This might make me sound like a total aul wan – but I bloody love a good board game. 

I spent my childhood playing Pay Day, Cluedo and Monopoly, and it was a great time in my life, let me tell ya. 

Anyway, mny penchant for board games became even more obvious when I discovered that Monopoly are releasing a Friends version.

The classic game is being twisted into a version that is perfect for anyone obsessed with Friends (Us). 

Play as either Ross, Rachel, Phoebe, Monica, Joey or Chandler by choosing one of the exclusive tokens which are iconic to the gang; will it be Rachel’s handbag, Ross’ dinosaur, Chandler’s sweater vest or even Phoebe’s acoustic guitar? 

AMAZING. 

As you pivot around the table you will be taken down memory lane of the best memories from Friends.

Get this brilliant game here for a reasonable thirty quid (it is a collectors edition, to be fair).

Nothing reminds us of Christmas like sitting around the table playing a board game, right?

Sure, eventually someone gets extremely p**sed off by losing, flips the game in the air and the fun is over – but that's just a family story to tell! 

Anyway, this year might be the year that NO arguments over a board game occur – all thanks to our amazing pals at Disney. 

That's right folks, this year will see the official launch of Disney Monopoly, and we can hardly wait to play! 

The counters have had a Disney makeover, swapping the Old Boot for Cinderella's Glass Slipper, naturally enough. But wait, there's also the Lamp from Aladdin, the Circus Tent from Dumbo, and Hook's ship from Peter Pan.

HOW DIVINE?

There's also a tiny version of Snow White's Poisoned Apple, and Beauty and the Beast fans can rejoice as there is a little stack of teacups too – we're swooning!

The game is just like the classic in that you pay bills and taxes and all that other fun stuff. 

However, there are cute perks like teaching Bambi how to ice skate, which will help you earn a fortune. So cute. 

The money has had a Disney mix up too, with cute little dalmatian paw prints scattered on it, and in true magical style, you'll be playing for castles and cottages, instead of flats and semi-detached homes. 

You better act fast if you want to get your hands on one of these babies, as they are limited edition, and cost £27.43 from Amazon. 

Bargain.

When the presents are opened and the dinner is demolished, there's nothing better than sitting down with the fam and having a good crack at a board game.

Whether it's Scrabble or Cluedo, or everyone's favourite, Monopoly, we all think that it's going to be a great laugh… until you're actually in the middle of it.

Little Scrabble letters get thrown, insults are shouted, and it generally ends up with the board game turned upside down and your mam having her third glass of wine.

But things are a little different this year ladies, because Hasbro UK and Ireland Craig Wilkins have set up a hotline to help you settle your gaming woes.

From the 24 to 26 December, the hotlines will be open for business, the the managing director of the companies hoping it will diffuse any family arguments.

He said: “We’ll have experts on hand with the official rulebooks to instantly settle any disputes, and advice on how to resolve common complaints, with each person also having the opportunity to make a donation to Childline when they call."

Hands up who will probably have a family argument either way?!

Helen Flanagan is certainly keeping herself busy while she waits for her unborn baby to make their debut.

The former Coronation Street actress gave everyone a special insight into how she’s spending her remaining downtime. Hint: she’s not re-watching old Corrie episodes.

The 24-year old actress delighted fans today when she shared a sweet snap of her and her baby-daddy Scott Sinclair playing Monopoly to pass the time.

No word yet on who the winner was, but we’re hoping Helen got the best of her beau Scott. Captioning the photo “playing Monopoly #waitingforbaby #geeks ❤️x,” Helen didn't seem to mind spilling about her decidedly uncool choice of activity.

Helen has kept us all up to date with her pregnancy, sharing photos of her progress regularly. Just two weeks ago she was sporting a fabulous bikini, refusing to let her bump get in the way of summer style.

Having said in the past that she’s always known she wanted a family, Helen and Scott decided last year that it was their time to finally have their own baby.

It seems that if they do welcome a little boy in the coming days, he’s not going to be a Scott Jr, with Helen telling reporters, "I love the name Flynn.” She also revealed that being a mum is "everything I’ve genuinely wanted to be.”

We’re almost as excited as Helen is to meet her new baby! Almost.
