?"

What we really love though, is this amazing reply from a man claiming to be the CEO of banking and finance company JP Morgan:

"Dear Ms. Pretty,

I have read your post with great interest. Guess there are lots of girls out there who have similar questions like yours. Please allow me to analyse your situation as a professional investor.

My annual income is more than $500k, which meets your requirement, so I hope everyone believes that I’m not wasting time here. From the standpoint of a business person, it is a bad decision to marry you. The answer is very simple, so let me explain.

Put the details aside, what you’re trying to do is an exchange of “beauty” and “money” : Person A provides beauty, and Person B pays for it, fair and square.

However, there’s a deadly problem here, your beauty will fade, but my money will not be gone without any good reason. The fact is, my income might increase from year to year, but you can’t be prettier year after year.

Hence from the viewpoint of economics, I am an appreciation asset, and you are a depreciation asset. It’s not just normal depreciation, but exponential depreciation. If that is your only asset, your value will be much worse 10 years later.

By the terms we use in Wall Street, every trading has a position, dating with you is also a “trading position”.

If the trade value dropped we will sell it and it is not a good idea to keep it for long term – same goes with the marriage that you wanted. It might be cruel to say this, but in order to make a wiser decision any assets with great depreciation value will be sold or “leased”.

Anyone with over $500k annual income is not a fool; we would only date you, but will not marry you. I would advice that you forget looking for any clues to marry a rich guy. And by the way, you could make yourself to become a rich person with $500k annual income. This has better chance than finding a rich fool.

Hope this reply helps.

J.P. Morgan CEO

Obviously not a couple for a long engagement – Eddie Redmayne is tying the knot with his fiancée in a romantic ceremony in England TODAY!

The actor will wed Hannah Bagshawe in a winter wonderland themed ceremony at Babington House in Somerset later today – how perfect does that sound?

Eddie and Hannah became engaged during the summer and announced the news through an article in The Times that read: “Mr. E.J.D. Redmayne and Miss H.J. Bagshawe. The engagement is announced between Edward, son of Mr and Mrs Richard Redmayne of London, and Hannah, daughter of Mr. Nicholas Bagshawe and Mrs. Caryl Bagshawe, both of London.”

The cute couple made a red carpet appearance at the premiere of Eddie’s new movie, The Theory of Everything where Hannah showed off her stunning engagement ring.

Hannah and Eddie aren’t the only couple who had their wedding at Babington House, as Millie Mackintosh and Professor Green chose the stunning venue for their nuptials back in September 2013.

Whether we want to admit it or not, most of us girls have, at some stage in our lives, pictured the moment the love of our life would get down on one knee and pop the big question.

Regardless of whether you’re attached or not, fantasising about a special proposal is as standard an exercise as placing a pillow case over your head as a five-year-old and making your way up the aisle (also known as the front hall) to meet your Prince Charming (also known as the six-year-old next door neighbour who you secretly hated.)

We’re certain though that none of the proposals you pictured ever looked like these.

1. Well, that's all well and good, but who's going to wash that romantic garage door of love now?

2. We'd have devoured this before we realised WHAT was going on.

3. No.

4. We're not sure what Mild Sauce said, but we're sure it was a yes.

5. Why? So we can have a big, festive 'weeding'?

Really lads, really?

Hats off to Scarlett Johansson. The BAFTA award-winning actress managed to organise a wedding and say ‘I do’ without anyone finding out for over two months!  Almost unheard of in Hollywood, right?

Even when certain pieces of jewellery raised questions at recent events, the stunning pair still managed to keep schtum! But it's now been revealed that 30-year-old Scarlett tied the knot with French journalist and creative director Romain Dauriac in a private ceremony in Montana at the beginning of October.

The couple began dating back in November 2012 and their engagement was announced in September of the following year. The smitten pair then welcomed baby daughter Rose Dorothy into their lives in September of this year, but the normal fanfare surrounding a celeb wedding had yet to kick off.

Playing down any hype, the stunning actress recently told Glamour magazine: “We’re just going with the flow. I’ve never been one to do a full-on themed wedding. I don’t care about that stuff.”

Scarlett, who was previously married to actor Ryan Reynolds, has spoken about marriage in the past, saying: “When I was first married, I was much younger. And I have had the opportunity now to work more on getting to know myself. I think that makes you a better partner and somebody who is able to work with somebody and stay in a relationship in the not-romantic moments.”

Belated congrats to the gorgeous family!

Every couple – married or otherwise – fights from time to time. It’s totally normal – unless you’re famous and it gets caught on a long lens, that is!

Which is exactly what happened to Brad and Angelina, after they were snapped having what is being called: “The final fight.”

While we’re not so convinced about that particular part, the discussion they are having certainly looks heated, and Brad looks to be quite frustrated about the whole thing.

We’re sure the couple, who are known to be dedicated parents to their six children, will be just fine, so let’s not panic just yet!

In fact, it was only today that a video was released showing Angelina opening up about her marriage, saying: "I'm gonna be a better wife. I'm gonna cook!"

Watch out for the moment Angelina gets SUPER awkward when the reporter mentions we first met the couple on Mr & Mrs. Smith, which is when they are alleged to have begun a relationship, despite Brad still being married to Jennifer. Eek! Catch it at 2.02!
