Poor Rita. The pop starlet tends to get a lot of flack over her fashion choices, but perhaps this one is justified. The I Will Never Let You Down singer took to the X Factor stage last night seemingly having forgotten to dress her bottom half. Yikes. 

Yes, audiences got more than they bargained for when the star donned a SUPER short and not so easy on the eye blazer along with a new fringe and bright green eye shadow. 

Twitter went into a spin and quickly blasted the singers look but Rita should be used to this by now, her daring and divisive fashion sense is often the source of ridicule. 

However, in this case she is not the only celeb to rock a trouser-less look. Here, SHEmazing! documents the culprits…

 

1) Miley Cyrus 

Miley debuted this look on the eve of her dramatic transformation into twerking, tongue out, wrecking ball Miley. Though we think her hair and make up is flawless (and those shoes are to DIE for), she was definitely pre-empting her outrageous fashion choices by wearing a blazer and literally nothing else. The gold body chains and stripped back accessories are a nice touch to the outfit but nothing can overcome the fact that she is wearing absolutely no trousers you guys. 

 

2) Rihanna 

We know Rihanna is a mad dresser and that is kind of why we love her. This velvet blazer ensemble manages to preserve some of her dignity by wearing tights but still not much is left to the imagination (as usual). The fringed bag and diamond choker definitely adds to the drama but overall we can't place this as one of her better looks. We are not sure if even a pair of trousers could have saved it. 

 

3) Roz Purcell 

Even the Irish are not immune to the occasional foregoing of pants but it definitely helps if you happen to be a genetically gifted super model. We totally want this eye pooping glitter number for party season but sorry Roz, we will be throwing a skirt on. 

 

4) Kendall Jenner 

Legs for days. Kendall arrived at her destination sporting a Yeezus Tour jumper (a gift from Kanye perhaps?) and… well that's it really.Taking casual chic to a new level, with legs like that we can hardly blame her. Just don't bend over, Ken. 

 

5) Charlotte Crosby 

We know this Geordie lass is a bit crazy (she jumped into a pool with a potted plant in the latest season of Geordie Shore folks) but wearing a shirt without a pair of bottoms surely tops the list? No? Okay maybe not, but this image from the campaign of her fashion line sure crosses the boundary into dodgy. She is one pesky gust of wind away from full exposure but we guess that this shameless celeb does not have much to hide. 

 

6) Solange Knowles

Okay, we know that this lady is seriously stylish and if any celeb has gotten close to undoubtedly pulling off the trouser-less look, it's her. Solange pairs a white shirt with a white waistcoat and forgoes trousers simply pairing her ensemble with a red lip, barely there stilettoes and her trademark fro'. However, we are still a bit traumatised by the length of this look and not quite sure how she managed to sit down. A pair of matching white short shorts may have been the perfect finish to this nearly there ensemble.

It's really hard to think of Miley Cyrus as someone other than the rebel, tongue-wagging wildchild she is today.

But her audition tape for Hannah Montana has just resurfaced and it's making us remember her early Disney Channel days.

In the video, Miley is seen reading her lines, as well as doing an adorable choreographed handshake and duet with her father.

If this shows us anything, it's that Ms Cyrus has some raw acting talent in there:

We apologise in advance for ruining your productivity #goals for today, but once you set your eyes on Missy Elliott's new music video, you'll have to watch it all day long. 

Totally mesmerising and addictive, Missy's hair, make-up and outfits just ooze coolness. What's more is that Pharrell makes a cameo appearance… as a puppet. 

The song also has a catchy hook which seems to be targeted at one certain pop star: "The dance you doing is dumb/ How they do where you from/ Stickin' out your tongue girl/ But you know you're too young." Hmmm… 

The single means that a full album is likely on the way (yes!).

Her most recent album, The Cookbook, was out in 2005 and the last video she was in was Shake Your Pom Pom in 2008. Now go forth and watch it a million times.

We love a homegrown hero and up and coming modelling sensation Stella Maxwell is no exception.

Looking phenomenal as a Victoria's Secret Angel, she has officially become our latest girl crush. But who is she, where did she come from and most importantly how can we have her life?! 

1. She has Irish in her blood
Though Stella grew up in many different parts of the globe, she was born to Northern Irish parents. Her parents are both Belfast natives which means we are officially claiming her as Irish. 

 

2. She has lived all over the world 
The leggy blonde spent her early years in Belgium before moving to New Zealand with her Dad being a successful diplomat. She now casually manages to split her time between LA and NYC. Jealous does not even begin to cover it!

 

3. She dated Miley
Even with her modelling credentials, Stella came to everyone's attention when it was reported she was dating none other than Miley Cyrus earlier this year.

Having met through mutual friends, the pair were caught passionately kissing and even though it looks like the fling may have ended, it caused a pretty big sensation. Let’s just say we cannot wait to see who Stella dates next.

 

4. She is a Victoria's Secret Angel
Stella walked the 2014 Victoria's Secret show and officially became an Angel in 2015. She wore her wings for the first time on this week's show, which took place on Tuesday, and she looked amazing. 

 

5. She's a catwalk veteran
Though she was thrust into the limelight for being a Victoria's Secret model and her rendezvous with Miley, Stella is a seasoned model and has walked many catwalk shows in her short career.

Big names she has worked for include Marc Jacobs and Moschino. 

 

6. She has a seriously enviable squad
Apart from being effortlessly trendy, Stella Gigi Hadid amongst her BFFs, and lives in New York with her best pal and fellow model Barbara Palvin. She gives us a serious case of #squadgoals.

 

7. She takes androgynous to a new level
Beginning her career with a short, peroxide blonde pixie cut, Stella propelled herself into the fashion industry by being able to create a variety of versatile looks.

She's gorgeous, but we must admit she would make a pretty cute boy 

 

8. She’s a musician
Stella recently told V Magazine that she has finished up an album with friends in New York. Watch this space…

 

9. She dropped out of university
Before her modelling career took off, Stella studied in the University of Otago in New Zealand where she studied Psychology for one year. She left college in favour of her modelling career. Can you blame her?

Liam Hemsworth really loved his former fiancée, Miley Cyrus. 

It's been two years since The Hunger Games actor and Miley mutually called off their engagement, but Liam promises he has no ill-feelings for the pop star. 

"You fall in love with who you fall in love with; you can never choose. I guess some people just come with a little more baggage," Liam told Men's Fitness.

"I mean, look—we were together five years, so I don't think those feelings will ever change. And that's good because that proves to me that it was real. It wasn't just a fling."

Miley and Liam met as co-stars on the set of The Last Song, which was released in 2010. But even after their relationship came to a dramatic end, Liam regards it as an important time in his life. 

"It really was an important part of my life and always will be. She's a free spirit. I think she'll always surprise people with what she does, but she's not a malicious person in any way. She's a young girl who wants to do what she wants to do."

Ms Cyrus went on to date Patrick Schwarzenegger for a brief few months, and even though Liam was linked to Eiza Gonzalez for a while, he has been mostly single since calling off his engagement with Miley. In fact, he told Men's Health that he finds it really difficult to date. 

"I'm constantly travelling, and I don't go out to clubs or anything like that. I have a great small group of friends in my life, but I barely ever meet anyone new."

"It's tough to have a relationship in this industry, though not to the point where it makes me depressed. I'm constantly working, and I love working.

"I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything at this point—I feel like I'm focusing on the right things and prioritising things in the right way, and I'm a healthy, happy person."

Miley Cyrus is probably the star who has performed some of the more bizarre acts on stage in the last number of years.

From floating around on giant inflatable hot dogs to that foam finger performance with Robin Thicke, she has proved she’s not afraid to basically do whatever she likes.

Not too long ago it was announced that she was going to be going on tour with the Flaming Lips.

In order to promote her new collaborative LP, Miley Cryus and Her Dead Petz, the 22-year old is going to be hitting the road.

Unfortunately, the latest news surrounding the tour looked like it might be bad for any lactose intolerant Miley fans.

Or, any of her fans that prefer to enjoy live music while remaining fully clothed.

The lead singer of the Flaming Lips, Wayne Coyne, posted a photo to Instagram which detailed some of Miley’s plans for her tour performances.

They include everyone being “completely naked” and “spewed with white stuff that looks like milk”.

The caption also explained that the gig would be featured in Miley’s music video for the song The Milky Milky Milk. So anyone who wants their moment in the spotlight better start working some milk into their signature dance moves.

Right, so the show may be suitable for the dairy-free aficionados but people were still curious about the nude aspect.

It is not entirely clear if this particular performance will be a part of the regularly scheduled tour or not, but knowing Miley it very well could be.

Miley Cyrus has released a new balled – and it's a stunner that'll remind you just how talented Miley is when you peel back the layers of outrageous outfits and tongue-wagging.

The emotional piano ballad, Hands of Love, sees Ms Cyrus shouting out a cry for equal rights. The song is also inspired by and pays tribute to the real-life heroes who inspired new Hollywood movie, Freeheld. 

The film stars Ellen Page and Julianne Moore as a lesbian couple fighting for domestic partner rights. Miley channels their fight, singing, “In the hands of love, we carry on/Stronger than we started.”

In other words, yes, this Linda Perry-penned tune is a far cry from Miley's weird and trippy Dead Petz album, and we secretly hope she'll sing more songs like this one in the future.

People were not happy with Miley Cyrus hosting this year’s VMAs according to newly released complaints!

Well, make that about 20 people. That's the number of concerned viewers who were so offended with her nipples and twerking that they decided to officially lodge a complaint with the Federal Communications Commission.

Apparently sending angry tweets or commenting on her Instagram page wasn't enough—these viewers wouldn't stop until the TV station heard a piece of their mind. 

Rolling Stone got their hands on each and every formal complaint and they are hilarious to say the least and we picked the best ones for you to read here.

You’re going to get a huge kick out of these:

1. "There were multiple words that were not okay, including 'horny.'"

2. "I only watched about 10 minutes, and it just so happened to be right when Miley Cyrus 'accidentally' exposed her breast on-air. This is not expectable."

3. "Miley Cyrus is a VERY TROUBLED CHILD and I can not believe what she was able to get away with on this show. Seems like she is in the news everywhere doing disgusting, perverted and lewd things. I just can't understand why this CHILD gets away with all of this."

4. "MTV used to be decent now there is cuss words."

5. "Please do not televise this garbage. It is not fit for any human being to see."

6. "MTV has aired a clip of Donald Trump and immediately afterward Miley Cyrus appears with both middle fingers up. It is clear they are putting the clips back to back to relay a message."

Terry Richardson is used to having still-teenaged women take off much of their clothing and pose up for him in a provocative manner.

Now it seems that Pia Mia is no different. 

Indeed, she is firmly following in the footsteps of her BFF Kylie Jenner, who marked her 18th birthday with her own eyebrow-raising Richardson shoot, as seen in Galore magazine earlier this month.

Miley Cyrus, 22, did something similar two years ago: the resulting snaps caused oodles of controversy at the time, which presumably is what everyone involved wanted. 

By comparison, 19-year-old Pia Mia's just-seen snaps are relatively tame, although they still boost plenty of Terry trademarks – pouting lips; open mouths, and sprawled legs.

Very much a rising star, Ms Mia scored her first hit earlier this year with Do It Again, which featured Tyga and Chris Brown. The accompanying video has also now notched up 75million views on YouTube.

Miley Cyrus appearance in a new MAC ad campaign caused quite a bit of commotion of late.

The new MAC Viva Glam ad shows a rhinestone and sequin swimsuit clad Miley posing in front of a mirror sporting some bright red lippy. Unlike her Instagram snaps, Miley is otherwise covered up aside from baring an awful lot of leg.

However, the British Advertising Standards Authority was called in because of complaints that Miley’s ads were “overtly sexual” and “unsuitable for display as posters in public areas where children could see them,” reports the Guardian.

MAC were quick to defend the ads, which were shot for their AIDs charity Viva Glam campaign. They described Miley’s pose as “confident” with a “defiant stare” which was supposed to attract viewers to her eyes. Not the rest of her body.

Some complaints took issue with the fact that Miley's crotch was visible in the reflections of mirrors where the posters hang.

The ASA did not agree completely with MAC’s take on the photos but said:

“While we considered that the images in all three posters were sexually suggestive, we concluded however, that they were not overtly sexual and unlikely to cause serious or widespread offence.

The ASA had said that the ads should not appear within 100 metres of schools. This was something which MAC had made clear themselves when they booked the campaign with billboard and poster media owners.

Miley Cyrus is no stranger to exhibitionism, but she's taken things to extreme levels with her latest photoshoot.

The series of risqué photos appear in Interview magazine's #Me issue, which has eight different celebrity covers, with everyone from J-Lo to Zayn Malik taking part.

Inside are more photos of each cover star plus over 100 other celebs. To get some of the more provocative shots, like Kim Kardashian's topless cover and Selena Gomez in a wild child pose, photographer Mert Alas FaceTimed each star and screengrabbed his favourite images.

But in Miley's case, we think he's taken his role as photographer a step too far. In one shot, Miley can be seen topless and licking her lips while Mert looks on:

In another, she pulls her t-shirt over her head and she straddles the floor:

And in the most extreme shot of them all, Miley appears to masturbate as Mert watches:

The photoshoot's caption is surpringly blasé considering the content. "Sometimes you have to reach out and touch someone-slash-yourself. Mert Alas shares a few of his sexts with the fearless and self-possessed princess of pop," it reads.

One critic has branded the shoot as "flat out porn" while another says it begs the question of "where empowerment ends and pornography begins."

Of course, Miley has always pushed the boundaries when it comes to stripping off for shoots. Who can forget those Terry Richardson photos of her in a red leotard back in March 2013?

Seems like she's not planning on reigning things in any time soon.
