This year’s Celebrity Big Brother is set to be an absolute cracker, if the line-up rumours are anything to go by.

First, it was claimed that Katie Price would be entering along with exes Alex Reid,  Dwight Yorke and Gareth Gates; now, rumour has it that Mel B’s sister Danielle Brown is set to sign on for the show

If her latest tweets and her controversial history with Mel are anything to by, Danielle’s appearance will make for compelling viewing.

The actress has been pretty much estranged from her famous sister for the past few years, since Mel’s marriage to Stephen Belafonte, with claims that the Brown family do not approve of the business man.

Danielle came back into the spotlight last week after news of Mel B’s ‘mystery illness’ emerged, and she didn’t hold back when it came to publicly accusing Belafonte of having a hand in her X Factor no-show.

“STOP @stephenthnks1 [Belafonte] with your evil lies!! You told me and my mum yesterday she is fine and not in hospital @SimonCowell just doing press!” she tweeted.

If she decides to tell her story in the Big Brother house, there is no doubt that Danielle will make for an amazing housemate.

It's been a long week for X Factor judge Mel B, and it seems things are only getting worse after a series of dramatic events with her husband Stephen Belafonte.

The singer was admitted to hospital on Thursday of last week, with a mystery illness that caused her to miss Saturday night's X Factor semi-final. On her return to the show the following evening, viewers expressed concern about what appeared to be visible scratches and bruises on Mel's arms and face, and the fact that she was not wearing her wedding ring.

Stephen quickly took to Twitter yesterday to deny he had anything to do with Mel's illness or apparent injuries – but it seems the seven-year marriage is not as solid as it was once was. Mel did not return to the couple's rented London home after being discharged from hospital over the weekend, and she has reportedly opened up to friends about the rocky relationship.

"The marriage really is at breaking point and hanging by a thread. Mel is incredibly fragile and in a bad place," a friend said. "At the moment it’s not looking good at all… But Mel and Stephen are so unpredictable they could just as easily survive this," added the insider.

Although Mel has remained quiet on social media about her relationship issues, she did address them in a recent magazine interview. The singer appears on the cover of the current issue of Grazia, but she reportedly turned up late to the photo shoot due to a row with Stephen. "I walked in pi**ed off because I had a big row with my husband about stupid stuff. Sometimes he pi**es me off like no other, but he gets me," she told the magazine.

Despite their apparent marriage troubles, in the past Mel has always seemed very positive about her relationship with Stephen, describing him as her "rock" and an "amazing man" in a recent interview with The Guardian.

X Factor judge Mel B returned to the show for last night's final, despite concerns for her health. The singer was there to see Ben Haenow's victory, after she bowed out of Saturday' semi-final due to an unexplained illness.

Mel was reportedly admitted to hospital in severe pain on Thursday night, though details of her condition were kept under wraps. Her sister Danielle Brown took to Twitter over the weekend to demand more information from both Simon Cowell and Mel's husband Stephen Belafonte – but it seems she too was in the dark.

When Mel finally did return to her judge's chair last night, viewers immediately expressed concern after spotting what looked like bruising and scratches on the star's arms. She also appeared to have swelling and bruising on her cheek.

Fans took to Twitter to question if Mel was really ready to return to the show – and to ask why she had chosen not to wear a wedding ring. 

Although the singer seemed her usual animated self, she hesitated when Dermot O'Leary enquired if she was feeling better, before responding, "Yes… ish."

We hope she is doing better today!

Mel B’s sister Danielle Brown has released a series of tweets showing her worry for her sister, who is currently in hospital with a suspected stomach ulcer. 

In the shocking tweets, Danielle appears to blame Mel’s husband, Stephen Belafonte for something, writing: “And now you say she is sick but ok Where is my sister??? What have you done??”

The Twitter rant began when Danielle retweeted her mum’s worried message about her X Factor judge daughter: “Mothers worst nightmare to hear ur daughters seriously ill in hosp and not know where to go!!”

From there, Danielle began to say that she was just looking for information on Mel’s condition: “This is ridiculous and cruel!!! Evil! How can NO one tell me and my family where my sister is and what is going on?????” before turning to Simon and asking for his help in the matter: “How can NO one tell me and my family where my sister is and what is going on???? Can you please help? Or who can we contact?”

She then turned her sights to Mel’s husband, threatening to go to the police with abusive phone calls she allegedly has from him: “@stephenthinks1 if I have 2go press I will! Ive recorded your calls 4 the past week including your 330am abusive call and Mel visit 2dad … I am beyond desperate and this should be a private family matter!! But we don’t know what else to do if anyone at all can help then pls do.”

Wow – we can’t imagine what Mel and her family are going through, as it is known they have had problems in the past and by the looks of the tweets her family are not a fan of her husband, Stephen. 

Either way, we really hope Mel has a speedy recovery and can patch things up with her family eventually.

Tulisa Contostavlos has made no secret of her desire to return to the X Factor fold, and it looks like she has just had her wish granted.

With poor Mel B forced out of tonight’s show due to a mystery illness, it has been revealed that former judge Tulisa has been lined up to fill in for her.

The news was announced earlier today through the show’s official Twitter account, with producers confirming: “Unfortunately Mel B is unwell and on doctor’s advice she will not be taking part in tonight’s show. Tonight Tulisa will join the panel as a Guest Judge.”

Now, we know that Simon Cowell has stated that he has no plans to change this year’s “dream team” panel, but we have a feeling Tulisa will be pulling out all the stops to impress in the hope of making a more permanent return.

It’s the biggest weekend yet for The X Factor, with the winner due to be announced, so this news could not have come at a worse time.

Show bosses have revealed that judge Mel B may miss out on the live final due to a mystery illness.

Fears were first raised after the singer missed yesterday’s press event, with the star reportedly refusing to come into contact with her act, Andrea Faustini, for fear of making him sick.

Now, while no further details of the illness have been revealed, a source has said that Mel’s chances of recovering in time for the final are highly doubtful.

The source told the Daily Star: “Mel can’t help it. She is so poorly and may have to miss the final altogether. There’s a chance she won’t make it, absolutely.”

Mel has been a total revelation in this series, so it will be a massive shame if she misses the final show. Here’s hoping that she will make a speedy recovery in time to take up her seat on the famous judging panel!

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini seems to have slipped back into her role as X Factor very smoothly – albeit more feisty than what we were previously used to.

That is why we were shocked to hear that she is unsure about returning to her role as a judge next year. Cheryl reportedly told the Daily Star that it is something she would have to consider carefully: “That’s a question Simon would have to ask me himself. Then I would have to talk about it because it’s been very emotional.”

The singer described acting as a judge on the show: “You get attached, you try not to but we’re human at the end of the day, you can’t help but feel the emotion, it’s tough. You’ve probably seen us shrinking week by week.”

Cheryl also opened up about her supposedly difficult relationship with Mel B, saying that although they have had their ups and down, they support each other: “We are two grown women, we both know what we’re here for, we’re both professional. It’s not like we want to pull each other’s weaves out or anything. We both get very passionate so it does get a bit like, ‘Ahhh’, but we support each other at the same time because we’re going through the same experience as each other.”

So that's the ‘war’ rumours cleared up for at least another week then!

Former Spice Girls singer Mel B has revealed that she has no vision in her left eye after corrective laser surgery went wrong.

The X Factor judge admitted in a recent interview that the incident happened 15 years ago and that she has been relying on limited vision ever since.

Speaking to Hello! magazine, Mel said she is now considering a cornea transplant to fix the damage to her eye. The complex surgery would involve doctors replacing part of her eye with donor tissue.

"I can't see at all out of my left eye. The lasering went wrong so this will be totally life-changing," the singer said.

Although she is a pro at TV work these days, Mel admitted she has faced difficulties at times, in particular when she hosted the MOBO awards last month. "I had a bit of a nightmare. I was reading the autocue and then suddenly I realised that I couldn't see properly," she said.

The singer received a lot of criticism for her "blundering" hosting skills at the awards, with many viewers disappointed by how disjointed the ceremony was:

Despite being keen to have her vision corrected, Mel says her surgery plans stop there and she has no interest in cosmetic procedures, hoping to stay youthful by being as healthy as possible. "I don't want to have botox or surgery because I want to have expression in my face, but I want to look after myself," she said.  "I'm not an idiot. Looks do count in this business."

There is drama in The X Factor camp after Mel B and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini were accused of snubbing Idina Menzel and Michael Bublé at last night’s show.

Idina and Michael sang their rendition of Baby, It’s Cold Outside much to the delight of the audience. They were given a standing ovation from judges Louis Walsh and Simon Cowell, but people were bemused by Cheryl and Mel B who stayed firmly sitting in their seats.

Their snub was a popular topic of chat on Twitter last night, with the public left unimpressed that the ladies hadn’t shows Idina and Michael the applause they deserved:

I think there is a lesson to be learnt here – you don't mess with Queen Elsa and you ALWAYS stand up when she sings! Even if it's not Let It Go!

While X Factor judge Mel B may be down with the kids and know everyone there is to know on the music scene, the same definitely can’t be said for her 40-year-old husband Stephen Belafonte.

Accompanying his wife to the Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women of the Year awards this week, the producer and director decided to cosy up with Ellie Goulding for a quick selfie, post the snap on Twitter and Instagram and gush: “Me and @elliegoulding getting our innocent flirt on!! #funcelebs.”

This would be totally fine if it was actually Ellie he was posing with, but it wasn’t. It was X Factor finalist and Ghost singer Ella Henderson. Starry Eyed singer Ellie Goulding wasn’t even at the event. Facepalm.

The oblivious Stephen was alerted to his mistake by ever-vigilant Twitter users who were quick to label the post ‘awks!’ and ‘cringe!’ and even more embarrassingly, Stephen was forced to use the age-old predictive text excuse, saying; “Damn u iPhone!" Good save Stephen, good save.

We wonder what Mel will have to say about her husband’s embarrassing granddad blunder.

Viewers watching Sunday night's X Factor results show might not have noticed too much tension between Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Mel B, but behind the scenes things were really heating up.

Cheryl was reportedly "livid" that Mel chose to save boy band Stereo Kicks over Lauren Platt, an act of Cheryl's who had always been a favourite of Mel's. 

The former Girls Aloud star briefly addressed her annoyance on air, saying, "I find it amazing that the critiques have been a certain way over the last few weeks, then it comes to this part and it changes – that amazes me." 

Mel B was then spotted mouthing "You what?" at her fellow judge, but host Dermot O'Leary moved on before giving the singer a chance to properly respond.

According to an insider, it was after the live show ended that the cat-fighting really began. "Mel is more than capable of standing up for herself and when the cameras stopped rolling, she pulled Cheryl up straight away," a source told The Sun. "That led to a really frosty moment… Cheryl was livid that Mel turned on her act and the fact she called her out in front of millions of people just shows how angry she was."

Despite Mel's attempts to explain her decision to vote for Stereo Kicks, Cheryl apparently refused to sit next to her during The Xtra Factor, filmed after the results show. 

This isn't the first time Cheryl has moved seats following a row with a fellow judge – last month she demanded that Louis swap seats with her on air after coming to blows with Simon over his act Jay James. But it sounds like things could be a little more serious this time. "What happened between Cheryl and Mel B on Sunday was real." said the source.

"In Cheryl's opinion, Mel completely went back on everything she has been saying all series about Lauren and Stereo Kicks."

Wow… we hope they can sort things out before next Saturday!
