Meghan Markle

There are only a handful of weeks to go until the Royal Wedding and we are beyond excited for the big day. Our minds have been buzzing with questions about the wedding, from the guest list to the all-important question- what will Meghan’s dress look like?

The former actress has won us over with her edgy and chic style, so we’re sure her wedding dress will be a true crowd pleaser. Rumour has it that Meghan will follow in Kate’s footsteps and opt for a lace dress with long sleeves.

The designer behind the bride-to-be’s dress has yet to be confirmed but rumours have been whirling around that the Suits star has chosen Ralph & Russo, who also designed the stunning dress she wore in her official engagement photos.

Fashion trends have drastically changed since the 1980s, so Meghan won’t be wearing a similar dress to Princess Diana, but she will be honouring Harry’s late-mum in a very special way.

Meghan may be wearing the Spencer Tiara which Diana donned on her wedding day back in the July of 1981. Wearing this tiara would be such a sentimental move by Meghan.

Both Meghan and her fiancé Prince Harry have been vocal about how they will honour Diana’s legacy on this journey, with Harry using diamonds from her collection in Meghan’s engagement ring.

Speaking of his darling mom, Harry shared, “The little diamonds either side are from my mother’s jewellery collection to make sure that she’s with us on this crazy journey together.”

Harry believes that Meghan and Diana would have been the best of friends, and stated that they’d have been “as thick as thieves.”

We must admit that we were pretty excited when Lifetime revealed that they were making a movie about our favourite royal couple Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

We have been counting down the days to the Royal Wedding, and this teaser trailer has made us that little bit more excited.

Starring Parisa Fitz-Henley as Meghan Markle and Burgess Abernethy as Prince Harry, Harry and Meghan: A Royal Romance will follow the pair’s love story, featuring some of their most memorable moments, including the engagement.

We aren’t the only ones who are looking forward to this cheesy movie. Fans quickly commented on the teaser trailer, “Viewing party at my house! pyjamas and wine,” one fan joked.

Another added, “I'm a big dweeb but I really can't wait to watch what will undoubtedly be a schmaltz-fest.”

We will certainly be hosting a movie night when Harry and Meghan: A Royal Romance is released.

Lifetime confirmed that the movie will make it’s debut on Sunday, May 13.

Yesterday, the Duchess of Cambridge and Meghan Markle appeared at the first Royal Foundation Forum, which was also their first royal engagement together. They both wore stunning complementary blue dresses and were accompanied by their significant others.

Considering this was only Meghan and Kate's second time being pictured together (the first being on Christmas Day), the event sparked speculation among people about whether or not the two get on well.

Cosmopolitan UK brought in body language expert and author Judi James for her analysis of their relationship.

"There seemed to be a 'team member' respect for one another but they also seemed to steer clear of any more overt displays of sisterly friendship," Judi revealed.

However, she noted that the smiling expressions of both couples indicated that a 'strong family vibe' has developed between the pairs.

The body language expert noted that the Suits actress seemed mostly focused on Prince Harry, but 'sat listening intently' whenever Kate spoke.

As a member and a member-to-be of the Royal Family, the two both engage in royal duties, include charity work through the Royal Foundation.

Judi says that the two women have different approaches to these duties, which can be detected in their body language.

"Meghan's approach is hugely 'hit-the-ground-running' with her upright posture and her trait of sitting with one elbow in partial splay mode suggesting high levels of confidence and a desire to get her message across," the expert said.

"Kate's calmer, simpler approach, sitting back in her chair with a rather demure hand clasp gave a glimpse of what being a royal must have taught her, which is that people listen anyway with no need to ramp up the passion and drama."

Their central bond is formed around 'their cause plus Harry's humour', Judi observed.

"When Harry joked we saw both women share genuine matching smiles and mirror the partial cut-off gesture when their hands mimicked face-covering," she told Comso.

"The cause was clearly also important to both although there was some interesting body language thrown up when suggestions of 'disagreements' were thrown up."

"Both women initially hid their faces behind their hair and then Meghan laughed and grabbed Harry's arm in a rather telling gesture. William's 'Oh yes' told us sparks had clearly occurred, but Kate's demure smile wasn't giving any clues about who had been battling with who," Judi revealed.

Colour us intrigued!

Also, can we have her analyse body language in our daily lives, please? We need more insight like this!

Ed Sheeran has reportedly been asked to perform at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding, the same day he is due to perform in Dublin's Pheonix park.

According to US Weekly, the singer has already been approached by the Royal couple, though it it not yet known whether her accepted the offer.

A source told the publication: “Prince Harry has personally requested Ed perform at his wedding”.

While this may come as one of the greatest honours of Ed's career so far, the news sparks disappointment for many Irish fans.

The Royal wedding falls on the same Ed is due to perform the last of three gigs scheduled for Dublin's Pheonix park, though given the short flight time between Dublin and London, it's possible that the 26-year-old could do both in the same day.

Kensington Palace announced earlier this week that the wedding ceremony will begin at midday at St. George's Chapel, followed by a private reception for close friends and family.

Ed is yet to comment on the news, but we're hoping the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity doesn't put the Dublin gig in jeopardy.

Given that Meghan Markle will soon be an official member of the royal family, Suits is bringing in a new face for season eight to help fill the void created by the popular actress and advocate.

In what is being deemed a career-reviving role, Grey's Anatomy alum Katherine Heigl will join the drama as a series regular for its eighth season.

Heigl enter the series as a talented new partner at Pearson Specter Litt who challenges the status quo. But will she become an ally or enemy of the firm? All will be revealed.

“Joining Suits was the perfect organic way to not only collaborate with an EP I admire deeply, but to also become part of a show and cast that I am an immense fan of,” Heigl said in a statement today. “I have watched Suits from the very beginning and feel incredibly lucky to be the newest member of the Pearson Specter Litt family."

Once a rom-com regular on the big screen, Heigl was branded "difficult" for challenging the sexism rife in Hollywood; a label that saw her career almost finished – ironic considering the power of the #MeToo movement now.

She said the genre was the reason for her ruined career and took time out to stop getting typecast and to distance herself to “reevaluate her career goals”:

“This thing that was my best friend for a long time suddenly turned on me,' she said of the Hollywood industry previously. “And I didn’t expect it. I was taken by surprise and angry at it for betraying me.”

“I stopped challenging myself. It became a bit by rote and, as a creative person, that can wear you down. That was part of why I took that time off, to ask myself, "What do I want? What am I looking for?" and shut down all the noise.'

“I feel like I’m finally rolling into the next phase of my adulthood.”

We are counting down the days to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding day, and as we get closer to the special occasion, more and more details are emerging about their big day.

From Prince William’s role in the wedding to Meghan’s wedding dress designer, there are 101 things we want to find out.

What flowers will Meghan have in her bouquet? What type of cake will they have? What will their first dance song be? The list of questions is never-ending.

We welcome any information about the royal wedding with open arms, so it’s safe to say we were thrilled to hear about the tradition Meghan will be breaking during her wedding.

The former Suits actress is supposedly going to give a speech at the event, which is extremely uncommon when it comes to royal weddings.

Usually, only the groom, the best man and the father-of-the-bride have the honour of speaking during the wedding. However, in one very badass move, Meghan will be delivering her very own speech following their marriage ceremony at St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle.

Apparently, Meghan’s speech will be a heartfelt tribute to Prince Harry, where she will thank her husband-to-be for everything, as well as all the people who have supported their relationship.

The Times suggested that the former actress may even add a few jokes to her speech, which we're sure Prince Harry will approve of.

We can’t wait to hear more about Harry and Meghan’s big day!

The countdown to the royal wedding is officially underway and we can’t help but sulk over the fact that we still haven’t received an invitation yet, but there’s still time, right?

The rumour mill is full of whispers about Meghan’s wedding dress designer and Prince William’s role in the wedding, and now details about the former Suits star’s hen-party have been shared.

According to US Weekly, the future bride is planning on celebrating in a very calm way.

Forget about the fluorescent pink feather boas and plastic tiaras, Meghan is straying away from the stereotypical hen-do traditions, “Meghan will be having a party but won’t be calling it her ‘bachelorette.”

The 36-year-old is hoping to host a relaxed pre-wedding party with her dearest friends.

“Think low-key, think somewhere out of London, good food and drink, a little music. It won’t be wild,” the magazine reported.

The guest list is set to feature both male and female friends, including her best friends Lindsay Jill Roth, Jessica Mulroney and Markus Anderson.

During her latest official visit, the actress told one royal superfan that Wales was a potential spot for her celebration.

Anne Daley was lucky enough to talk to Meghan when she visited Cardiff earlier this week, alongside her fiance Prince Harry.

"I asked her if she would like to come on a hen night around the nightspots of Cardiff, and she said she'd love to,” she joked.

Who knows where Meghan will host her ‘hen-party’, but one thing we know is that it’ll be one classy affair.

Their faces have been on the cover of every newspaper and magazine since they announced their engagement, and now Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to take over the big screen.

Us television network Lifetime has revealed that a film about Harry and Meghan’s romance is in the works.

The network is currently casting people for the roles of Harry and Meghan, and seriously, where can we audition?

In the past, Lifetime has produced movies about Prince William and Kate Middleton’s relationship, as well as the controversial flick The Murder of Princess Diana.

The next royal film titled Harry & Meghan: The Royal Love Story is set to air before the royal wedding on May 19.

Menhaj Huda is to direct the movie, which follows the beginning of the lovebird’s relationship and will feature how they met, and the secretive first few months of their relationship.

It’ll come as no surprise to hear that their engagement will also feature in the movie, as well as the intense media attention that followed the announcement back in November.

The movie will also look at Meghan’s past, including her former marriage and career as an actress, which she has since given up.

Due to her new role in the royal family, the Suits star has stepped away from Hollywood, and will now focus on official royal engagements with her husband-to-be.

Speaking about the next chapter of his life with Meghan, Prince Harry shared that his beloved mum will be with there with them, thanks to Meghan’s sentimental engagement ring.

He shared, 'The little diamonds either side are from my mother’s jewellery collection to make sure that she’s with us on this – on this crazy journey together.'

The girlfriend of British politician Henry Bolton has been suspended from the Ukip party after she reportedly made racist comments about Prince Harry's fiancee, Meghan Markle.

According to The Mail on Sunday, Jo Marney, a 25-year-old glamour model, used a number of racist slurs while referring to the future Duchess.

In a series of highly offensive messages sent to a friend, Ms Marney reportedly said Harry's “black American” fiancee would “taint” the Royal Family blood line and pave the way for a “back king”.

She allegedly went on to say refer to Meghan as “a dumb little commoner” who is “obsessed with race.”

In a statement to the paper, the young party member said: “I apologise unreservedly for the shocking language I used. The opinions I expressed were deliberately exaggerated in order to make a point and have, to an extent, been taken out of context. Yet I fully recognise the offence they have caused.”

‘No offence was intended and, again, I apologise unreservedly for any such offence or hurt that my messages have caused to members of the public, members of Ukip my friends, family and loved ones. ‘I have disappointed them all and let myself down. I cannot sufficiently express my regret and sadness at having done so.’

Ukip leader, Henry Bolton, who's relationship with Jo is under investigation by the party, confirmed that she was “immediately” suspended following the claims.

The pair's relationship became public earlier this month after the Ukip leader confirmed that he had changed his “relationship status” in recent weeks.

Henry, 54, began seeing the young party member after leaving his wife Tatiana, with whom he shares two children.

In the wake of the controversy, former Ukip leadership candidate Ben Walker has called for Mr Bolton to resign, accusing him of having “deeply flawed judgement.”

The news was announced via the Kensington Palace Twitter.

The pair opened up about the proposal during their first television interview three weeks ago.
