If you have a pet, it's safe to say you often wonder what they get up to when you're out of the house.

So much so, some people even set up cameras to record their fluffy friends.

Well, The Secret Life of Pets is hitting Ireland on June 24 and it's everything we could have possibly imagined.

The animated flick is all about our mischievous little pals, and it's pretty similar to what we think they get up to in our heads.

This film follows Max, a Jack Russell Terrier, who adores his owner, Katie, but when a sloppy mongrel named Duke enters the picture the two dogs have to go head to head to gain Katie's affection.

And if that wasn't bad enough, disaster hits when Max and Duke are captured, and their friends will do anything to bring them back home.

This movie is seriously everything you think it will be and more. And if you love animals, and feel your pet is part of your family, then this is certainly the movie for you.

And if you love your pet loads, just like they do in this movie, we are giving away a PET-friendly family break to the Twelve Hotel. Here's more info for you to enter our competition!

Following the announcement of his split from Amber Heard last week, Hollywood superstar, Johnny Depp, has faced serious press scrutiny, and it doesn't look like things are about to get better any time soon.

In addition to being accused of domestic abuse, the actor has now learned that his latest Tinseltown offering has officially tanked at the box office.

With Alice Through the Looking Glass expected to take in a whopping $70 million in its opening weekend, the news that it fell massively short of that figure is not going to sit well with moviemakers.

Pulling in just $28 million in its first weekend, the Alice in Wonderland sequel failed to set the box office alight, with the press suggesting that his recent headlines may have been a contributing factor.

According to Deadline, however, industry analysts have contradicted that point, insisting that earlier reviews are likely to have swayed the public's opinion.

The news comes after Johnny's former partner and teenage daughter have defended him against allegation of domestic abuse, with Vanessa Pardis writing: "He is a sensitive, loving and loved person, and I believe with all my heart that these recent allegations being made are outrageous."

"In all these years I have known Johnny he has never been physically abusive with me and this looks nothing like the man I lived with for 14 wonderful years," she insisted.

Johnny and Amber have been married for 15 months.

Despite not giving much away, the clip reminds us that when it comes to the classics, Disney really doesn’t do things by half, and with a cast which includes Ewan McGregor, Sir Ian McKellen and Emma Thompson, we know we're in for a goodun'.

From the haunting music to the stunning scenery, this is one movie we can’t WAIT to see in its entirety.

If Roald Dahl books played as big a part in your childhood birthdays and Christmases as it did in ours, then you'll be only dying for The BFG to hit the big screen later this year, right?

We may be long past wishing we had gotten the chance to hang out with the world's friendliest giant and we know the ship has definitely sailed on us channelling our inner Sophie, but that doesn't mean we can't relive our youth with Stephen Spielberg's incredible adaptation.

While it's not hitting the silver screen until later this summer, the good folk from Entertainment One UK have released a new trailer which is bound to satisfy you until you can get your teeth into the real thing.

We don't know about you, but it's like someone literally splashed our imaginings across the big screen, and we LOVE it.

Prepare to relive your youth, ladies!

And now over to you…

If you've ever seen Superbad, you'll know that the 2007 movie is absolutely chock-full of juvenile jokes and immature humour – hardly surprising given that the two main characters are still weeks from graduating high school.

However, it looks like the movie's writer, Seth Rogen, harbours some regrets when it comes to the movie's questionable script which he actually began writing at the age of 13.

Recently speaking to The Guardian newspaper, the 34-year-old writer and actor explained that he regrets the “blatantly homophobic” gags which were a constant throughout the movie which starred Jonah Hill and Michael Cera.

"It’s funny looking at some movies we’ve made in the last 10 years under the lenses of new eras, new social consciousness," he said when discussing the film which grossed $169.9 million worldwide.

"There’s for sure some stuff in our earlier movies and even in our more recent movies where even like a year later you’re like, ‘Eh, maybe that wasn’t the greatest idea'" he said.

While acknowledging that the, at times, homophobic script was delivered by highschool characters, he's not comfortable that the filmmakers were "to some degree glamourising that type of language in a lot of ways."

We wonder if he regrets those bizarre penis drawings as much…

Ladies, we don't want to send you completely over the edge given we still have a day and a half of the working week left to get through, but we have some pretty big news for you this afternoon.

It's time for fans of cult classic, The Craft, to start reapplying their plum lipstick because we're about to find out what happened the girls who had us casting spells in our bedroom back in the day.

Responding to the rumours that we are set for a sequel of the 1996 hit film, producer Douglas Wick said: "We wouldn’t so much call it a remake as a ’20 years later’"

"There will be callbacks to the original movie, so you will see there is a connection between what happened in the days of The Craft, and how these young women come across this magic many years later," he revealed.

Now ladies, before you pass out with excitement, it still hasn't been confirmed whether any of the original cast will be reprising their roles, but that hasn't stopped us doing 'Light as a Feather, Stiff as a Board' all morning in Shemazing! HQ.

If your fear of clowns came after sneaking a brief glimpse at Stephen King's IT back in the day, you may want to stop reading now because we have some truly hideous news.

According to Variety, New Line and Warner Bros. have finally announced a release date for their adaptation of the 1990 horror flick – the original of which was based on a Stephen King novel and scared the pants off anyone who decided to venture past its cover.

The story which follows a group of children who are forced to confront Pennywise the Clown is not for the fainthearted, so news that production is set to get under this way this summer has us in panic mode in SHEmazing! HQ.

Following some conflicting schedules and pre-production switch-ups, it seems we will again be forced to meet the monster which haunted our childhoods and turned us into quivering messes at the mere hint of a day out at the circus.

If you really don't want to revisit past nightmares, you may want to lay low when this gutwrenching adaptation hits our screens late next year.

We'll be hiding in the wardrobe if you need us.

But what about you?

We've all been there: desperately trying to remember a great film we saw way back.

Even worse – trying to explain to a friend that one of your favourite cinematic classics involves 'yer man the famous guy with the head and the hat and he has a horse but the horse dies'.

However, there now is a glorious website that is pretty much the answer to all our movie conundrums.

Step forward What Is My Movie. Simply type in any key-words that come to mind and then sit back and watch it muster up an answer. We've been playing with it all morning and suffice to say that it's scarily accurate.

Developed by Finnish startup Valossa, a company founded by computer science researchers and engineers from Finland’s University of Oulu, the site is fast becoming one of the most enjoyable ways to narrow down your Netflix choices.

And are some of our results from earlier:

1) Homeward Bound

2) Titanic

3) Bruce Almighty

4) Harry Potter

5) Pirates of the Caribbean

6) Ben Hur

7) Clueless

Rewind twenty years or so, and you’d be hard-pressed to find many kick-ass, physical and powerful lead roles for females. Now though, the world of cinema is bursting with strong, fierce ladies who like nothing more than to whip some serious butt.

Case in point is Triple 9, which opens this weekend, starring Kate Winslet as a ruthless Russian crime boss who turns to blackmail to pull off a virtually impossible heist.

In anticipation of Kate’s most ball-busting role yet, we’re taking a look at the most badass female characters from the world of cinema. Here are the ladies giving us total life goals…

The Bride in Kill Bill
Played by Uma Thurman, The Bride in Tarantino’s Kill Bill is a no-brainer when it comes to strong female leads. After waking from a four year-coma, she sets out on a bloody revenge mission to get vengeance on the team of assassins who betrayed her. The Bride kicks some serious ass as she works her way through the group of vigilantes, who all call her bitter ex husband boss.

Imperator Furiosa in Mad Max: Fury Road
Charlize Theron played the role of independent, head strong Furiosa in Mad Max: Fury Road last year. As she rebels against a tyrannical ruler in a post-apocalyptic world, Furiosa is a force to be reckoned with, leading a motley crew in search of safety and out of the grasp of Immortan Joe.

Lisbeth Salander in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
Portrayed by Rooney Mara in the 2011 production, Lisbeth is a straight up badass. A computer hacker, Lisbeth aids disgraced journalist as he investigates a 40 year old missing persons case. An unpredictable, defiant and slightly sinister character, Lisbeth deserves her spot in our top five.

Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games Series
The role that brought Jennifer Lawrence to the fore, Katniss Everdeen is one strong lady. Forced to fight to the death in the sick Hunger Games, Katniss must kill or be killed. To survive she must become a fierce, force to be reckoned with.

Hit Girl in Kick-Ass
The youngest badass to make our list, Hit Girl, is an 11 year old slasher vigilante with a foul mouth. Played by Chloe Moretz, Hit Girl has had extensive training to become a killing machine, with a insane knowledge of all things weaponry. Trained to fight bad guys alongside her father, Big Daddy, Hit Girl is an intensely violet and undeniably effective killing machine.

For more kick-ass action, don’t miss Triple 9, in cinemas from February 19.

So you have all gathered around on the couch for some quality family time.

The popcorn is ready, the onesie's are on and you are thinking to yourself that there is no where else in the world you would rather be.

That is until, some actors' bare bottom flashes up on screen.

There is perhaps nothing worse than innocently watching a film that descends into racy sex scenes with your Mam or Dad sitting right next to you. And WHY do those scenes seem to last a LIFETIME.

Well, now you can adequately protect yourself from these awkward movie scenes by using CringeMBD.

All you have to do to avoid any scarlet moments with the family is to type in the name of any film between 1995 and 2015 and wait to see if it is parent-proof.

The website provides you with a simple and effective Yes or No answer as to whether you should really be hitting play button with any young ones or parentals in the room.

And the best part? You don't have to spoil the plot for yourself or make any awkward runs to the bathroom during the movie.

We say, YES PLEASE.

We have been anticipating the release of Room for well over a year now and thank goodness, we don't have to wait much longer.

To appease our appetites, a brand new trailer has been released and it has pretty much cemented the fact that this will no doubt be the first film we go to see in 2016.

Based on the hit novel of the same name written by Irish author Emma Donoghue, the movie version has been tackled by esteemed Irish director Lenny Abrahamson, known for such titles as Frank and What Richard Did

Room tells the story of a mother, played by up and coming American actress Brie Larson, and her 5-year-old son who are finally released back into the world after years spent in captivity.

The film is already receiving highly positive reviews and there are murmurs that the film may enjoy some Oscar nominations at the 2016 awards.

Room will be in cinemas on the 15th of January, but in the meantime enjoy the trailer below.

If you thought that the season 7 finale of Pretty Little Liars would be the last time a simple text message would scare the living daylights out of you then think again! Pretty Little Liars showrunner Marlene King hinted at the possibility of a PLL film.

"We’ve got some really big ideas for a great PLL movie, but that won’t happen right after the series ends," King said during an interview with Good Morning America

"I think we’ll take a little break and let everybody go off and do a few things and hopefully we’ll come back together again and do something really special.”

She didn’t didn't reveal anything major about what a movie would entail or where the Liars would be. Might we suggest at least relocating from Rosewood? Seriously, there has been enough chaos in that town for one generation.

ABC Family recently renewed Pretty Little Liars for a seventh season. Actress Troian Bellisario, who plays Spencer Hastings, said previously that season 7 would be the last for the series. Marlene has also hinted that we're still in store for some "final twists." Fantastic, just when we starting to sleeping peacefully.

If there is a film on the cards then we highly doubt that the series is going to end without leaving some serious cliff hangers. Who knows, maybe Marlene has heard her fans sobbing in the dark and has decided to give the group of intoxicated moms in the basement a film for themselves.

Not that we would be complaining about that, to be honest.
