We probably shouldn’t be too surprised that things have taken another strange turn in the Shia LaBeouf saga, but this is a bit far.

The young actor turned up on the red carpet for the premiere of his film Nymphomaniac in Germany wearing a paper bag that read, “I am not famous anymore”.

These words have been etched on the star’s Twitter account for a while now.

During a press conference for the movie, Shia walked out mid-way through after quoting Eric Cantona’s famous line: “When the seagulls follow the trawler, it is because they think sardines will be thrown in the sea.”

Seriously Shia, if you’re going make some sort of point at least make up your own inspirational quote.

Diana was meant to be the movie of the year but sunk fast following its release last September.

Garnering only an 8% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, who praised Watts’ efforts “under a shoddy script and clumsy direction,” the movie gained criticism from movie reviews worldwide.

Naomi was also nominated for a Golden Raspberry Award for Worst Actress in Diana.

During an interview with JustJared, Naomi spoke about the movie and why it had appealed to her in the first place.

Describing the “pressure” of playing “the most famous woman of our time,” Naomi also said the script read well and appealed to her because it was “just a great love story” and one she had not heard about.
