Reports are coming in that Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are currently under investigation by child protective services over a controversial picture of their daughter, Willow.

Will and Jada have been surrounded by controversy the last month, when a picture was posted online of the 13-year-old Willow, lying on a bed with her friend, Mosias Arias who is 20.

Child services have been apparently investigating the couple for the last week and have said that both Will and Jada have been “extremely cooperative”.

“Social workers will also be talking separately with Willow, and they also want to talk to the young man in the picture with her as well.  This won’t just be one or two visits with the family, and it will likely be an open investigation for at least a month, out of an abundance of caution.”

Before the investigation took place, Willow’s mother, Jada recently spoke about the picture and said people were exaggerating what took place.

“Here’s the deal. There was nothing sexual about that picture of that situation. You guys are projecting your trash onto it … and your acting like covert paedophiles and that’s not cool.”

The picture has since been taken from social media sites.
